[Music] yeah so growing up i always like loved volleyball it was my passion it was my number one sport always and i think actually growing up for a long time i watched like beach volleyball and so missy may trainer was actually someone who i really looked up to i remember when i was a little kid and i looked up to so many people in sports and being able to be that role model for kids now i think it's really awesome it's crazy to think that i have the platform now that i'm a role model for other girls you know i was that girl once looking up to those players we talk about so much in our team trusting each other and leaning on each other and being that we're always representing nebraska volleyball in the community and when we're out in the world and i think it's just a really awesome opportunity for us to set an example for those younger girls that look up to us and watch us what's going on [Music] oh hi oh hi i love your shoes hi my name is emmy my favorite athlete is nebraska volleyball player nicholas james she is my favorite player because she's great team player and she always knows where to hit the ball my name is satan and i'm six years old my favorite high school is nebraska volleyball players you are ladies and gentlemen my name is maya i am eight years old my favorite husker is nebraska volleyball player maddie cubic she is my favorite because she has she always has a smile on her face and she looks like she's having so much fun on the court and she can hit the ball really hard because she's beautiful and she's stunning beautiful she tries really hard i love how she gets so fired up during the game and i am so glad she is coming back for another season she is a great husker someday i hope i can be a teammate like and player like maddie because if you can have fun while working hard good things can happen i can't wait to watch maddie and the huskers play next season she's my favorite because she's small but feels just like me can i have a hug oh thank you i made me tear up honestly i like want to cry like i have tears in my eyes oh you really put me on the spot it's just awesome thank you just as i mean just to see like the impact i have on people is still kind of like surprises me a little bit and i mean i want to help grow the sport and help inspire like little kids as much as i can so i mean yeah this means the world if you would have told me that i would be that type of impact um i don't think i would have believed you a couple years ago but um it's just crazy um to be in this position and i'm really grateful for it it's just kind of unreal and it kind of makes me like speechless because you know we talk about being on this platform and that there's young girls looking up to us but like we don't get an opportunity to sit and talk and hang out with them as much as we would probably like to it's amazing i think that's just like the cutest thing ever and i don't know it just to me it's like i work so hard and like for that like that's everything to me that means more to me than anything
