it's been an exciting coverage I mean obviously I mean I'm excited about spring football I always get excited about spring football but we got to move on we got to get to more parts of the off season and we're going to make an announcement about what's going on for you know June and through the rest of the off season coming up for college football Tuesdays on pin freny it's going to be exciting I'm excited I'm ready to rock and roll with the show so not only that um it I hope everyone had a great weekend also it's Memorial Day uh this episode is going be dedicated to uh everyone uh who has uh sacrificed for us uh you know in all branches of military and this episode's going to be dedicated to you guys so thank you and uh you know just for everything they all done and uh this one's for you guys so uh for this episode we're going to talk about spring results and we're going to get down into the last bit of spring results based off of our spring Outlook order and what better way to end it within some newly line conference members I'm talking about teams from the Big 12 I'm talking about two teams from the Big 10 as well one team remains of the Big 10 obviously at the end but uh two three the other three teams have moved conferences we got two teams for the Big 12 I'm talking about teams out in out in Tucson and out in Boulder not only that we got in in the form of Arizona wildcast in Colorado buffal as well as the team out in Seattle in Washington Husky they're in the Big 10 and we go back to Lincoln and we go to Corn Husker country in Nebraska um a lot of exciting things coming out of Nebraska uh and you we're going to talk about that at the end of the episode with Nebraska um honestly Nebraska kind of shocked me a little bit I I'm gonna be real I'm just going to sit that say that right now Nebraska kind of got to me a little bit I was surprised and I'm gonna tell you why when we get to Nebraska but with our spring results let's kick it off with the big 12 members that being said Arizona we're going to kick it off with Arizona Arizona uh then we're going to go to the Big 10 with Washington then we're going to go back to the Big 12 of Colorado then we're going to end it with Nebraska so let's go with Arizona and their spring results so Arizona new coach Brent Brown uh and he is now uh a part of the Arizona program after being with the uh after being with the San Jose say Spartans for a long time uh now with the Arizona um now with the Arizona uh you know or Brent Brennan excuse me rather Brent Brenan now with the Arizona wildcast his first spring game uh going to do a tough a tougher conference it is the Big 12 um and it's a power five going from a group of fivey old Power five school it's it's it's understandable that things might not go right off the bat round one but I'm honestly a lot of the players from Jed fish's offense is still in Arizona like Noah fa like tat T taroa McMillan McMillan uh a lot of guys like that are still there um you got a lot of guys uh who are still there from the defense um and and and you got a lot of guys there who were just you know really really good you got uh Jacob Manu um you still there uh you got a lot of gu you got you know a lot of guys just who are still there on that offense and on that team and on that defense who were still ready to play for Bren Brennan now there's some guys who uh Jonah Coleman he went to Washington a lot of guys transferred with Jed fish but there's a lot of guys who stayed the course as I like to say stayed the course and suck it out at Arizona it's a different transition uh you're coming off of a 10 and three season in Alamo Bowl victory over Oklahoma Jed fish riding a high a a big time high Arizona was honestly this close cl to making it to the Pack 12 championship game and the final Pack 12 championship game um they depart obviously it was it happened all during the off season last year a big departures uh and big conference realignment for a lot of schools and there were one of them going to the big 12 uh different conference different alignment Jed fish leaves to go to the Big 10 the coach at Washington to replace Ken deer who went to Alabama who replaced Nick sabbin a lot of coaching Carousel moves that I just mentioned right there you're thinking whoa as you're seeing me on YouTube with a mind blown uh hands it's it's a lot to process it really is it's a lot to process when it comes to coaching care of cells but Brent Brennan took the job he is more than ready and rocking and rolling and ready to go for uh the Pack 12 they may be I'm sorry the Big 12 rather they may be a dark horse they may be a dark horse for uh for you know this conference or the Big 12 a lot of people are going to favor uh Utah and Kansas State and Oklahoma State those three teams I am one of them uh I I I'm G to tell you now early on I like Utah uh but we're going to uh dive deep into that uh later on in the next few weeks with Conference standing projections we're going to talk about that here later on but let's dive into their spring results uh new everything's new besides the players of course but everything staff's new culture's new I wanted to see how the culture under Brent Brennan was going to be um and I we got that I thought I think we got that with Brent Brennan um I think we got got a taste of how how the culture is going to be under BR Brennan and it's exciting a lot of players are motivated to play for him he's a motivating coach he's a passionate coach he loves to coach football he loves to develop players and try to make them the best players on and off the field that they can be and that's the coach that you want to play for so uh I like Brent Brennan I like what he what he did and he showed a little bit of his culture and how he's handling everything in this spring game and that's that's the number one thing that I liked about the Arizona spring and spring results I liked how the culture was different I like how it shifted and I like how everybody was motivated and ready to play for him that is like I said that's the coach that you want to play for in all aspects of the game on both sides of the ball on all sides of the football on and off the field that's the coach that you want to run through a brick wall for it's a guy that wants to develop you and a guy that wants to be there for you and that's what Brett Brenan is so uh shout out to him culture looks really really good there uh number two and number two that uh I liked was that Noah faid uh is still that guy he is still the starting quarterback for the Arizona Wildcats he is the most underrated quarterback uh in this season and probably the prospects going into the draft next year no faid is that guy he is a solid passer he's got a little bit of speed on him which is can help in a high octane offense in Arizona run last year they're looking to run it this year as well um no fa is that guy he dropped a lot of Dimes in this spring and he looks good he's the clear-cut starter for this offense in my opinion he's that dude for this team and I like Noah F I like the decision- making I like the crisp the crisp passing the accurate passing and what he did in this game he looked good he looked like he was one of the most underrated uh prospects and most underrated look prospects uh in Co in in college football so in the Big 12 for sure everyone's going to be focusing on uh ay Johnson everyone's gonna be focusing on the the outstanding red Shar freshman from Kansas state they're GNA be focusing on uh shadur Sanders in Colorado they're gonna be focusing on cam Rising who I mean who wouldn't focus on cam Rising um and they're gonna be focusing on Bowen from Oklahoma State but keep an eye on keep an eye on uh Noah faid from Arizona keep an eye on him keep an eye on uh what he's going to do in the Big 12 and what he can pres what he can bring to the conference and in college football in general so keep an eye on him he looked really really good I liked his development he looks like a clear-cut starter for this Wildcat football team so that's number two that I like from their spring results uh number three number three I liked how physical both sides of the ball were I think they were very physical uh I thought losing some of that edge and toughness that Jed fish brought to the table was going to be a concern um but Brent Brennan is a tough coach and he preaches physicality so I like both sides of the ball I think offensively they look good I think defensively they look good as well they present good toughness and bring Elite toughness or or one of the elite toughness uh to this to this you know to the game I like Arizona and how they looked in the spring game and how tough they looked on both sides of the ball I think physicality was is a must especially going into the Big 12 I think you need to be a little bit more physical than you were out west and in the Pack 12 um sad that was their by the way Arizona baseball won their last tournament in the Pack 12 if you need reminding of that uh that's a you know sad thing there but uh it's a remembrance kind of thing so anyway rather let's talk about this uh not to get all choked up about the pack well but um yeah uh Arizona uh Arizona uh they look good on both sides of the ball um defensive coordinator Dwayne Aina he looked really really good coaching this team on defense the defenses look fired up they look ready to go and they look tough so I like the physicality for both both sides of the ball uh for both for you know the offense and defense of this football team so those are the three things that I liked from Arizona and this Wildcat football team um a few things that I didn't like uh I thought that uh I think the corner the secondary spot is kind of concerned a little bit I think they look good but not to the level of uh you know guarding some of these guys uh in Utah uh in Kansas State in Oklahoma State we'll look at some of their schedule and who who Arizona's going to play soon but I think that they they look okay but not to the point where I think they could the way they showed in the spring game they look like they could they they L they miss some they miss some assignments uh I think that's where a a concern um I think it's going to be a concern when you're playing a team like Utah uh especially what you did to last season they're going to look to get some revenge in Salt Lake so I think it's going to be kind of interesting to see where that where how the secondary issues play out I think that's one problem that I you know I think they need they need to clean up um but they looked okay but not to the point where they're at one of the best secondary rooms in college football of course so uh a little bit young so it's okay it it's it's quite okay they'll get it cleaned up it's only Brent Brennan's first year they'll get it cleaned up that's that's one thing that I would clean up though uh heading into this season number two I think the injuries are were catching up to him this spring I think uh McMillan T taroa McMillan did not play the Ty Ro McMillan did not play in this game he was uh he's still gonna play throughout the season hopefully he's back in time but he was hurt he was he was not um medically cleared but it was one of those things where you look and you're like oh man you know like uh you need uh what you need is you know he needs he need to heal relax but it's not a concern what you need is this you need to hear good news on a player like McMillan he's one of the most elite I would say he's get one of the most underlooked and probably uh one of the best wide receivers in the game in my opinion so um you would have to look you would about to be cause of concern if McMillan uh his injury bleeds into fall Camp so you have to watch out for that a lot of other players were also hurt and and not you know you know not you know available um uh a lot of a lot of them were play Jacob Manu linebacker uh quali connley qual Conley a guy who was supposed to replaced Jonah Coleman and he you may see him during the season during the season and hopefully he's all right for fall camp San Jose State transferred running back qu Conley uh Conley he was out um uh uh Wendell Mo left guard was out uh Marquez grow K kbu Louisville transferred even to back uh he was out I think that's what took away some of the secondary fire there so a lot of injuries I think uh hopefully they're all healthy and ready to go by fall and ready to go and this not going to bleed into the 2024 season those are some elite players those are some good players coming to the Wildcat football team for under Bren Brennan so let's see what happens let's see what happens with the wild cats and let's see what what happens going into the fall I had to do a letter grade on Arizona I would probably say I would probably say be just a b not a not a overall you know not a B minus not a B plus just a b a regular b i I think that uh they got some stuff to clean up on I think that they have a a good football team and a team that's going to win some games in the Big 12 but I don't think that they are a A+ level you know right up there talent I think they are uh kind of a little bit leaning more towards middle in the middle right now um and that's okay it's brand Brennan's first year and I think that's a good really kind of good start right now for Arizona as they transition into the Big 12 and as they transition under Brent Brennan's uh new regime there as head coach so A B is what I would think would be good for Arizona uh that is that was Arizona spring and that was Arizona spring results and uh let's see what happens for the Wildcats during fall it's 18 minutes into the show we got you know we got three more teams to discuss so let's move along here uh let's talk about our second team let's talk about Washington Jed fish is the new head coach speaking of Arizona going bleeding into Washington Jed fish formerly at Arizona is the new head football coach at Washington replacing kayin AER who went to Alabama to replace Nick Sabin so um Washington coming off of a incredible season incredible offense under Michael pennick Jr under Kellin neau under Jamarcus Shepard and under uh under Ryan grub under a lot of those guys under Rome M duny A lot of those guys playing on the field jayen McMillan Jaylen pulk I mean a lot of those guys jack Westover Dylan Johnson a lot of those guys who are now off to the NFL and were now gone from Washington there's some guys who were still there uh but a lot of guys who were either hit the portal or you know you know went to the NFL so uh Washington got a brand new team uh Jonah Coleman coming in from Arizona at the running back spot to replace Dylan Johnson that's a good pick up for Jed fish in Washington and uh a new and new quarterbacks are in town if you were uh if you're Washington under uh Mississippi State graduate transfer quarterback will roggers I mean that's pretty solid I'm not going to lie right there uh you also got another freshman quarterback and Desmond Williams Jr freshman quarterback uh he's a youngster ready to rock and roll and he showed flashes in this in in Spring early so you got some guys in there that are uh pretty good you got Denzel Burke I'm sorry Denzel Boston rather excuse me picking up the high State player Denzel Burke Denzel Boston Denzel Boston uh who is a red Shar sophomore wide receiver who can look to replace a romad duny or it's even it's going to be harder to replace a romad duny but you can replace one of those guys and be an elite receiver for this Washington offense under Jed fish so uh it's it's it's a good thing right it's a good thing you got some guys in there uh it's going to take some time and development but you got some guys in there so um uh let's talk about their spring they're coming off a national championship season a runner up national championship runner up season and they're looking and they're under a brand new regime first year head coach Jed fish brand new players a lot of their National Championship runner up rather players and Pack 12 championship team players are gone and now they are under a brand new regime going to the big 10 rather a harder conference than they were in last year so let's see what happens with jetfish and this team in you know going to the fall but let's talk about their spring and let's dive deep into their spring some of the things that I lik first thing that I liked I like the quarterbacks I think the quarterbacks are good number one you got Desmond Williams Jr he's a young freshman do I expect him to start probably not I think going into the fall Will Rogers will take that leap and will be a lot better and I think Will Rogers will be the starting quarterback for the Washington Huskies coming up in the 2024 season that's how I view it uh he started in the SEC in Mississippi State he graduated from state had one more year of Eligibility and decided to use it and transfer to Washington so uh showed a lot of flash Desmond Williams Jr did for the future but I think later on as the game went Will Rogers was struggling but then kind of found his own kind of shook off the rust and showed why he was one of the most elite passers in SEC history with a lot of passing records that he held he was one of the most underlook quarterback prospects in the SEC uh it I think it was because they're not trying to knock Mississippi State Mississippi state is a sec school but it was because of the school he played for I think if he would have played anywhere else will Rog would have been talked about because of what he did because of his records I think he would have shined more it was because of the team that he was on uh at in Starkville and I and I like Mississippi State you know I'm not going to sit there and say that they are a team where uh you know they're bad school all that they're great a great school I've been to Starkville I've been to Mississippi State I just think he was underlooked because of the school that he was playing under that's all I was going to say that's all I'm going to say about Will Rogers he is there with he is now there uh at you know Washington he looked good and late and I think he'll we'll expect him to look better as fall Camp hits and as this as you know as we go deeper into the off season so the quarterbacks that I liked I liked him a lot I thought he looked signed I like Teddy Purcell signed as well uh shined as well Teddy Purcell is a good is a good player and he could be a good star maybe in the future at quarterback for Washington as well so uh number two I like the receivers I think the receiver rooms is pretty good still you got Le led by Denzel Boston Denzel Boston played really really good he's got that reach about him and he's a playmaker and that's what they need especially coming off of the losses of Roma duny Jaylen McMillan and Jaylen pulk you need a playmaker at the receiver spot and Denzel Boston could be that guy for the Huskies so I really liked what they did with Denzel Boston they use utilized them in a lot of different areas uh especially on the outside and I think that's a really good spot for Denzel Boston he could be wide receiver one for this team in a hurry so that's number two for me on their spring result for Washington and number three I think they're I think they were I think they're physical I think they're they are a little bit physical on the defensive side of things I think the offensive side of things I'll get to that here in a little bit but I like the defensive side of things a little bit better than the offense I think the defensive line is very physical I really like that and I really liked how they were showing some toughness and that's what Jed fish preaches he preaches toughness he wants him to play tough he wants him to play hard and the defensive line played hard in this game so that's what I really really liked about Washington's uh you know the you know spring game and what I liked you know that was a third and last but not least thing that I liked from Washington so things that I didn't like about Washington talking about the offensive line I think a little bit not physical rather I think they were physical there I think they were physical on the D line not that physical on the o line I need to clean that up a little bit become more physical be ready because there's going to be a lot of teams that they're playing in the Big 10 that are going to be tough teams that they they're going to be tough for them especially on in the line of trench in in the in the trenches in the line of scrimmage at the line of scrimmage in the trenches you got to play physical in that area so o line that's one um I think I think what to me was a lost a little bit in in the secondary Department I think the secondary Department in depth there is going to could be an issue I think they have some good Playmakers but depth in that ISS in that in that area could be a key problem I think they need to probably try to get some more depth soon and add a little bit more and you know just get ready right and get prepared uh in the secondary so I think those are the two things that I really didn't like from Washington but other than that I think the offense looked good I think everything else looked good I think they look physical on the defensive line uh if I had to do a letter grade for Washington I would probably rate it a I'd probably rate it a a a uh C+ C+ B minus going into B leaning more towards B minus C+ going into B minus I think they look good in some areas where they need to clean up on some I I just it's just kind of hard to see them winning or or I would say win not really they're going to win games and they're going to be in it but not really in it to the point where they're going to compete for the playoff I don't I just don't see it I think they lost a lot I think that uh the Big 10 is a different animal at first and I think they need some time to get transitioned and get ready to to play Big 10 football that's just how I view it uh I would say c plus b l more towards B minus is suffice for the Washington Huskies but we'll see how they do in Fall they're Pro they may prove me wrong most likely they will probably prove me wrong so we'll see what happens under Jed fish's Washington come fall Camp let's go to our third team and let's go back to the Big 12 before we go back to the Big 10 to conclude today's episode of pick skin frenzy let's talk about two more teams let's talk talk about the Colorado Buffalo and Deion Sanders and their second season here in Boulder now last season didn't go as play obviously uh if you just want to be you know realistic um let's talk about uh what happened what happened as in let's talk about the 4 and8 season they had it was rough it was rough um they were it was I was buying into the hype early on they were beating T they beat TC in their opener no one saw that coming the the not Washington's last year's runner up but the year before that runner up of the national champion was TCU the national champion runner up of the previous season was TCU and they opened up against Colorado Deion Sanders is Colorado in Dallas Fort Worth they went on the road and beat him 4542 no one expected that to happen everyone was hyped I bought into the hype they beat Colorado State in a thrilling double overtime double to Triple overtime game uh uh it was they beat Nebraska they were three and0 they were ready to rock and roll and then the big Mighty Oregon showed up they were on top of the world who's going to beat us we're going to beat everybody we're going to we're going to spank Oregon we're going to go in let's not get ahead of ourselves Oregon's got a really good football team with a good quarterback in BO Knicks who ended up winning Pack 12 offensive player of the year and a great head coach in Dan Lanning uh who were now in the Big 10 now uh a national Powerhouse in Oregon that Dam Ling's building there um and they were rubbing their cleats on their feet on the Oregon o and auson Stadium big no no for Dan Lanning it kind of ticked Dan Lanning off it made him a little angry he that was where the famous uh pregame speech when he said that they're uh we're fighting for uh they're fighting we're fighting for wins they're fighting for clicks or or we're playing for wins they're playing for clicks or something like that and uh they ended up beating him uh 40 I think 43 42 43 to 7 or 43- three if I'm not mistaken it was it was rough it was a rough game um and Colorado had Dion said they were embarrassed uh they played USC it was starting off hot for USC then then they ended up coming back on USC but USC ended up staying the course and beating Colorado Colorado lost a game a a blew a big lead to Stanford and that's where the losses kept adding up they kept adding up they didn't make it into a bowl game they were 4-8 but it's a big Improvement for where they once were Colorado was 1 and 11 previously before Dion got there so 4 and eight big jump but now they're making it look to to make it look a to make a bigger jump this season try to go to a bowl game try to even make it and win you know double legit games and go probably go to the playoffs that's what they want they want titles that's what they preach shadur Sanders back at quarterback I I'm not really really before I get into that let's talk about uh you know going into this season they got something to prove going into this spring they're ready to rock and roll uh and they're ready to you know add on to to this season and just go into the season here's what I don't here's what I'm not a fan of um I don't really Travis Hunter is a great player I'm not talking about Travis Hunter Travis Hunter is is a two-way player plays 60 minutes he's an absolute an anal he's an absolute animal I think he's one of the best players and he's on the cover of the EA Sports college football 25 video game uh he's on the cover of it rightfully so he plays video games he loves video games and he's a star he's a big- Time college football player G to be a big time NFL player as well good good wide receiver good cornerback he can play corner like nobody's business uh I would expect him to probably play cornerback in the NFL but Travis Hunter solid player solid player all both two-way player play 60 Minutes of football he can do it he can go he's athletic insane out of cardio one of the best in college football but when I think about shadur going number one I just think he's a he's a good play I don't think he's a bad player he's a good player I just don't think he's the number one Prospect in college football uh and in the NFL draft for 2025 you're going to think yeah the you're you're yeah you're probably right or yeah you're wrong but I'm just being honest I just don't really see the hype around him being the number one overall Prospect the only reason why he's getting that love is I think Who the head coach is I think his dad's hyping him up I think that he's a great he he's listen he's a good dad for hyping him up I'm glad he's hyping him up because if I was my son I would definitely hype him up as the number one player who wouldn't but I just think that he's got some developing to do and I think this spring can show that right so let's talk about their spring and let's talk about what uh I did like and didn't like from the spring number one they're loaded at wide receiver uh that's number one for me I like their wide receiver room omaria Miller is a Savage uh Jimmy horn Jr also another guy who was a was an absolute dog uh uh incoming trans ER will Shepard Vanderbilt Vanderbilt wide receiver transfer will Shepard uh who transferred to Colorado is not he did not suit up but he's he's an obsolute animal as well and then you got Travis Hunter on top of that in the mix uh you got a lot of guys uh Lon Wester also another good receiver you got a lot of good players that wide receiver room is deep for Colorado uh and a lot of guys there who can catch a football and can run routes that wi receiver room is loaded especially with the two-way player of Travis Hunter and then you got will Shepard coming in as well so a lot of guys there you got a lot of guys there who are just really really good so if I had to uh you know just say and uh say anything that's what I like that's the number one thing that I liked was how deep their wide receiver room is number two uh I liked I liked how physical they are getting uh I thought I thought last season was a big issue with how physical they were in some games I thought they were playing very physical in this game uh in this practice in this spring game I think both sides of the ball they looked physical and that's what you need to play you need to play with toughness you need to play with grit and they played with that in this spring game so that's what I like on both sides of the ball they both played with grit and toughness on both sides of the football that's number two number three um I really like that they are starting to add some depth to their roster um I I I think I think they're finally starting to add some quality depth like I said the wide receiver room is deep um the running back area is deep the linebacker spot is getting deeper uh they need they need to be a little bit more deep in the secondary but I think they're starting to add some depth in key areas that they need to add some depth in that's what I liked um they showed a lot of depth they showed a lot of grit and toughness and the wide receiver room just looks loaded uh so I think those are the three things that I really liked from Colorado and their spring and spring game here's what I did not like I think that shadur is a good quarterback I think he needs to develop a little bit more still I think that's the that's the one thing that I wanted to see that we missed out on I think he's a solid quarterback uh I just think that he needs to develop in a lot of areas I think some of decision-making he needs to get better at I think he needs to uh make better timely passes uh I think some of his passes are good he's gotten better at that some but I think he still needs to work on that as well I think the decision uh and not only that holding on to the ball for a little bit too long I think need to develop on that as well the development of shadur Sanders needs to happen if you were trying to get him into the F into the top five or even top three in the NFL draft in 2025 so that's number one for me um I I I I think the uh I think the the losses for me also are getting to me a little bit too that's the number two thing that I didn't like about this spring for Colorado is the losses the transfer portal losses I think with players coming in there's some players that they've lost and that's more depth leaving uh guys like Corman mlan who uh just announced actually he is transferring to Florida so Florida gains a good cornerback in the secondary in the SEC so Florida Carman mlan he's going there they lost a good one in him um and a lot of other guys who were leaving to go to other schools I think that's going to be that's a huge issue for Colorado is the the portal losses and the losses for their football program there so I think those are the two things that I didn't really like from Colorado other than that if I had to give them a school letter grade I'd give it a about a B+ I think they look good uh B+ is suffice for them I think they look good in a lot of areas I think need to clean up in a lot of areas mainly in the development of shadur Sanders I think they look good um in a lot of other areas as well though uh Dylan Ed they lost Dylan Edwards uh that's that's another loss for them I just think losses are adding losses and the development of shter senors bring me down to a B+ I think everywhere else it sufficed for me for Colorado uh I don't need to play a little bit more physical as they enter the Big 12 it's going to be a tough conference for them to play in I think they they can do it but they just got to show us and prove and step up a little bit and prove it and we need shur Sanders to play well that's going to be key because a lot of it's going to could could fall on his shoulder so that is uh the spring results and the spring for Colorado and that's what I give them as a B plus last but not least let's talk about one more big 10 team before we conclude today's episode of PK frenzy and wrap up our spring coverage for the past eight weeks Nebraska Corn Huskers and I said that they were they were a surprise team for me because they are a surprise team for me I really was kind of not expecting him to play kind of well but they did play a little bit well I thought they played a lot better than they did in a lot of their games last season they showed some stride and on getting better and improving from last season it's Matt ru's second season as Nebraska's head coach I think they are showing some signs there and they are showing uh and pro and making some strides in leaps uh from last season number one changing the quarterbacks and that is what I'm going to get to in a little bit number two playing with a little bit of toughness so I think that's what I'm going to get to in a little bit but I think some big things there uh are happening in Nebraska that we don't really that we haven't really talked about but I think maybe they're I don't think they're going to win at all but we may need to start talking about him a little bit as they as Matt Ru enters his third year so let's see right number one this is what I like from Nebraska I liked how physical they were they were tough they showed grit I like the physical and toughness from Nebraska I think that's my number one right there number two I really like their I like secondary and I like their linebackers I think they looked tough they looked like they were all they were ready to go on edge they were locking down a lot of plays I they were causing some chaos in a lot of areas I think their linebackers and secondary was doing really really well and caused a lot of uh chaos and blew up a lot of plays so good on the linebackers from Nebraska and secondary those key position groups are a must especially as they were kind of struggling with that uh developing those key position groups they need that so uh and finally number three they needed a quarterback and they found him with Dylan Rola Dylan riola the the Georgia one the one time Georgia commit flipped Nebraska signed in Nebraska now he's Nebraska's quarterback he is a absolute animal he can throw he can make perfect decisions and he's a freshman he is a freshman quarterback he is the clear-cut starter there's no doubt in my mind I think this guy is the best quarterback they've had in a very long time hands down he is the best quarterback that they have had in a very long time in Lincoln Nebraska and they're going to get him with Dylan Rola five star fits the bill with him he throws like a madman he makes perfect he makes accurate decisions uh does he need to clean up some on uh holding on to the ball for a little bit long yeah he does he needs to clean up on on a little bit of stuff but he's a freshman he's going to make some mistakes but in a lot of areas he is he excelled at in the spring game and showed a lot of flashes to me he out of all the quarterbacks that that they they have in the room he's the starting quarterback I would name him starting quarterback right now if I could I think he's the best quarterback that they've got right now I think they he's going to start I think Matt rules is wait until the the fall to name name a starting quarterback but I think he will be the starting quarterback for this team come the 2024 season and season opener for Nebraska so that's the three things that I lik from Nebraska the the one thing that I did not like uh were injuries of course I think the injuries were adding up for Nebraska they there was a lot of key injuries there for the team and I think that's what got to me a little bit uh in this spring I think some of the uh I think some of the style of play they were running I think they need to be a little bit faster when it comes to uh you know a lot of plays I think that in the offense they ran uh I think they need to be a little bit faster I think in Dylan rola's case he's a a quarterback that needs to run a little bit more Up Tempo offense but uh they'll get there I think they'll get there uh those are the two things that I really did not like from Nebraska but overall I liked everything else about Nebraska especially the emergence of Dylan royel at quarterback how physical they were and I really liked um I really like the linebacker and secondary and those skill positions that they have been developed tremendously so what do I think about Nebraska and what do I give them the letter grade I give them an A minus I thought they they did they had a really good spring a really uplifting spring uh I'm not going to sit there and so that they're the national champions I mean who knows in this day and age right but I'm going to sit there and so that they've developed tremendously and I wouldn't be surprised if they catch a few people in games this season so uh Nebraska a minus that's how I view it and that's how I think of you know this spring game so and this spring uh for Nebraska so that just about really wraps it up that was Arizona Washington Colorado's and Nebraska
