who got her back flavor FL ladies damn flavor flave continuing to root for Team USA after Olympic gymnast Jordan Charles was stripped of her bronze medal I'm living the dream come true I always dreamed about being at the Olympics the 65-year-old rapper acted as the Women's Water Polo team hype man throughout the Paris games my duties are are to Hype up the water polo team be in the crowd and be loud you know what I'm saying when they get that midle be proud and now he's now moving over to gymnastics to support Jordan in the most Flavor Flav way possible showing off a custom bronze clock necklace he had made for her on X making sure she leaves the Olympics with something to show for her efforts we got got got G yeah Jordan's been off social media since Saturday after she told her followers she'd be taking a break to focus on her mental health amid the controversy over her bronze medal her mom Gina thanking flavor flave for her writing means the world she's not on socials right now as you can imagine I'll share it with her on Sunday Jordan was asked to give back the medal she earned from the floor exercise final due to a score reversal honestly you got to take it day by day I'm just using every moment that I have just to flourish the 23-year-old gymnast originally placed Fifth and when one of her coaches challenged the judges they agreed to bump her score moving her to third place knocking out Romanian gymnast Anna barbosu Jordan accepted the medal at the event alongside silver medalist Simone biles and Brazilian gold medalist Rebecca Andra I literally look at it and I'm like man that's really me that's crazy I don't even cuz it's like so fast when I do it in the moment but when I rewatch everything I'm just like wow I really did that that's pretty cool but in the days following the Romanian team appealed Jordan's Bronze award saying her score was changed seconds after the one minute deadline it's supposed to be made under the court are Greening and ultimately asking for the medal back oh I just my heart breaks for her you know that's today host Savannah Guthry reacted to the controversy on Monday I mean there was a mistake in the judging they tried to appeal and now they're saying this the 4 seconds it was 4 seconds late and I just I mean I just look at the the heart of the matter you know it's not about her performance about a technicality I wish they'd somehow make it possible for her to keep that medal which she clearly earned you know I feel sorry for the Romanian Jour uh gymnast too so it's just a sad situation all around and I I just wish I think they could make one more bronze medal don't you and many of Jordan's teammates also showing support including Sunni Lee who calls the decision completely unacceptable the US Olympic and Par Olympic Committee announced they planned on filing an appeal in a statement sharing their disappointment we firmly believe that Jordan rightfully earned the bronze medal and there were critical errors in both the initial scoring and the subsequent appeal process that need to be addressed
