and right before debate night we have a trailer for the Donald Trump biopic uh The [Music] Apprentice so little bit of drama going on around this movie's release I could imagine by Design where basically this premiered at some Film Festival earlier this year and basically no Studio wanted to touch it this was a movie premiering going to Market basically for someone to pick it up for distribution no Studio wanted any piece of it because of how divisive it would be mainly because it does make sense um the more I hear about the movie The more it's kind of it's a critique of Donald Trump to put it lightly but it's also not I guess making him a huge villain it's more about um Jeremy Strong's character Roy Cohen Roy con con Cohen Roy Cohen I don't know um but it's more about the Jeremy Strong character and about how he shaped Donald Trump into the monster he is today so it's kind of it's kind of like no no person that hates Trump would want to see this movie um because they just don't want to see a movie about Trump and Trump fans wouldn't want to see this movie either because it's being critical of trump so it's kind of in this weird Zone where they're kind of thinking that this movie is going to bomb and I guess that makes sense from a market executive perspective I just want to see it because it's Jeremy strong strong and Sebastian Stan not the first person I would think to play a Young Donald Trump but I don't know Sebastian Stan can just fit into a lot of different things you know he has that look uh and when you see the pictures yeah I could see it I mean he's doing a young Trump a little bit of a service you know he's definitely better looking than a young Trump but yeah now we got the trailer I'm going to see this movie I can't wait to see Jeremy Strong will this be any kind of awards Contender probably not but who knows um yeah I'm I'm excited I want to see this and it I'm recording this on 910 at just about 8:00 pm an hour before the debate so this is this is fitting yes hello this is Donald Trump uh from Mr cone thank you so much Donald who how does one play Trump I mean the voice so oh man I'm not saying I'm not even saying that that voice sounds bad but you can tell he's he's putting on a like the vo and oh man how do you Sebastian Stan is such a good actor man that must be such a challenge like how do you approach this Roy nice to meet you the Roy con from all the papers yeah you're brutal guilty is charged Roy col is a crook he's been indied Jeremy Strong is fantastic too three times I'm going to let you in a little secret people they hire me because I'm a winner how do you win the first I don't know anything about this director please tell me that's a real outfit this guy wore um but so far looks very like the snap zooms and zoom outs it kind of definitely looks documentary is true is the simplest attack attack attack it's going to be the finest building in the country in the world it's going to be spectacular rule two admit nothing deny everything you think you can beat the US government rule three no matter what happens you claim victory and it it I could see this where even though it's very critical of him and clearly I I hear there's a very um controversial um assault scene in this movie I could see where obviously it's not praising him but it's kind of mythologizing the man which yeah I just want to see Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong never admit defeat I record everything in case I need it well that's illegal you have to be willing to do anything to anyone to win there are two types of people there are winners and there are losers you're over it's definitely capturing like the godess of those early 2000s where's like the the helicopter oh my God yeah look at this look so '90s there are two types of people there are winners and there are losers you're over leverage and have Deb up to your ears I know what I'm doing have a look at yourself you're getting ugly don't you forget I made you we have a brand new campaign slogan let's make America great again H oh I like the Again part is it really go all the way to that did he get that from something else I don't know why does this look like I don't like this logo this logo looks like the maybe it's matching with the with the gold gudy tone it it looks like the sign to a to a chain [Music] restaurant this could be interesting what is the director done I don't know this director Iranian Danish filmmaker I think it it almost makes sense for this being a story not coming from someone American like an outside look that that almost seems more appropriate for something like this yeah I mean I I just want to see Sebastian Stan winning Oscar somehow God could you imagine winning an Oscar for playing Donald Trump that's so like You' have to do the the the uh you know um why do I always blank on his name God he's one of my um holy Christian Bale why do I always forget his name when I'm recording Christian Bale um do the do the Christian Bale thing when uh he won the Golden Globe where uh for Dick Cheney and he and he thanks Satan like he'd have to do something like that right but yeah it'll be cool [Music]
