from I don't even know exactly what the um but it's yeah I don't think he's actually play for Oliver glna but he a player that Oliver glasner apparently according to reports once anyways um so he has played in European competitions though which is a plus um as mentioned before he is 30 years old uh so a bit younger than kic but pretty much they're they they're similar age experienced players and left midfielder slash uh left wing back um so main you know as a player down the left hand side um that you know has got few goals um he's actually scored 25 goals uh for Atlanta in 121 appearances which for a left midfielder SL left win back that's a lot of goals 25 um which is encouraging at Union Berlin he scored six and 30 and for Inter Milan 3 and 32 he seemed like he can find the net which is very encouraging that's what you want from left back question though I mean you've been talking about it what would don't you prefer a right wing back as opposed to left wing back cover what do you prefer honestly no we we need both I don't think there's a preference for me right wi back isn't okay yeah well we need we need to strength from both areas we need to strength from both areas so let's get this done and sorted and hopefully we push for it now within the next well there isn't much time left till the window shuts anyways and then focus on that right wing back position even though I am like Archie Brown uh Patrick who is playing um over in Belgium um we've seen the success with mun as well for me look I think the pros and cons are both younger and older backup options um you mentioned Teo potentially even though you mentioned Teo surely if Teo was seen maybe a bit more of a serious option would he have not gone to a better Club than he's gone to on loan this summer would he have not got more opportunities when we've needed him to I don't know I I really don't know the future of T at the football club so for me that's why I'm not really looking at oh we need a older player so T can 100% come through I've red him in the past um but something's clearly gone on um during that time even though he looked good in preseason as well in a few appearances that he's made um but Archer Brown is a young option look I have no problem with either one of them um Archie Brown it means that we have a younger player that if Mitchell was ever to leave I'm not saying he will leave um you know a player that hopefully can step up and that could that could push Mitchell and with cson I believe that is a player that you know a few years experienced player that's played in European competitions that's played in different countries in Europe that can help us push forward as well so I think it's a win-win situation we just need someone Patrick don't you think just someone rather than particular names at this point no I agree we need someone either left or right back but I'm gonna say it again I've said it and I'll say it until the my I'm bleue in the face there is no there's no guarantee you have to go out and loan to play in our first team Mitchell did not go out and Loan ju did not go on Alan so you don't have to I mean I know what you're saying I get ideally of course you want to if you want to do it properly right you want to go League one Championship first team right ideally well we've never done it that way any of our any of our fullbacks that have gone into the first team they've won right from the academy to first team so I know what you're saying D but I don't think Tay has to go to Championship side in order to jump from that to the first team ideally of course I want that that way because that would be a progression I want to see but I'm just saying to you that I don't think we have to have that kid go to let's say you know Chef United next season they sit in the championship and then go to first team in 2026 I'm saying that it can't he can make that leap if he's good enough if he's good enough I don't know but I'm saying you don't have to have that progression great team better teams do that you know you see mancy does that all the time with their Academy players Chelsea do that don't sell them off to whomever but we don't do that so I'm just saying I don't think that's necessarily a progression you have to have and no fees have been mentioned G there's a comment there anything's been mentioned for both of these players no fees have who we've known all along is reportedly uh willing to sell his shares in Palace and today we have another update from David onstein a very reliable source is that he has entered a period of exclusive rights to pursue the Everton takeover um deal he's recently signed agreements um with the Everton owners uh but completing the deal depends on factors including the S Crystal Palace Patrick you've been very vocal about John texter um you've you you've liked what he's done to the football club as well as many others here as well what's your thoughts on this it seems like John Texar surely now will be push to you know get out of the football club so sooner over the later we might hear new potential owners out the football club because it's not it's not like he owns 5% so I think it'll be quite significant in terms of the bigger Outlook as well I mean I read an article or saw something today from Paris that said he's working closely with um Texa to get this deal done listen sooner it's done the better again I have no issue with Texa leaving I have no problem with him being here but this has to get resolved this is getting boring now it's not helping us in any way it can't be helping us in the back in the background so the sooner this is done the better all I'm going to say is I'll say it again I'm not trying to be funny either be careful what you wish for that's all I'm going to say I don't know who the new own players players are going to be whoever it's going to be whoever the new so not players new ownership's going to be but I'm just saying just be careful what you wish for it could be someone that doesn't get along with um Parish hopefully gets along with Parish great and it works out great but God forbid he doesn't because we don't need issues in the background distant from the football club and we have to make sure we get and he did mention as well that he was more control which we cannot offer right now Crystal Paris football club and you know that new potential owners of course they'll have the conversations and they'll go from there of course they'll they'll talk with each other Patrick it's not like someone going to come and take Texas shares without speaking to parish and the other owners about the future of the football club the plans um which do look promising right now anyways yeah but Tex T took over he spoke to parish and Harrison bit about his plans he they knew what he wanted to do they knew he wanted multi Club I don't I don't think T I think Texa he's even said it in athletic in in his interviews he he has had regret I don't know if that move came a bit too early I know he spoke to Parish but I don't think he was involved in football so you know it was his first move right Palace was his first move then afterwards he ended up going for boto and Leon I think I think Leon was first and then he did the whole Eagle remember he supposed to buy but he was doing but he doing benf at the same time that eagle name came from Eagle eagle holding benf but and Benfica and Benfica at the same time didn't Ben fell through so but the first team yeah so I think I think that was a bit of inexperience and Texa kind of regretted the decision of course he wants more of control say and Everton um orbe it I know they've got their financial troubles it's another Premier League Football Club and he's willing to take charge of you know of a club do that that he can that he can run so I think those conversation will be had I think maybe Parish learns from this as well with Texar um Tex will learn from it and then the next potential owners before they do join the football club look this is how we operate these are plans this is what we want yes you can buy Texas shares but will you be happy with this I think those conversation will be had and if they are then let's go ahead the biggest thing Patrick now is who is it who is who are these new is because there were reports that were mentioning that Texas of course wants itself for a profit now I don't know whether this Everton agreement maybe changes his mind and he quickly wants out of the football club but that based on reports previous reports ruled out Harrison Blitz are buying his shares so that makes more interesting doesn't it in terms of who actually comes into the football club because there's I mean you never know it can be the Far East it could be from the West there's a lot of people who want interesting Premier League football clubs and he's got decent Amano shares 45% well that's I'm going to ask you he's the majority shareholder he owns more shares than yeah than Parish Harrison Blitzer you said whoever wants to come is going to understand let me ask you a question 45% that come into a club and have basically uh very little say who's doing that bro who's doing that well there were 14 I I think someone will do that okay the reason why the reason why they will is regardless of what we think about parish and sometimes you agree I disagree you know a game of opinions um one thing is that he has made us a stable Premier League football club we can do bit more to push on etc those debates can be had but for for other owners they might want to come in and say you know what this guy has 5% of the of the of the say but we are heading in the right direction Paris mentioned it the last week of the academy facilities done in September the work is already started for the new stand so it's not like C parish is running a football club and is absolutely terrible we are fans of course have different expectations to what owners have and that's natural owners will you know see this as a business how can we grow this business and parish is doing the right thing so it just depends on who it is depends on who it is and eventually I think Parish will want to be bought out and Harrison Blitzer too because we've heard about Harrison Blitzer as well you know they're not shying away from potentially sening in the future so I know what you're saying and I'm not saying P has done a bad job I'm not saying the person buying coming in is going to say he's done a bad job what I'm saying to you is that you're putting up a lot of money get 4 45% of a club which you're going to have very little say I'm just saying myself I can't imagine who that's going to be I'm not saying a person don't exist in the world world has a lot of different people that's a lot of money to put up look at the look at the clubs you see now Bournemouth got sold to the American that guy had a lot of say do you know what I mean I mean you don't come into a club and have no very little say in a club it doesn't happen that way unless you're a minority shareholder this person going to be the majority shareholder in this club and not and they have Parish all the decisions with that golden shirt I just don't see I'm not saying it can't be done I think it might get broken up into pieces 25% here maybe 10% and 10% but 45% of of a club and have little say I can't see it unless it's a friend of parishes maybe you has a billionaire friend out there I don't know but I'm G trying to be funny to me it's gonna be a hard sell for me A Hard last week or two weeks ago that we mentioned on here of course um that you know there are there are like around 14 potential investors interested in Palace 14 is quite a bit it's quite a bit some of them of course will be consortiums um maybe individuals so so of them just now has to 14 is decent amount on number then and they will know the situation of course they will know the situation at P it's not like they won't know about parish and how the club operates so let's see one of the 14 in if they step up now so you're right but this is he's been involved in wanting to buy Chelsea and Bal got Chelsea Man United and Indios bought bought Man United and he's been involved with Everton now for like the third or fourth time at some point if he doesn't if he doesn't get Everton he not and I'm not like I need to see it with S I think it's still good I replacement but he's going to be playing in a position which is not used to as like a number 10 bit more Central rather than out wide with mun's offering that width he might need a bit of an adjustment period And I think he's got his strengths and I'm not saying he's a bad player but even funny enough I was I was doing this debate with him and then I think few days later in the sky sports interview and glaza mentioned him as a striker I see him developing more into a striker than that number 10 position that we have um because I don't know I just yes he can switch it on and he can have that player but he's not really you know like a m type of player do you understand what I'm trying to say in terms of the creativity oh he's not that player at all I think I definitely can see um him becoming more of a striker I listened to what um um was said about him as far as a striker remember the goal that um Mata scored against manc that won put the ball in behind and Mata ran on to and scored when we went up one when we went up one and get home that's kind of that's the kind of ball I'm expecting s r on to playing either out wide or as a stri I really thought yeah I don't see him playing he's he's not he's not like even Kamar or even e he's not that kind of a player but I can see him really being more of a getting behind the the defense and playing ball into in behind we got players that can do that won can play that ball as say Kamar so I think s will be honestly more more of a striker so which is fine with me I got no problem with that we could use we're going to need an uh uh you guys talking about the other day about changing up a little bit you know what do we do differently if teams are playing a certain way like a high line for instance fo over over the top to sort of run on to so I got that's why I'm saying that's why I'm not that's why I would like to see like a player like M um I agree we we need another play behind Kam for me that just gives me that conf imagine mad coming off the bench imagine kamada and mad pushing each other like that is proper depth there with s I'm not saying it isn't but as a number 10 I don't know I need to see it I need to see it people I need to see it he's a good IU replacement but yeah I just don't know if he's got that that creative aspect to his game the funny thing was he was actually linked to being a WL which makes more sense because wol played out more wide was yeah more wi rather than that Central creative number 10 player but we wanted him for years and let's see what Dogg's cooking and glna can do with him but I think it's going to be most likely up front and saying does gay he's saying he doesn't think he's a superstar a a hint that we're
