Hello. I'm nine news. Weather impacting meteorologist Kathy Saban, overnight showers and we have the chance for more rain today as the front moves from the northwest to the southeast over Colorado, a secondary wave of cool air will mean not only more rain for our state but a push of cool air will keep temperatures 10 degrees cooler than average in the mid seventies. Today, we'll see the best chance for rain between probably 6 a.m. and about two o'clock in the afternoon. And if you travel, take you out of Colorado, you may run into some issues across the Gulf coast and northern Florida here in Denver and along the front range, we could see anywhere from a quarter to half an inch of rain from this 24 hour weather system which will be long gone later today. So partly to mostly cloudy to start scattered showers off and on between now and about 23 o'clock, heavier showers pushing south during the day. And then we get into a clearing trend with dry air working in on those north. Early winds. Temperatures start in the mid fifties this morning and warm to the mid seventies today. So an early preview of fall. We have mid seventies with rain today. Mid eighties on Friday. Great weekend for football. And we'll get a break from those nineties until Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. There's the possibility we'll see 90 back on our map, which is a little unusual for mid September. We'll have so much more ahead on the networks of nine news. Have a great day. Thank you for watching.
