in the 2024 home opener for Yukon football the Huskies took on the marac Warriors with both teams looking for their first wins of the Season both sides came into this one hungry after scoring a combined 13 points in last week's games yukon's offense came out firing on all cylinders with five first quarter touchdowns by five different players after being held to just one touchdown last week the huskys were more than happy with their offensive explosion but your objective always is get that ball to your Playmakers in space and then let them use their natural ability to go make some you know great plays make something great happen and I think we saw that out of a number of players today with starting quarterback Nick Evers unable to clear concussion protocol backup Joe feno was thrown to the spotlight and he delivered Fano was able to constantly facilitate big plays and efficiently move Yukon down the field he was everything a coach could ask for out of his QB he was ready to go you know he was ready to go last week he was ready to go today and he'll continue to be ready to go that's just who Joe is and that's one of the things we love about him the huskys never looked back after scoring the most points in a quarter in history winning by a final score of 63 to1 17 yukon's 56 first half points was also the most points scored in a half by the school all time the huskys will look to continue this momentum into next week when they take on Duke next Saturday but for now from renchler field I'm Brady levenson uctv Sports [Music] oh
