THE DEBATE LEAGUE IS A PROGRAM SPECIFICALLY FOR STUDENTS WITHIN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY FOCUSED ON TITLE I SCHOOL AND OTHER STUDENTS CAN ATTEND. WE ALLOW THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN DEBATES EVERY MONTH THAT COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES SO THEY CAN PRACTICE PUBLIC SPEAKING AND ATTEND EVENTS LIKE THIS . >> IT'S IMPORTANT BECAUSE STUDENTS HAVE A VOICE. TO BE ABLE TO GALVANIZE THAT WE WANT THEM TO HAVE THE ABILITY TO RESEARCH AT SPEAK ON TOPICS THEY ARE EAGER TO SPEAK ABOUT AN IMPORTANT TO THEM. WE WANT THEM TO BE ABLE TO HEAR THE OTHER SIDE OF AN ISSUE I KNOW WHAT THE ISSUES ARE AND BE ABLE TO SPEAK ON THOSE AS WELL . >> OKAY. LET'S GET TO THE NITTY-GRITTY. WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR ? WE NEED TO MAKE SURE EDUCATION ESPECIALLY PUBLIC EDUCATION THEY HAVE THE MOST FUNDING BECAUSE THIS IS THE ROAD TO SUCCESS . ANY CHILD THAT HAS THIS ANYONE ANYWHERE SHOULD MAKE SURE THAT THEY HAVE AN EQUAL CHANCE AT SUCCESS ANYWHERE . >> YOUR 15 YEARS OLD? >> YES. YOU CAN'T VOTE YET.
