cam Hayward gets a new deal with the Steelers and people were wonder what cam Hayward get a new deal before the regular season because we know the Steelers don't discuss contracts during the regular season and days before the regular season cam Hayward and the Steelers agree upon a threeyear $45 million deal and if you look at it at Cam's age this will probably be be it for cam you know that's probably why he wanted multiple years in a contract uh to solidify his career with the black and gold you know it'll be hard to see cam Hayward in another uniform playing with another franchise you know even though there was the Cleveland thing but he quickly you know cleared that up you know saying he could never do that uh cam is a leader you know uh great locker room presence you got guys like uh keano B and such that will that are going to learn from cam that's learning from cam as we speak you know that's going to take over uh when cam retire when that time do come you know three more years at cam so he's going to be here you know for a little bit more and uh contracts with guys like cam you know Cam's age uh cam dealing with you know some injuries last year and things like that you know the father time thing and um that's why contracts with guys 35 years of age is kind of hard you know especially at that position with Cam plays um because some players you know they feel like hey I did a lot and cam did do a lot you know in a black and gold uniform and uh when you get to this point it's like hey I did a lot I deserve but it's not about what you've done you know because you have already been compensated for what you've done in the past it's about uh what the franchise is going to get out of this contract coming up you know you're going to have to fulfill the contract as well it's not one-sided uh about what the player wants it's about what the organization gets as well so you know it's good to see uh the Steelers and cam Hayward come to an agreement like I said because it was it would be hard to see cam Hayward playing uh with another franchise and another uniform man because he's just that much you know means that much to the black and gold to the franchise to the locker room and all that good stuff man uh cam Hayward standup guy great player and all that good stuff so you know it's all it's all over you know the Saga to cam Hayward what's going to happen with Cam will he get a new deal um is he going to play you know for somebody else at the end of the year if that you know you don't want to even have that that thought in your mind you know the Steelers probably you know they don't want to have the thought of their mind either either you know because they know how much Cam Hayward means to them you know my opinion on that but uh it's good that it got done you can get that out the way you know um there's always uh other things that's going to come up in a season but uh the cam Hayward contract is not going to be one of them because he signed a 3year 45 milon do contract extension with the Steelers New Deal whatever you call it Cam's here to stay for 3 more years what do you guys think about that let me know in the comments and uh here we go thanks for watching the video make sure to subscribe to the channel and hit the notification Bell to get all the new videos and until next time I'm out for [Music]
