Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, is
making headlines with a heartfelt message despite her ongoing cancer treatment. While
she's been keeping a low profile lately, Kate recently took to social media to congratulate
Dwayne Fields, the new UK Chief Scout. On September 6, Kate posted on Instagram
Stories, celebrating Dwayne's new role. "Delighted to welcome @dwaynefields as the new
UK Chief Scout," she wrote. "The Scouts is an amazing organization, teaching #SkillsForLife
and helping young people across the country." Dwayne Fields, known for being the first
Black Briton to reach the North Pole in 2010, took over from Bear Grylls as Chief Scout
on September 5. In a video, he expressed his excitement about his new role and his commitment
to supporting communities nationwide. "I will do everything I can to help every single community
learn those important skills for life," he said. Bear Grylls, who previously held
the position, also praised Dwayne. "Dwayne will be incredible, and Scouts
will continue to thrive," Bear commented. Kate's post is a rare public statement
as she gradually returns to public life after undergoing abdominal surgery in January
and revealing her cancer diagnosis in March. Although she’s stepped back from many
duties, she has made a few appearances, including a family outing near King Charles
III's Balmoral estate and a supportive message for the British Paralympic
team ahead of the Paris 2024 Games. Kate's words of encouragement show
her continued support for important causes even as she navigates her own
health challenges. Thanks for watching
