Governor Josh Shapiro has signed an executive order re establishing the State Office of Gun Violence Prevention. It was initially created in 2019. Under Governor Tom Wolf. Under the order, the office will create an advisory group of national states and community violence prevention experts develop a gun violence prevention plan for Pennsylvania and work to improve services and support for gun violence victims.
