sportscast for our second talking Kentucky college sports cast postgame show of the year and I thought this one was going to be a little bit different uh than it is tonight the cats lose um I don't even know what the final score was Brad because I don't really care all I know is that we scored six points we didn't score a tou down and that sucked so there you go pathetic absolutely pathetic showing um everybody that is associated with Kentucky and with that team should be ultimately embarrassed um like you have recruits there basketball recruits are there football recruits are there National TV this was the very first game of the newc contract on ABC this was the very first game on ABC and this is what you put out for the world to see once again at home and I'll be honest with you guys I got several Rants and y'all are going to be in for it tonight because I am going to let some stuff loose I thought there was a chance that we would lose the game I thought there was a chance we would lose the game honestly I thought we were going to win I thought it was going to be a blowout I saw that 10-point spread I was like yeah give me the cats plus 10 doesn't matter you can put it plus 11 plus 12 plus 15 I don't care I'm taking the cats because I thought South Carolina looked a against Old Dominion um and I thought we were going to cover the spread thought we're going to win handily I thought there was maybe a chance that we would lose I could see it as a possibility but Brad I didn't see it as a possibility that we would go in today and get absolutely blown out I'm just gonna go and say Brad I think that was the worst performance of The Mark stuts era I I can you think of the perance of the Mar in the Mark Stoops area absolutely let me let me turn my head around I'm I'm I'm BW to the through and through I'm just going to tell you guys that all my life but I'm G tell now I had my win Tucky shirt on today we didn't win Tucky today I had win Tucky I'm gonna tell you guys right now I'm gonna call Mark Stoops out right this minute Mark Stoops you have been on these rants on on some of these press conferences and radio shows and all this crap about nil and having you know it's that it's too much you've been calling for money from fans I'm G tell you right now the fans were there go watch SEC Nation the fans are ready for some damn football the [ __ ] you just put out on the field was embarrassing as hell and I don't want to hear not one more time come out of your mouth not one more time do I want to hear a damn thing about the fans supporting Kentucky football until you put a damn product on the field that's worthy of some damn people supporting your ass I'm serious right now I don't want to hear another damn word come out of your mouth hey are are you free next year you you want to come over to want to come over to Lexington next year John I mean got screwed today they put up a touchdown with 12 seconds to go and they called an offensive interference that was right on the line of scrimmage the guy has to get off the line John sumerall got screwed today it was gonna be a tie ball game I don't know if they would have won but they're going up against K State and put up a damn showing the [ __ ] that we continue to put out on the field in Big Time situations Big Time tv situations Big Time games the product that we are putting on the field is pathetic pathetic it's pathetic absolutely insanely pathetic Brad I think you I think you should run for pres you got some people down here in the comments saying go Brad let me tell just exactly how pathetic it was do you guys know that for two quarters in the second and the third quarter we had zero zero completions it's Man Zero Zero I can do that yeah [ __ ] I'll be 50 put me on the field I can do that joh Jared well says I've always been on the fence about STS always felt like he's W while a lot of the programs in the old SEC East were at a down period this is just further proof of that cannot compete when it matter zero excuses yeah man like I'm as big of a mark stops fan as any out there know me they know that I that I absolutely love Mark stops I love Mark stops I love Mark stops that but I was for the first time maybe ever mad at him today Brad because they were not ready to play on any front today it it was an EXC they don't their execution was pathetic they wasn't ready under any circumstance stance I mean it we had and and I'll be honest with you I quit watching in the fourth quarter so I don't know exactly what we wound up with but with about 10 minutes to go we' given it up four sacks and nine tackles for loss nine that's 13 negative plays and this is the thing this is the thing from last year it's really coming back to haunt Brad I mean it it came back to haunt him last year but especially you know even now Brandon says mark sup's telling us to Pony up right comments that I was talking about when I started this rant yep the the pony up comments are still coming back to to to Haun Brad because as we said last time you were on the show and even last week's post game this might be on paper the most talented Kentucky football roster we've ever had certainly in the Stoops era and yet look look at what happened today right look at what happened today I I don't even know where to begin when it comes to that it should be one of the more talented teams yep overall teams that we have ever that we have had in since the 70s let's just put it that way it should be however you got to get your team prepared to play ball on National stages and I'm gonna take this even a step further if you watch my show on college sports cast I have been calling like And subscribe for this Kentucky I'm sick and tired of watching these cats my cats and watching them suck and I mean suck at home in the SEC yep after today we are two and E in our last 10 home SEC games Mark is that right we're two did you two and eight two eight in our last 10 home secc games Mark the pony up [ __ ] is for you yep it get works way Pony up these damn players and get them prepared to play home games in the SEC if you can't do that then it's time for you to pack your bags and leave Lexington I'm not ready for you to go I'm not I think you've recruited on a level that we have NE have not seen in 40 years Brad uh or Jared has a comment here two wins against team with winning records since 2013 Brad is that right two wins yeah with that's man that's so hard to believe dud so we have we've won two games against teams with winning records since has been here this is in the SEC in the SEC that's not counting the Louisville games and stuff that we have won because we've beat them a times with winning records but still still though man it's it it's it's bad it was bad today this isn't even talking about teams with winning records South Carolina is not going to have a winning record in the SEC guar Dam it I will guar Dam it right now while I'm sitting here you know I saw you know I saw them play last week and I don't care how good they look today Brad I still don't think South Carolina's good I think we're bad yeah I just think we're bad do you know and Brad like I'm not a football expert you know much more about football than me um you you can look at a team and kind of kind of tell these things more than I can but like I saw so many times us put pressure on the quarterback and we just weren't able to bring them down and like when we knocked the ball loose and we weren't able to pick up the fumble like it's it's embarrassing BR sellers is like 64 65 and 242 243 I mean he he doesn't have the size of a normal quarterback but having said that you still got to get his ass to the ground but no we we got to we we've get we got these like you know Maxwell Harrison these guys like get to the quarterback right and put hands on them why can't you bring them down like if you can R we got all these guys that are faster and bigger than him that can bring him down and they don't that that's just so frustrating to me like we get to the quarterback and we don't we don't finish like we so many things though Coleman I mean my Lord like we have uh a a a fourth and one and they line up specifically to draw us offline off sides yeah this was right after the half second their second possession we had them stopped instead of them punting they they line up to draw us off sides off sides and guess what they do because we're undisciplined yep what do we do we jump off sides they go on to score the touchdown and go up 17 to six that's how they got that touchdown Chris Chris has three strip sacks and zero recoveries yeah that that to me that's what I'm saying got like that to me is the most frustrating thing three strip sacks and zero recoveries that to me is everybody in the stadium everybody that was watching knows what South Carolina is doing they know they're doing a hard snap count to draw them off sides everybody anybody that knows football knows that's exactly what they're doing Chris says 18 consecutive 18 consecutive run plays is that right did we run 18 consecutive run we had 11 on one on on one uh possession so and then we had a few more so yeah but I mean the the problem is is we couldn't drop back our offensive line and I'll get into this too we had some injuries today and I'm pissed off about that this is our house I'm gonna start doing what I'm gonna start beating the table just like the like Brian Kelly this is our house we got to be the physical team you don't let South Carolina come in here and manhandle you I'm sick of watching these damn teams come in to our stadium and wear us the hell out not only on the scoreboard but physically es especially especially South Carol Greg says was there even one pass to the tight ends today I'm going to go with no Brad I I mean we couldn't even Dro back every time we dropped back there was a tackle for a loss or a sack or a rush I mean I was I mean hell I could do a damn better job so let's talk about that Brandon says um offensive line was badly coached what do you think it is Brad do you think it's like just physical like Talent do you think it's coaching the the offensive Lama is obviously bad today but what do you think's the culprit there I mean we changed coaches and and and and Eric the new coach is has been a good offensive line coach now Jagger Burton got hurt meny got hurt I mean they put in the red sharp freshman crease for a few minutes and lo and behold he was pathetic just to be honest he was a red shirt freshman first time being out there in that kind of situation but he was pathetic they had to take him out they put our backup uh guard Dylan Ray at at right tackle while miny was out then Burton got hurt and they had to move him back to guard I mean but here's my thing this is what pisses me off why is it that Kentucky is the one that always gets out physical we shouldn't we're we're supposed to be the guys that are physic why is it that when we match up with these SEC teams last year at Georgia 14 players got hurt tonight today this afternoon John Som I'm telling you I'm gonna tell you right now you know this afternoon I bet you we had plays stopped and people you know helped off the field we probably had six seven eight players helped off the field how many did they have why are we the ones that's being out physical all the damn time Claud said Claud says us to message John SRO Brad what do you think if I were to message John Sall what what would what should I say should I say he proba piss right now I don't think I would message him because he got screwed today you think maybe tomorrow I can message him and say hey but I don't think I would do it today because I'm John somra is a fiery guy I don't know if you know much about him I'm gonna say he's pissed today oh I bet I bet he is too but but to be fair we're pissed too who do you think's more pissed you think we're more pissed or you think John somal is more pissed BR who you think's more pissed fans are here probably but I'm gonna be honest with you I'm beginning to wonder where the fire is I'm just being honest with you guys to wonder where the fire is because I don't see it just got a Vince Marl just got the Rays right he's 1.3 million tries to have all that Moxy and swag and all that stuff and it means jack [ __ ] if you can't go out there on the field and actually prove something yep it don't mean jack [ __ ] I'm sorry but I love it you know but I I love those guys Brad it's so it's so that's why this is so hard because I'm so invested in UK football I've said several times on the show that I I might even be more of a football fan than a basketball fan which is weird for Kentucky uh Kentucky guys I told Drew Franklin that the other night I was like Drew I might be more of a football guy than a basketball guy I love UK football Drew and I were talking on Thursday night how we were going to kick South Carolina's ass today and it didn't happen and it's just it just sucks Brad like I don't want to be mad at these guys I don't want to be mad at Vince and Stoops and all that but it's hard not to be when you see that performance today a a performance like today and I'm dead serious Stoops has got to walk in that damn locker room and he's and I'm I'm dead serious he's got a clean house yep I'm serious as a heart attack I I have been on board with him keeping his guys but after performance like this he's got to clean house he's got to do something so let let's try let's try to talk a little bit of football here um let's Brock Vander Griff didn't look good um do you think that's on Brock Vandergriff or do you think it's on the o line Brad like what what do you what do you think was pathetic I mean let's just call it like it is the o line was pathetic all right yeah I'm not I I told you last week that I wasn't happy with the play calling I wasn't happy with all of those jet sweeps yeah there's a reason for that that shit's not going to work in the SEC yeah it don't work and I'm not saying that you can't run them at all but you certainly can't run 14 jet sweeps in one damn game you might catch them off you know catch catch them not paying attention and hit one one a half or something on them but I'm gonna tell you right now that [ __ ] the SEC is too fast These Guys these players are too fast you cannot run that kind of offense today in the first quarter first half they come out they tried to run a few of those jet sweeps and what happened they blew up they blew up the play every time there was one where they were trying to do one to Barry and brown that come across and he got blown the hell up on the plate yeah and Brock had to take it back and keep it and and went up field for like two yards and they were literally coming to do that damn Jet Jet Sweep and before he could get the ball on the snap how quick it was he got blown up you canot do that consistently in the SEC I don't I don't care where you come from Bush I'm talking to you that is never going to work in the SEC if you want to catch somebody off guard with a play but you cannot line up consistently and do something like that this is this is Kentucky this is SEC it's just not going to work and usually usually we put up a fight you know at least Brad with these stops teams and and and uh you know at least at least we're physical and and we put up a fight even against South Carolina in recent years we play like this we're getting beat a hundred to nothing next week well yeah that's that's a whole another conversation but Mara says uh I couldn't watch anymore totally embarrassing um BR I can't remember the last time I just wanted to turn a game a mark stops came off I think it was probably Georgia last year probably may turn that game off last year yeah yeah I think that may have been the the last time but it's Georgia right but against a a sec opponent that you can conceivably beat you know that's not Georgia I I can't remember the I mean it's just all I can tell you guys as fans is welcome to Kentucky football that's all I'm GNA say because this is what we do this is what we are we we climb a little bit we fall back we we become mediocre we become terrible this game and I told Coleman this before we on the air this was Joker esque Yep this game was Joker esque I don't know if you guys remember the 40 to nothing drubbing from Vanderbilt because everybody tries to block that [ __ ] out out of their mind but this game was Joker esque and I I y'all have no idea I just spis to Joker I called him the joke the joke y yep um man I yeah it was it was bad it was um it was Joker ass I completely agree that's a good that's good uh comparison there I argued before the podcast started that uh that it may even be worse than Joker in some ways I mean Brad we didn't I was going to pull up I usually pull up highlights on these postgame shows we didn't have a highlight today Brad we didn't do anything we didn't do a single thing good today there's not one I guess you're gonna need a couple of field goals or something is all I can tell you yeah that we we we did not do a single thing uh well today Brad but um hey guys we we wanna um we we want to chat with you uh we want to hear your thoughts about how um how you feel about the game and everything no cursing okay I've already said this on our on our uh on the post about the postgame show that's even hard for me I probably said no curs I know Brad cursed a little bit but no cursing from our callar okay I TR to say a couple of real bad ones but yeah we don't need to do the real bad ones yeah no cursing that's hard for me when I get upset to be honest with you we're going to be clean so so no cursing but if anybody would like to call in we'd love to hear your thoughts I mean that's part of what these post game shows are they're they're group therapy time right that's pretty much what it is I've been saying on my show I know that that is Jeremy down there at the bottom I've been saying on my show how angry I was going to be if we get beat by South Carolina all pre-season and here we are we did uh you're on with talking who's this CLA how's it going man well I know it's not going good I I shouldn't even ask that but um man what what you got forus you know this is absolutely embarrassing this is just a disgrace and this is just absolutely disgusting our coaches have no fire they have no swag they have no motivation they have no determination they have no effort and all they care about is just making their millions and going on about their day and do whatever they want to do besides coaching football that's all they care about it's it's honestly sad Clyde because like I love Mark stops I love Vince and like I I want to get behind this team I was so excited about this team and cl I have tickets to the I'm going to two games this year I'm going to the Old Miss game I'm going to the Vander game and like I I want to be excited about this team I was excited about this team and it's it's hard to be and it just it just sucks you know yeah I would just go ahead and like give your tickets to somebody else because that ain't even worth watching anymore I mean I'm sorry buddy I know I was as excited as you and but I'm gonna be 100% honest okay so when we hired Mr Bush Hansen I wasn't I was kind of like okay cool but I wasn't fully like oh my God this is great like I wasn't fully like okay with it like I there was just something about him that I'm just like did we throw to bar and brown one time today like I don't know about this guy like I really don't like I wasn't that confident in him to begin with hey Brad Brad wants me to ask you uh if we threw to Barry and brown one time today I don't I don't I don't know that we did no I don't think so and as a matter of fact I think even one time he tried to throw to Dan keen and it went over Dan's hands and and ksr you know they they just got to stop hyping these receivers up because I mean yeah they're good talented wise but they're they're probably Not Gon to have a good season as well as we think they were going to I just I don't see them having a breakout year especially with the way we put itday we won't win another we won't win a ACC game this year it's just not going to happen I know he had zero receptions Chris I was just wondering if we had any attempts to Brown yeah no I I I completely agree Clyde um uh well I think I mean I I guess I don't completely agree I I think we'll win um yeah I think we'll bounce back and I think we'll get some good wins um but it nevertheless it's going to be hard to have the season that that you want to have after after today colan yeah what we saw today is a 4-1 team wins if this oine can't block and if V Griff can't get the ball off and if this happens all year how are we gonna get wins We're not gonna get any wins that's the thing it's question okay so I live less than an hour away from noxville Tennessee I live in Tennessee so man that's tough man I'm sorry about that I know and I just see them getting better in every single Sport and for some reason Mitch Barnhart seems to be okay with us getting worse at basketball while staying mediocre in football I don't understand what what is your guys's take on why Mitch Barnhart is content with the way we are well you know it it it's it's tough man like especially with the nil stuff now it it it's it's really making it worse and I'm not saying I like nil I'm actually I'm not a fan of the way it's going and everything it's definitely hard to see Tennessee being better and better and everything you know like even winning in baseball now they're winning baseball they're solid in basketball every year basketball or football's getting better um you know it's tough I even think you know to be fair man I I I think if we took all of our nil pool and we put it into football I don't even know even then that we'd be able to be competitive with with some of these other SEC football schools so I think we have to continue to put our our nil sort of you know D into basketball um but but man I I I don't even think it's a problem necessarily with getting Talent here I don't think it's an nil problem I think it's a I think it's a coaching problem like it's an execution problem I don't think the I don't think the team preparation was ready today and that's just what that's what's really frustrating I think we have a very very talented roster um and and I think like the the administration is doing a good job of putting all the pieces in place to be successful but I I if you're asking me I I think today was was strictly like an ex's and O's football U problem so can I agree team Brad I'll let you I'll let you go after uh after we the caller and everything but but yeah go go ahead man sorry uh I I agree with everything you just said I just wish Mitch barnhard would make a move with Mark Stoops Advanced us for sure and then it seems like for the past six seven years we've plateaued and you can count on us to almost every season we start strong and then lose five games in a row yep and this year we're not even doing that we're immediately coming out the gates and getting blown out in our first SEC game I just wish we would make a move somewhere because it can't get any worse than it was in the 90s we we gotta do we gotta do it's it sucks because you had Georgia coming in next week right I mean it's not gonna get EXA it's not it's not much better like right you gota you I mean it's not like you can even regroup I mean with Ohio you might be able to but man like I'm looking at the schedule you know up on my wall right now you know obviously you got Ohio but then you got an old Miss who put 76 on Ferman last week and it looks like they're blowing out whoever they're playing week Vanderbilt Jackson Dart just set a record a School record we're our season is already over Ohio will probably be our last win if we play like we did today well you know you got Murray later in the year so I'm hop hoping we could at least beat Murray but but Vander Vanderbilt you know looks obviously better than than people think this year uh you might be able to steal one in Florida Auburn um I think did Auburn lose to Cal do we know that they did lose the C okay so so Auburn uh you know well there goes my parlay uh Auburn you know losing to Cal you might be able to get them but man Texas looks really good I hate to say it the Tennessee and Louisville the last time it was just like an all systems failure to this level um I mean we had offensive penalties defensive penalties um uh Brock looked like he looked he looked horrible and that the old line looked like crap they couldn't I mean they look like I mean honestly they look like high schoolid they couldn't block nothing I mean it was absolutely like you just said an all system failure I saw the um I saw on Twitter today which can be a pretty toxic place but I saw Mitch the Mitch barnhard burner on Twitter posted it was like the little um it was like a door uh with a with a Cheeto in the the lock and it said UK offensive line pass protection it was like the the the Cheeto in in the door so that's pretty much like what it does yeah uhuh I mean I went I went from thinking we're gonna be nine and three and having a chance of going to the college football playoffs we'll be lucky to win four freaking games if that it I I mean this it it really sucked man and and um we're gonna talk about the rest of the season um for sure here before we get off the show but we're not gonna beat o Miss We're not gonna beat Tennessee We're not gonna beat Vanderbilt We're not gonna beat Texas We're Not Gonna I mean we're not going to beat Georgia Georgia it Draft Kings put could put the spread out a Georgia Min 70 next week take it yeah and they would and they would cover the 70 we looked absolute I tell you what Coleman and Brad I've never seen a Kentucky team with this much talent with a five St Star Quarterback look so bad I mean it was we couldn't hit the broadside of the barn I mean yeah he I mean it was just I'm like I just I I just can't believe how they play night now I know I know we're not gonna now just don't get don't get me wrong here I know we're not gonna win next week uh I know we're not gonna beat Georgia but uh let's let's say we beat Georgia would you be would you be more mad if we beat Georgia than if we then if then if we had beaten South Carolina and lost to Georgia versus beating Georgia and losing to South Carolina I would be furious absolutely Furious that we beat Georgia and then turn I mean because we had the opportunity to get some major national attention next week we gonna be two and 0 going this week college game day was probably going to be in Lexington SEC nexton was in Lexington today and they screwed that up that's not going to happen now because they're not going to college game day is not going to come to cover that game with Kentucky being one and one and playing like that and just the way South Carolina P versus Old Dominion and then Kentucky got blowned out blowned out I mean I was like I was looking to the sky hoping for a thunderstorm first quarter so I like so we could just postpone the game and and do it again sometime I I've never been so disgusted and so disappointed in such a talented Squad and it's just it's mindblowing that they performed like that and like you said and Robbie Brad said because I'm just now getting on now have to go back and watch it but it was just an all system failure everybody failed including Stoops yep oh especially I just don't think the team is ready to play but um when I see what I see and when you you all all of you the fans everybody sees it it comes down to one person it is your coaching you know they depend on their talent and we're getting more and more talented I I can see that our basketball teams are everything's changing and then we're in a big hype okay D my he didn't even belong on the field did not have no control over his team or moral any they didn't have no control over their teams at all you know that's just how I look at it now I don't know it about football because I'm G to be honest with you because it bore me today I was looking at the South Carolina Coach too much because I thought he was good looking but that's beside the point Mar oh not Shane Beamer you can't like Shane Beamer Mara I like Mar I look at anym gonna go into the graveyard oh my gosh okay your team I you've got to get a hold of your team there's feel their talent but you it's like C he plays Talent okay that's true he doesn't coach well he he depends on that talent to pull him through I I've read so many good Elite teams I've seen that so many times and sometimes Talent can pull you through saying it can't it can yeah yeah but what I wanted to do this season for some of the groups and some of the groups are willing to do just do a mental awareness um for the groups where we because it's going to be a very hat season I think in basketball football whatever because you guys are hyped up now and try to see if we can pull the fan base whether you win lose hit that bump to stay together this year and not have the fighting and arguing so much and try to stay with the teams because are you talking about in basketball yeah are are you talking about are you talking about uh basketball mainly Mara well I I'm probably G to do basketball mainly because I feel like this is a brand new team I mean you've got to put yourself in their place a brand new team with kids what that feels like to go out on kenty's court you know I can only imagine I to play on some basketball 100% agree with yeah you know it's a different feeling and my girls would be scared almost you know like go look where we're at you know and I'm like yes though you know quit qu let it bother you but mental awaren aess is even the players are starting to come through with it and we're going to try to do in the groups a little bit more to get more mental awareness where the fans aren't so nasty either because we got brand new teams we got you know coming in coach and everything and just stay behind I don't expect a championship well that's right we we've go we've got to ask you about um I don't think we when's the last time you called in Mara was it was it pre or or post pop decision um I can't remember I I was Leary a little bit about Pope but in my opinion she is a very he would be a coach I would not want to go up against because I find him to be intuitive because I find myself to be intuitive because I feel like I can read coaches yeah Mark's Mark is going to be a hard coach to to read and I think Cal will have a problem if Cal beats us it'll be by his talent alone yeah he won't beat him by his intelligence of the game right even with his players because Pope is too in tune with every one of his players in my opinion sure his recruiting alone has made him an exceptional coach already whether we've played or not I found the exceptional there AB absolutely absolutely what do you what do you think about um I've got to ask you you being the the women's basketball coach that you are what do you think about Kenny Brooks are you excited about him you know that's your best thing another best thing they could have done you know again when you go to clean house sometimes you got a clean house I know a lot of you guys like Stoops I I don't I don't know what y'all see in him I just don't sometimes he comes through again he plays on his talent sometimes well sometimes that's po us through you know a couple years look pretty good then we go back downhill again you know you you when you're a coach you don't ever come out of that that's what I like about Pope well what what do what do you think about what do you think about Kenny Brooks though what do you think about the the women's new women's Coach I think personally I have never seen him Coach personally if his team likes him as well as I think they do I think they're going to have a good season I like how he talks I think he's truly into them and and it sure takes away from your family time has Mark and all them I get that it is a job and they should be well paid for it but you know C made too much money and he relied on his talent I ain't relying on Talent I'm relying on to win at any cost because that's your job to win at any cost and if you're not you better stop the game now yep and you better put the point across now before it's too late it too late for football well I gotta I gotta talk you know I I love um you know know I know this football postgame show but I love Mark Pope Marsha and and that that family like I mean like all all his girl it's like it's very athletic family like they all play sports and I just I just feel like they I don't know there's a there's a lot to like there like so I'm I'm excited he's passionate about it and he knows the game um he analyzes teams he analyzes coaches and that's what I I just know he does though I've seen him a little bit with BYU and I've liking in I thought you know he's coming to Kentucky well nobody thought well he's not a big high profile coach yeah got to Kentucky yep yeah that's a good point I don't hear anything else okay what about recruiting yeah he's a high recruiter he's done well for first year and if you notice if he goes to pick up guys he don't pay he doesn't go by himself he takes two assistance with me right they're all on the same page where KY takes himself and decides for him St what he wants will pull him through and it's not that I hate C I just don't the coaching like I said I don't depend on my talent sure totally sit back and put my ladies back and think that they're gonna win a ball game for me you gota coach them all time it doesn't matter what age they are they still have to be coached if you want to win I mean you know SEC we you all set it 10o on y you know especially Brad all this cat I love him okay because he did he nailed it he nailed it does yeah and I'm just no I'm going to let you guys know I'm glad you're in the group and definitely welcome all of y'all in I'm trying to put my people in for you all so they can speak to you all that I don't think they they understand I'll try to explain that to them so you can grow bigger but I like I said I want to do a mental awareness for basketball because of being a brand new team and how hard new coaches men's and women's they need that this year not get nasty because we lose a game for some reason you know I can't can't promise you you we're going to win championship no way that that that's stupid but I can promise you that we're gonna hit some bums gonna be some hard ones and I think Arkansas if they beat us either they go coach to coach which I don't think how can go coach to coach with with Pope at all and I think Pope will win it with his own player but I think they're bulkier than Kentucky and could mandle us a little bit but if we're on anybody in our comments that wants to tune in as well I don't retir well I don't think he's so I said who retires first uh John caliper at Arkansas or Mark STS at Kentucky uh I believe Brad said Stoops at Kentucky was gonna retire first um I've always thought an early retirement was in the cards for him uh but he thought it was going to be close I I thought it was going to be close uh Jeremy I'm not predicting it to happen but I would not be surprised uh if STS retires um or moves on after this year kind of pulls a Nick Sav and said look all this nil stuff all this Oklahoma and Texas and the SEC stuff I'm I'm I'm done with it I'm backing out see I don't agree with any of that really I think dups still wants I mean that's why he entertained the Texas A&M thing in the off season I think he still wants a shot at taking a team to a championship level I just don't think I think he's worn out at Kentucky I think he has taking them almost as far as he can I think you know when Cal took the Kentucky job there was all this talk that you know he's saying you know 10 years was the Max and 10 years is is is long you know as long as you can stay at one school and all this talk well Stoops has been here 12 years this is his 12th season and I'm going to be honest with you up through about eight or nine Seasons you could still see the climb the past three I heard a caller Brandon I think earlier say that we've plateaued we haven't plateaued when you start losing eight out of 10 games in the SEC at home over a two and a half year period that's not a plateau that's a decline there is no Plateau I'm telling you fans this is not a plateau this is a decline we are definitely going that back down the hill and I don't think that I don't see the fire in Stoops to climb back up now I didn't I'm saying that at Kentucky you're asking about retire I think he if he gets an opportunity he would take a job at a different time type of level like a Texas A&M was last year they have all the money is he G to get offered that after I don't know after after this I don't know if he'll get that offer yeah but if he does I think we would see him Coach again I really do 502 2341 154 we'd love for years that he's been here absolutely yeah absolutely um and you know the women basketball I'm excited about getting to cover those uh this year as well it's going to be fun with Brooks and Georgia Moore and all of them so I want to throw that in for you guys I know that um marshia was talking about some of the basketball stuff um so I want to throw that in that um at college sports cast I am Kentucky is 17 and3 in their last 20 games that their opponent has less than 300 yards of total offense two of those three losses have come against South Carolina so you got to beat Shane Beamer Brad it it's frustrating that you're right we're we're Shane Beamer's jobs security now we got to go to their house next year that's gonna that's going to suck I'm gonna be honest with you we probably ain't gonna win that game another Corey price St this is ky's worst home loss ever against South Carolina 25 points the previous worst loss was 21 points on September 29th 2012 um this is ky's worst home loss to an unranked SEC Pon opponent uh since October 31st 2015 versus Tennesseee which was 31 points uh Kentucky is 2-8 in their last 10 secc home games their worst record in a stretch of 10 sec home games since November 3rd 2012 to September 19 2015 one more here this is the most points J the most points that Kentucky football has allowed in the game immediately following a shutout since September 28th 1996 six when Florida scored 65 against Kentucky after the Wildcat shut out Indiana 3 to zero the week prior so not not some great set lines there Brad a lot of Firsts in a long time that don't T in our favor we had a caller mentioned the 90s Kentucky football and I have mentioned Joker that I like to call the joke uh but and because I know a lot of people that are fans now will remember him but if you guys remember Bill Curry as the coach yep oh man like you talking about scoring we never scored over 10 points a game I mean slow run the ball it was awful like um I mean we we were a awful awful football team and Curry was an Alabama coach and come to Kentucky and just blanked the bed to be kind honest with you well uh guys we'll kind of start to round it out here um next
