oh basically knowing him throughout his years you get to form he used to feel him as a person not all this big idol that you know it's something that it's almost impossible he's won a super bowl he's been everywhere we want to be and you get to know him on a day-to-day basis ellen ray aldridge jr has always been interested in being an educator after seeing most of his family and that profession audrey started working in 2004 at his former high school willow ridge high school he was then moved to george bush high school in 2005 where he taught special education as 2008 rolled by alan aldridge was named head coach at george bush high school well he impacted my life like through coaching like he's not just he didn't just coach like he tried to connect with the players like in a family matter like sort of like a second father so you know that was a great feeling gave me like a good like foundation for life and football and stuff like that and anything like inspiration to do what he did or once did audrey got his inspiration for football from his dad a former nfl player for the houston oilers and the cleveland browns alan aldridge the first it's amazing it's like a role that inspires you to do more and you always want to take everything he says and use it in your everyday life he's a real inspiration help me from anywhere from track to football basketball everything i'll see him at our track meets and he'll be at the 300 meter mark screaming all right finish stronger he's always just finding some way to encourage us and push us to keep us going and of course he always helps us with the recruiting process too i mean he's impacted my life since i've been at bush you know from the moment i stepped in you know he really kind of you know showed me the ropes you know showed me everything about football everything i know and ever you know my success already well i've known of coach aldridge um but when i first found out he was going to be working here at bridges like i was like wow that's pretty cool you know get to work next to a guy who uh has some nfl experience and who won a super bowl uh ring with the demo broncos it's gonna be pretty cool to work next to without you know that magnitude it's a great honor because you know um those who play in the nfl that's everybody can't do that so to be you know next to somebody or to work with somebody who has had that privilege or and the ability to do that it's a great honor not only does alan anders have an experience in the nfl he spends 70 hours a week on average on the football team alone but yet has time to spend with his family he says another one of his biggest inspirations is his wife though he takes care of the kids when it's football season you know i think he works well with the young kids and does a good job it's actually pretty good especially being on defensive side coaching secondary being able to get pointers from somebody that has played at the highest level you know you're able to kind of see your brain work when he starts talking and starts explaining and it's interesting to really understand like the real depth of the game as he knows it oh have i seen the super bowl ring yes i have seen super bowl and it is truly something to be admired yes beautiful work of art yes it is and it's coincidental that you know he won the super bowl and he got a super bowling with the broncos and you know now he's coaching the broncos so it's like when the kids see his super bowl ring it's business as the broncos logo it you know for some of them it inspires them so yes the super bowl ring is very important great experience i mean every every kid that plays football would love to be the best in the world on the team that was the best in the world and you know we accomplished that you know i played with a lot of great athletes a lot of great players on that team played for a great coaching staff and it was just an unbelievable moment i did cry after that game russell king an offensive tackle for the seattle seahawks number 76 was a former student at george bush high school an old student for alan aldridge in 2014 super bowl 48 russell went against his high school football coach home team the denver broncos ironically enough to say alan aldrich is truly an inspiration has been an honored and recognized football coach all around you
