Shailene Woodley is getting candid about the aftermath of her breakup from Aaron Rodgers in a new interview for reporter magazine the actress reflects on the challenges of shooting the Showtime series three women following her high profile split from the NFL star last year she says it was hard to film because I was going through the darkest hardest time in my life it was winter in New York and my personal life was so it felt like a big pain bubble for eight months I was so grateful that at least I could go to work and cry and process my emotions through my character Shailene and Aaron reportedly split in February 2022 a little over a year after he announced their surprise engagement the couple's romance quickly gained lots of attention which led to a turning point in shailene's relationship with social media she explains I dated somebody in America who was very very famous it was the first time that I'd had a quote-unquote famous relationship I'm a very private person and so I found that anytime I posted anything I instantly felt like I was sharing too much of Who I Am with people I didn't necessarily trust since then Shailene has prioritized her mental health by deleting Instagram from her phone and focusing on the little things that bring her Joy she says the way that I take care of myself now looks very different to the way I used to [Music] thank you
