Thoughts on Clemson and Week One you ready to hit somebody it's been a long fall just uh your thoughts on Clemson week one getting after it yeah I am man especially in opposite Jersey uh it's been a long F like you said Clemson's a great team watch the little tape on them I'm excited to play them uh got great quarterback great offensive scheme yes sir yeah Michael over here to your right do you feel like this trans Transition to moving to the Jack role transition to to Jack in this position change has been a little bit overblown for you you feel like you're still have kind of the same responsibilities coach smart laid it out as it nothing's really changed for you just with some additional roles yeah kind of exactly that like I ain't really too much change I'm just going to do a little bit a little bit of stuff different it's really kind of the same thing though sir I guess the natural followup to that What are the differences in your position? is is what is different how has your role changed um over the last eight nine months no I wouldn't really say it changed I say I just say a little bit I do a little bit more on first and second down I say Jahzare Jackson and what he brings yeah uh John Jackson obviously a uh relatively new to the return of football played in middle school you know coming back to it now in college what have you seen from the big 6'1 offensive tackle exactly that man huge yeah he got extremely long arms he has the he has athleticism in his body so he he definitely has the talent to to be something with hard work and dedication obviously you weren't here Thoughts on Clemson and this rivalry yet to have played in that 21 game game against Clemson but what what is your uh kind of feeling on that program as a rival being just 73 miles up the road and how much of uh how much juice does that provide for you know this this game in particular clemon is a great opponent it definitely provides like a level of excitement given their history especially over the last 10 years they won MP national championships and uh with de sweny being a great coach I just know they're going to be a well coached group and they're going to be physical uh they got Mt Luke is their offensive line coach I know he loves counter and they are physical and I I expect them to be physical Mel what does a successful What does a successful season look like to you? season look like for you and do you have any personal goals uh winning the national championship that's my goal that's that's really that's really I want to win another one back so that's that's really what I'm focusing on this year was is there one guy flying under the radar that we might not see in practice who if we ask you at the end of the year you could say Michel called it Who do you think are under the radar players on this roster? week one that he was going to have a a breakout season it's it's too many guys to name like that we got man we talented I ain't going to lie We Got Talent all over the field and it's especially we got a good group of young guys that's going that's going to be able to help us Mel what did you see from Christian What have you seen on Christen Miller? Miller during this fall camp and getting ready for this season man this probably the best Camp I seen uh Christian have he uh he worked hard every day came in with the right mindset just to get better and grow and uh I'm I'm excited for him for this year I say that Joseph Jonah-Ajonye's progression yeah similarly Joseph Jon J coming in similar build to yoush how have you seen him develop and how georg's Tred to go about growing him up so quickly yeah Joseph is going to be a special player uh I feel like with time and and and and he continues to work hard how he has been he going to be a real special player he's got great talent great size great great strength and he going to help us uh you were able to spend some time with Carson in I guess Dallas at How would you describe Carson Beck as a teammate? the SEC Med days you probably see him a lot around the lock how would you describe just his disposition his personality with teammates yeah car is a great guy he a real team guy he's a real leader not lock room and uh he's a great guy to hang with to chill to talk with you talk any trash on the field at all uh I Ain n I'm n he not yeah no just uh practicing against the Which is the hardest Georgia running backs is the hardest to bring down in practice? offense um which of the running backs would you say is the hardest to bring down at or behind the line of scrimmage man we're so tent in that running back room all of them all of them are had they own like thing about them like even if one of them got good Cuts one of them got good power one of them just sideline sideline sideline fast all of them are hard to bring down just say you guys are going back to Thoughts on playing at Mercedes-Benz Stadium the BS you've played in there a few times how do you feel about playing uh in that building is is there any advantage to haven't played in a lot I mean it's in Atlanta so I feel like uh we always have a great turnout when we play in the BS and I just I like Mercedes-Benz I like the stadium I I like playing there our fans show up and show out so I feel like we had that Advantage yeah what have you seen from What have you seen from Monroe Freeling? uh Monroe freeling during his time here and uh you know especially going into year to as an offensive tackle here for George yeah mon Roose he's growing as a player for sure he's he's definitely a great player and he he can definitely help us you talked about uh kid kumnick earlier said you know he thought he was a great player what is it about him you see on tape stands out about his game how slippery he is uh he he finds his way out of pocket a lot he's the stand plays I noticed that about K he's slippery he's hard to bring What do you want people to say about Georgia’s defense? down yeah last time you guys played Clemson obviously you weren't here yet but defense makes a big statement in that game what do you want to have people saying about this defense coming out of this first game against Clemson we're physical we out here out out compete and I hustle uh that's something we hang our hat on I hope that people can see that and what we do Saturday Mel what do you see in fil MAF Thoughts on Clemson running back Clemson's running back and just their entire Russian attack no he's talented yeah now Phil mafa he's a great back he's patient uh he runs hard and he's strong he like 230 I think like 61 230 he's a solid back yeah my over here U last week I think it was that U that Carson Beck and leadership Carson and Malachi kind of gave you guys some some gifts how how how cool that what does that mean when when some of your team leaders you know do something like that for the guys man that's dope man everybody can everybody can listen to their own music and peace now but uh now they blessed us with the beats and they had a nice design on it and we really enjoyed it and we liked it I think it's safe to say no one can fill Brock's shoes but what have you seen from Oscar just growing as a leader Oscar Delp and replacing Brock Bowers and this do you think he's ready to to fill that void that will be needed in this offense yeah for sure this whole offseason I've been noticed Oscar like tap like steps to be more of a leader more vocal and just even like with his actions just in the weight room and how he Sprints and just how he moves that practice so I definitely seen de Tak the next steps any more questions for my all right M thank you
