[Music] all I want all I want pleas [Music] so long so long why you keeping me waiting all I want [Music] I long so long why you keeping me w to [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] all I want all I want we are [Music] you you keep [Music] me all I want all I want we are you you so long hello and welcome to this second round matchup between number five seed from Italy Jasmine palini and the number 44 in the world Carolina Pisa from the Czech Republic Pini serving um she won the toss and chose to serve serving right now from the due side at 0 first goes to the forehand Miss hit return from plova forehand inside in winner from palini so this is the um the second match up between these two players and L already looks like she's limping and is walking over to her chair and has wre it down and sat down straight away um taking her trainers off how looking concerned let give her taking her sock off as well looks to be maybe her anle I'm not sure so it looks like on the on the replay on her return looks like it was her left foot but the physio has already been called to the court um so after she hit her return she looks like she maybe twinged her ankle and then immediately walks over to the chair um so not a great start for um Plover who was a former two-time grandar finalist um once here and yeah not the not the start she she's hoping for um against the number five how is sitting down on her chair um the score is only 3015 in the first game but early concern this is the second meeting um between the two players the first was in 2021 in the Australian Open where plisa comfortably won six love 62 um but that was a while ago now and Pini has found her form so I'm sure she's hoping this will go differently day and as she's a two time two time Grand SL finalist just from this year Alone um her form is pretty strong going into this Us open this year and I'm sure she's hoping to make her thir grand time fin of the year but yeah definitely some concern for um P right now taking the other um shoe and stock off now and appearing to massage her right ankle um some tape some strapping on that left one but I'm unsure what she what she's done but like I said the physio has been called [Music] um and we'll see we'll see if she can carry on hopefully she can um like I said we're very early on into this into this second round match the pizio is running onto the court now um welcomed by some some cheers by The Audience by the crowd um but yeah who does everybody want to win today or who do we think would win hopefully if um plis is able to carry on Play and play in the form that she wants to play in um she's not had the most comfortable season so far um especially in comparison to Pini who has had a great season um her best the best season of her career which just proves at the age of 28 it's never too late um but the physio appearing to to massage P's left ankle right now um yeah a lot of conversation going on between the two of them she's definitely massage again P does look to me in pain um like I said there is already some some straic on there she's attempting to stand up now let's quickly sat back down the pH is now talking to the Empire the Empire's off of um her chair P putting her shoe back on so that so Carolina piskov has retired from the match um at 15 at 3015 to they're sharing a hug on the court which is nice to see but yeah breaking news um pis has just retired hello Lexi P's just retired um from the match at 3015 down in the first game because of an injury that she's picked up following the return [Music] um which is really upsetting plisa has retired um from this match already um so yeah that's really quite sad for her actually um but it means that Pini is now through to the third round um yeah so what happened was um Pini served at 50 no um P hit a forehand return that appear to kind of misjudge her timing maybe on her foot I'm not actually sure exactly what happened um but as soon as she hit the shot she did feel something funny and immediately walked over to her chair so yeah hopefully hopefully she'll make a speedy recovery because kis is a former world number one she's a she's a great personality on tour um has made it to two grand s finals in the past and so yeah we wish we wish this for all the best um but is that does mean that um Jasmine po has made it through to the to the third round and so we wish her the best of luck um and so this stream is is now over um but thank you for tuning in don't forget to subscribe um and we'll see you next time thank thank you [Music] keep [Music] [Music]
