This is my second Paralympic Games. So it’s very special to be here again. In Tokyo, I won gold in doubles, and sliver in singles. Hopefully we’ll get two gold medals out of it now. I play doubles with Niels (Vink), we also regularly play singles against each other. So that's a special thing to experience. We might play a singles final in the morning, then have to play a doubles final together in the afternoon. It’s a good rivalry with Niels, we are just raising each other's levels an awful lot, we are really good together. We win an awful lot, a lot of success and a lot of fun too and that’s very important. Well here at Roland Garros, I made it to the singles final, a number of times, I just didn’t win every time, and fortunately, I had doubles success, so in terms of level I am very close, and if I am just a little bit luckier, it should come my way. “For the next couple of weeks, I will be cooking and eating my way through France.” Ahead of the games in Paris, because it’s in France, I decided to make some French dishes to get a bit of experience, and see what’s tasty. I just really enjoyed doing all of that, purely out of my own interest, and a fun challenge to cook new things I hope to continue cooking after my tennis I really enjoyed doing it. Who knows, maybe one day, there will be a Sam Schroder restaurant! For me, the goal in Paris is actually, first of all, to just enjoy all the games. Everything I am experiencing here, to win two gold medals, here in Paris. That’s the goal.
