We have some breaking news coming at you tonight. A Fulton County judge dismissing two criminal counts against former president Donald Trump because they are quote beyond the state's jurisdiction. 11 al Lives Grace King joining us now after receiving a copy of the judge's order. So Grace, the case currently stalled for unrelated reasons. But what does this mean if the case moves forward? It means the president will be facing fewer charges if they go to trial. And that means that of course, Judge Scott mcafee dismissed three total counts in his new ruling this afternoon. Two that involved Donald Trump. The count, 15 accused Trump and several others of unlawfully conspiring to file a fake certificate of voters from the 2020 electors from Georgia that was later mailed to a federal judge count 27 accused the former president and his former attorney of filing a document in court that contained at least one false statement about improper votes from people who were dead underage, convicted felons or not registered mcafee quashed those charges and one other charge against three of Trump's co defendants because he found they aren't within the state's jurisdiction. Mcafee issued a similar ruling earlier this year dismissing three other counts against Trump. At this point, only eight of the 13 counts that he was originally indicted on remain.
