[Music] again someone who be disregarded by clubs that I think would ordinarily be favorites to win this competition or even the Europa League like look at his age okay he hasn't got much of a future left you know he's 30 you know he's got this is probably his last contract something like that although I imagine people would be curing up at you you talked about the data analyst teams I bet you over the years 28 29 30 they wouldn't he wouldn't have really registered on their on their data but I mean Don You' look at his AG age you'd say he's 30 okay why take a chance he's coming from qar if he's playing in Qatar what does that say about him okay at they stage of his career and yet he's come he's not only scored goals in the Greek Super league but Europa League conference League um and a free transfer I mean I love stories like that I remember the guy who won the European championships for Portugal in 2016 in that final in against France in Paris it wasn't Christian Ronaldo it was Ed who people yeah people when he was in that Squad like who is this guy what's he doing you know he's playing in Russia or something like that and yet he had that moment where he's the guy who won an international trophy for Portugal and it's the same with El kabi denight he's one of those Strikers who you know he's not one of the foremost most famous Strikers of his Generation by any means you know the one we're all talking about this summer is mbappe going through Real Madrid and yet this guy has has made history will be I mean he'll be famous forever in in Athens and Olympia but famous in this competition as well which has been such a great thing I mean I'm very critical of seph but this competition bringing back a third UAV competition has been really really good for nights like this nights like West Ham had in Prague nights like Roma had in Tiana it's really energized a lot of clubs that had decided to drift really in European football didn't feel like they had a place in European football other than qualifying for the Champions League only to go out in the group stages to win something to give your fans that is is everything yeah it's a competition isn't it that has made history in every season so far and it's happened once again olympi Aros winning their first ever European trophy a first ever European trophy for a Greek club and those stories you hear about players about teams about clubs they are the things that connect with football fans and we've had bundles of them in this competition this season and none more so than in this final so as the Trophy presentation is about to begin let's take you back to our commentators for it Lucy Ward and Adam supton thank you Jules great to see the sportsmanship there between the two sets of players I was fortunate to cover the Europa League final as well and I just felt it was a feel-good final there and this has been similar to clubs who aren't necessarily used to these sort of showpieces yes fantina playing in their second Final in as many seasons but you think it was a very first for olympos and it was the early '90s the last time fantina had been in a European final prior to last season we saw about olympos who are by the way the first Club outside of England Spain Italy or Germany to win a major European trophy since Porto in 2011 and to go back to what the guys were saying there about the success of this competition that illustrates it doesn't it that a team from outside the established Elite is is claing silver yeah I think it's one of the good things that uer has done in recent Seasons this I mean we saw that what it meant to West Ham last season you know what it means to Olympiacos and it's not just about the the the the senior group of players you know the youth team the under 19s won the UFA Youth League that is that's that's key as well you know like it's all about bringing together different players who might not have been successful at other clubs but have also got the youth coming through as well and that's a a real recipe for Success ior who we just saw there walk past the trophy in touch yet he's now won five major European honors a four-time winner of the Europa League olympi Aros a club drenched in domestic silverware over the decades they are the most successful side in Greek football but now in there 100th year they have the Continental Kudos that they have always craved but as previously eluded them this is the night of the legend I'd have to say that mandar has worked his magic again just as he did with seier last season these players will be remembered and revered forever and here is the club Captain fortunis who first joined olympios as a youngster back in 2005 one can only imagine how special how precious this moment is to him
