absolutely right thank you Nat Stephanie Anderson's back now with all the latest weather now step conditions they should take a turn tomorrow yeah that's right Peter I hope you soaked up the sunshine today because a cold front is heading our way and it's expected to bring thunderstorms and damaging winds with it I'll have the details for you [Music] next hello again after a Gusty unsettled night Melbourne was delivered beautiful blue skies and Saturday Sun Sunshine from a low of 14° the city peaked at 22 which is six above average across the suburbs overnight showers didn't leave much at all in the gauges and temperatures remained in double figures across the board then most spots warmed up into the low 20s fery Creek maxed out at 18 those mild conditions continued across the state warnable and R Glenn only dropped to 13 a little cooler in the Mali then the sun boosted mil Jura to 28° our warmer spot for the day but conditions are looking very different for our Sunday a trough and cold front are forecast to sweep across this country's Southeast bringing the risk of severe thunderstorms the bureau has issued a severe weather warning for damaging winds for East gibsland Northeast west and south gibsland central and North Central districts Adelaide will feel the impact before us a low of 15 is expected then heading for 20° it should be a wet day in camra 2 a top of 21 back home thunderstorm activity could start Before Dawn in the far Northwest of the state then as the day warms up storms are expected to reach the West in the early afternoon moving into Central areas and the east in the evening most spots should reach maximums of the low to mid 20s 29 for mura across the suburbs minimums are expected to remain in double figures for most spots tonight before heading for maximums in the low 20s widespread showers are expected in the afternoon and evening with the possibility of destructive winds and large hail in northeastern suburbs showers and partly cloudy skies are expected in jalong a top of 23 23 for the city too with the chance of a thunderstorm the skies should be a little less stormy on Monday though a top of 18 is expected under partly cloudy skies then winds are forecast to pick up on Tuesday as another front moves across a maximum of 20 a shower or two when Wednesday and Thursday with a top of 17 and 18 next Friday 17 for next Saturday so tomorrow is the start of a showery run the city is expected to drop to 12 before reaching a top of 23 with the chance of a thunderstorm and Pete the key thing tomorrow is those Gusty winds that are forecast so people should really be prepared okay thanks for letting us know thank you Steph at Melbourne that's what's news this Saturday enjoy your evening and good night [Music] [Music] a [Music]
