hi it's Robert Mitchell and I'm here at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival and I'm here on the red carpet for the world premiere of Nacho vigeland's new film Daniela forever it's uh very nice to meet you good to meet you too so uh when you read the script of Danielo forever what uh did you connect with um I think the the way that Nick sort of uh processes grief uh everybody's different uh he's trying to find a way of getting out of the rut that he's in um and so he finds this sort of he comes across this treatment uh and he gives him the access to lucid dreams and and and that's one way but he becomes addicted to it because he he finds that he can control it and use it so as you just mentioned the film's large part about lucid dreaming what's your dreams like do you remember them or very few far and few between do you remember but there's one in once in a while you get a great lucid dream where you're like all right I could stay here for him and then suddenly you're pulled out of it by an alarm or something what's funny cuz Nao also just said the same thing he rely for somebody such a visual medium remember he tells me that yeah uh what was uh it like to work with him and your fellow actors on the set phenomenal natur me and him have the same humor uh betri is like absolutely wonderful to work with so talented so giving uh she's a fantastic singer as well she has a song at the end of the credits so you have to watch out for that you so much
