hi it's mdg.com here with your free pick in the Rockies versus Orioles Major League Baseball matchup on Sunday September 1st 2024 if you like all the free picks we do at pic dogs you'll love our premium picks our Best Bets just go to piic dogs.com click on the premium picks tab I've also got a link directly below this video in the description if you make bigger bets like a thousand or more per game looking for looking to bet like a professional we have VIP Services these are only long-term plans and meant for big betters if that's you text that number if you're looking just for premium picks daily picks stuff like that the games I'm betting well hit the regular premium area I bet my picks every day but let's get this one Orioles taking on the Rockies Orioles one of the best records in baseball the Rockies one of the worst in fact the Orioles have the second best record in the American League at this point and uh believe it's the fourth best or fifth best record in all of baseball but uh that is only good enough for being the top wild card in the American League right now as the New York Yankees lead them in the American League east and you know it's been back and forth all season but over the last week or so it's been more uh more Yankees way I'd have to say than the Orioles and to be honest I think you know when you look at the two teams and you you look at the eye test and you watch him play the games I think the Yankees are the better team I think the Orioles have a reasonable pitching staff but their Top Gun Corbin Burns has kind of let them down recently and he hasn't been the best of the best and um you know the Yankees they had they got a a lot out of some of you know some midrange guys there in the rotation earlier this season they kind of tailed off a little bit but they've picked it up again and I think the Yankees bats certainly a just a better lineup than the Orioles as well but of course in this one the Rockies one of the worst teams in all of baseball battling it out with the Miami Marlins for the worst record in the National League and the second worst record in baseball it could be the third worst I think the Angels might be worse than them but the thing is is that um no actually not they're actually worse than the Angels but anyways Rockies have been pretty terrible generally a good home team and they've been reasonable at home I mean still below 500 though while the Orioles you know just this team just seems to lose a lot of these winnable spots but still a winning record on the road you know double digits you know to to the good on the road so Orioles maybe a little bit underrated in that in that respect and maybe uh you know maybe it's me we look at the Rockies and they're just three and seven though in their last 10 games while the Orioles um you know 29 and 14 when they play in these Sunday Spots I'm not a big day of the week guy but there are certain days of the week like Sundays usually Wednesdays or Thursdays that are kind of these travel type days that it does it does certainly play a little bit of a factor in the Orioles well it doesn't seem to bother them all that much when we look at the way these teams are hitting the baseball and the Rockies hitting just 210 versus left-handed pitching and 270 though versus righties over their last 10 games the Orioles 173 versus righties and 218 versus lefties over the last 10 games but the issue here to for me is the Rockies Bullpen because I think this game could be one of those higher scoring Coors Field type of games and that Bullpen for the Rockies at 6.40 over their last 10 games and I don't love the Orioles Bullpen but they are at 2.34 over their last 10 I'll roll with the Orioles in this one don't love it but that's going to be my free pick of course while you're doing your picks putting your bets in use our free betting tools at sportschatplace.com 100% free and they'll help put you on the most favorable bets on the board today
