[Music] good evening we begin tonight at Saskatoon Provincial Court where a woman from Corman Park made her first court appearance accused of killing her husband Laura Woodward now on what happened and what's next in the case for her first court appearance Lauren Bessie sat in the prisoner's box crying as lawyers discussed her case the 35-year-old woman is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her husband Danny Macwan the 42-year-old man was found dead at a home in Corman Park on Friday morning at 7:00 a.m. RCMP say they received a report of an injured man and paramedics declared him dead at the scene the couple had been married for 8 years according to a June Facebook post by Bessie that says quote through life's highs and lows we've remained unwavering in our love and support for each other Bessie's lawyer suggested a two-e adjournment she said to move to Pine grve Correctional Center and has been ordered to have no contact with her mom who is a crown Witness Bessie is expected to be back here at Provincial Court on September 9th Laura Woodwards CTV News Saskatoon
