these are movies Tim Burton almost directed but didn't part one Batman continues that was the original title for the third Batman film uh and he was planning on returning however Warner Brothers didn't want him to return because of the uh less merch sales and box office for Batman Returns and also because of that [ __ ] kid on TV so he was just a producer and helped pick uh Joel Schumacher and the screenwriter after hours Tim Burton was or Ally attached but when Martin Score says he read the script and he couldn't get the financing for Last Temptation made uh and he really liked the script of after hours he decided he wanted to direct it and Tim Burton actually gladly stepped aside to let Martin squ say he do it Pirates of the Caribbean dead Man tell no Tales he was approached to direct this probably because Johnny Depp was involved in stuff but he turned it down to make Frank and weeny instead
