Hart County KY Prairie Kingsnake - 1 May 2024

all right one of my favorites here the uh the prairie king snake lamp prop pelus cagaster found two of these today in Oldfield habitat this here looks to be a uh an adult female uh very girthy I wonder if she might be grabit it's May 1st uh 2024 Edmonson County well I'm sorry I'll take that back it's Hart County Kentucky yeah good looking healthy snake though for sure yeah look at that there yeah very uh healthy looking animal let's look at the the ventril here see what we have a little bit of a checker board on It come on now see here yeah she actually shed some eates on me had to use a napkin to kind of wipe them off a little bit kind of see a little bit of ohill habitat right here little bit of a woodland Edge yeah I like these snakes here another one of the uh members of the genus lamp prop pelus here in Kentucky how nice is that seen three this week the other two were blue unfortunately but I'll take it all the same all right ready to put her back and there we go
