[Music] play with Tom Brady how do you think he's going to do calling games for Fox I think he's going to be great I really do I think again like much like we've talked about he's the ultimate professional he was in year 25 or whatever the year we win the Super Bowl and put so much effort into the plays put so much effort into the game plan put so much effort into the game planning I just think he's going to attack it in the same professional man and I think he's got a he's got a better perspective on the game than all of us he's seen it all he's been there he's done that I think much like Romo right like he's his his pre- snap knowledge of what is about to transpire and him being able to feed that now as long as he can feed it in a in a well taken mode I think he's going to do just great yeah yeah now the question I have with Brady's not how good he's going to be is the time that it takes he's made so much money already is got great Investments he's every company feels like Tom Brady owns a piece of it now he's going be putting in 60 70 80 hour work weeks I did the broadcast boot camp and they're like if you're calling games you need to know everyone's names you have to be able to pronounce them the right way he sacrificed a lot of time away from family and we saw it in the roast they brought it up multiple times is he going to be willing to take that take that next step and continue I mean I get he's getting paid but a lot of guys have come and tried it Drew Brees did it and and didn't work out like I'm wondering if the time away from family and it's not eight away games it's could be potentially 18 away games every week going to Detroit and yeah you're not hanging out in Miami in that in that beautiful house he's building anymore I I don't know if that plays A Part yeah obviously everybody's going to want to know Tom what's Tom Brady looking at what's his view of this like he he when he speaks like he's he has enough like respect on what he's done and accomplished that he he you already know he knows what he's talking about I did a little bit of broadcasting I'm not comparing myself to him but you're not talking just offensive football anymore you're talking about defense you're talking about special teams you're talking about situations you you got you can't be biased one way or the other and so I think I'm I'm excited to listen to him because you're going to hear not only what he thinks about offensive playing and offensive players and schemes you're going to hear the total like football knowledge of Tom Brady and it's going to be pretty fun to watch I think I think what's really cool what most people don't realize is we know the game a lot like all of us right but I think when you talk to a quarterback it's a whole another level like even you know if you're just your six years Center in the NFL and you make a mic point then after it's like well why' you switch it he goes and has a conversation with you it's a whole different the way you guys see it is a whole different world right the way you see it from Tom Brady's a whole different world the way you see it from Aaron Rogers a whole different world so there's a unique perspective from quarterback and then there's a whole different perspective from quarterback to quarterback so I think it's going to be cool to see the way that he does it versus Romo yeah right and Greg olon was great which kind of sucks that he has to kind of take a step back cut that he took but he he's great so like I think that's also what he's going to be measured against right like Greg was great so really good the bar has to be raised yeah no he he'll be fun to listen to because I think more so because of the situational awareness that he has you know all I'm excited listen all the things that he's been through two minute Red Zone short yardage the plan of attack how to attack certain coverages I know he can't get too involved in it because you're talking to the common person you got to make it uh interesting for them where they're not what is he talking about he's not going to call play like two jet all go special Z dig whatever it is but just to convey the footwork and the timing and the anticipation a quarterback has I think he'll be great talking about the quarterback because as we know the quarterback position is the most talked about position anyway and his knowledge on the quarterback and what it takes to be successful what the quarterback's seeing what he's going through I don't think anybody will be able to convey it like Tom not even Romo not none of these other guys Tom because because to me Tom is such a great player and I feel like he's a self-made guy yeah kind like Steph Curry in basketball right Steph Curry if he didn't work on his crap day after day hour after hour he'd just be another six fo4 guard now he's the greatest shooter in NBA history Tom Brady is a tall gangly unathletic guy if you didn't work on his footwork and his fundamentals every single day work on his arm uh throwing off platform seeing defenses making the right calls knowing exactly where his receivers are going to be when they're going to be there um he'd
