Rob the rabbit Pitts star of Netflix's TexMex Motors passes away at 45 Rob the rabbit pits known for his role in Netflix's automobile renovation series TexMex Motors has died at the age of 45 pittz who had been battling stomach cancer passed away in Hospice Care on Sunday August 25th in a poignant farewell video title this is goodbye shared on his YouTube channel pitz addressed his fans one last time in the video he spoke openly about his journey with the illness and his final moments pits revealed that he began experiencing symptoms after attending the SEMA car show in lasas Vegas last year initially he believed his weight loss was a positive development as he was preparing for the second season of tchm Motors however as his symptoms worsened including a loss of appetite and severeid reflux he sought medical help it wasn't until his castmate Jamie took him to the emergency room that he was diagnosed with stomach cancer in March despite the diagnosis Pitts remained optimistic and focused on the positives in his life don't be sad for me he said in his farewell message I accomplished my dream of buying my own store finishing season two of Netflix and marrying the love of my life pitz also encouraged his fans to be vigilant about their health urging them to seek answers if they felt something was wrong with their bodies he ended his heartfelt message with gratitude thanking his fans for their support and stories over the years his video videographer Jeff confirmed Pit's death in the comments section of the YouTube video promising to maintain the channel in honor of Pit's memory he will be missed and we will never forget him Jeff wrote Markos scooter Carrera pitco star and Co creator of TexMex Motors expressed his grief on Instagram paying tribute to Pit's talent and friendship rest in peace brother I'm going to really miss you he wrote pits passing has been met with an outpouring of love and support from fans and loved ones who have shared stories about the impact he had on their lives in a statement to TMZ Pit's family expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support saying we are not surprised that his stories touched so many we wish to thank his friends and fans for keeping these memories alive pittz is survived by his wife Randy forer and his mother Kim pittz the second season of TexMex Motors was in production at the time of his passing and his legacy in the automobile renovation community and on the show will be fondly remembered
