here for what should be moving forward a Thursday evening live show where we can talk about the game preview the game um if you guys are any club members stop by that check out the show we're hoping to maybe have some players on moving forward but yeah we're excited to S on yeah that looks like it's great hope good partnership here got a big crowd already here uh great place to come like said out and if you haven't ever been out not Jo place it's a great place to make golf course in fantastic shape great those things so come check us out together so excited to do this and and be this a regular Thursday than as we give heavy down into the meet of this football season uh with a much bigger game coming off for sure for sure this will kind of be on this will be our soft launch week a little bit um our our intern cat B are W on the on the ones and twos we'll see what he can get roll for us next in terms of setup he's already got if you're watching on the video he's already got that nice fan there at the at the bottom and if you're listening this on the on the podcast speed see how the audio comes out we'll see how we're able to mix it up this week but so yeah super super excited for this moving forward as you uh as you mentioned Jason it's going to be a lot bigger in the game this week for Au to talk Cal all week and I think the biggest the biggest point you sort of look at here is that this was the game talking about this we this was the game last week where he kind of said the offens said oh this they might be submission L here and they looked really good at that season open around offense last year if they can turn the page here and it's a different kind of game being at home that's a lot different to Trav 2500 mil but if you can be on the same page here in this game offensively I think it's going to be a good good start yeah I agree I look at it a much different test than Al May for sure so start with this group is how take what found out to to a c game C team is much better that's going to be a a a much stiffer test I think you look and there are some things you can take away from me heading under rout two that obviously can build again you're right this was the time last year we heard it this week from players okay this is kind of the proof saw last year week one they spity for Dreadful offens now your opportunity in year two to go out and see what you can de with it's C team that again I think they're known for defense justtin P serman exping secondary so there're most different challenges now for for all the head the week two but you got that home you don't have to make that Al trip that we made last year have to deal with that so uh looking forward to a 230 start set yeah I mean I think I think um first of all that trip last year was awesome uh we enjoyed everything now um except for well I enjoyed the game as well really cool Stadium once once the game started getting a little into the night you start to realize oh this is going to be a defensive match um the good news for auert is on that defensive side of the I mean I think about a guy like Sante in this game last year this is sort of is coming out already I can't remember how many tackles he had it seemed like he was in there almost every single time Jason B is going to be the game though for this off defensive line to start showing up because he free admitted it in that first game he thought they would crush the pocket a little bit better now it was really interesting getting to talk to Malik blocking this week because he said the game plan initially was set the edges make sure they don't break contain and then over the course of the game they realize all right all I'm doing fine is that start to come in the interior and and get a pass rush going so that'll be really interesting to see what they do on Saturday and how that group pered because this is going to be you know obviously a much stiffer test than in terms of the Personnel what they saw on Saturday yeah I think we saw what A's defense will be like they we had that kind of open scrimmage situation that first Saturday we didn't see any of that last Saturday cons they didn't happen um I think now you look at it much more aggressive the rotations going to be there they're going to be physical I think up front I think we'll see more Blitz more things of that nature this group to try to create more pressure on the quarterback so I think that's where it starts I think that's what we'll see but again I think we just kind of talking about um defensively for all I think um numbers came get Isaiah RS back um what does that do for a defensive line that has B they got those numbers can you create more quick in the middle um you don't want I had to Blitz all the time but I think we'll see more aggressive we blitzing more of those special packages that we didn't see much of last you Kevin ask here on Facebook uh where does AU match up favorably against Cal and be concerns I would start there and you really got to pick for with that offense but the thing is as you wrote Today Jason kind of previe and Cal they have some good guys at for they have some good players at corner this is going to be a really big test for L receivers and sort of show them because we knew that be explosive against and showing they can be explosive some defense that should be pretty good there yeah no I think it's to me that's the matchup start talk about this game I think the first thing he point to is all wide receivers in this passing game the and all the things C has 10 that have played in 200 football they got they got more experience in their secondary than all team soon when you start talking about all the games we playing that can be good back the good news is you got a lot of guys back play a lot of football s is those guys aren't in the NFL so Talent level you know I think it's a good defense but I think it's an opportunity for all them um you start talking about dealing with those guys they got some guys up front that can up some pass um I think the the thing to watch for me is going to be how Cal plays will they be straight up man and say I dare you well they say okay we saw some things last week we're not play the box for and all run the football against the 16 box and they do those things that there's going to be aest think of feeling out process for what this offense looks like withs it's not the same group the same system the same team they last year yeah last year in Brooklyn 270 yards something around that four turnovers for this team Thor said it this week on the the next round that radio program in Burmingham he said was the most unenjoyable of experience he's end been part of of course they're hoping that this is this is where you get to Jason where obviously the receiver upgrades are one thing but as super talked about this week this is sort of the show me point for the coaching P you get Derek Nixon there you get Ken Austin and you hope to have a better R PR there fall playing um and I think this is going to be sort of that first test where you're going to be able to see something like that in terms of the injury front we'll touch on this for this game like we mentioned Isaiah rapes I wonder bu of a difference that would have made last the pocket there because he did emerge as best and know we definitely expect R play seems like he couldn't play champ Anthony we saw him on Tuesday Tuesday practice expect as well KN issue as well so I'm really looking forward to that defense obviously against what should be a better obviously a week one against it's interesting too we don't know typ of quarterbacks they get to play in this game they bring in shano Rogers C does one of the most prolific quarterbacks in a group of five level really really good at nor Texas justtin will Cox talking this week they wanted to get him opportunities from listening to realx it seems like there might two back thing going on that right now Fernando mza is the starter but I think they wanted to get more opportunities game I think they to think about how much more they can add to the passing I think that's the question for them and can Chandler add some stuff so might might see more of a hey we're run a little bit more windows and maybe add some start to become a little I say one dimensional but start a little predictable do those things so I think when you look at it it's it's an opportunity again um for all those to see how they respond um can they respond to adversity for the first time Dirk this is the we'll really get to see more of what this DJ D defense looks like actually to this point s last Saturday was just anybody's defense they didn't do anything it was straight up they did rotate guys but they didn't do a whole lot of different things we'll get to see much more I think of what def about this you know this Saturday yeah Hunter as here on YouTube is the secondary the biggest thing to watch on Saturday I mean h Frey certainly has circled that group this week it was a group late in preseason camp that he expressed his con thirs about I don't think this is the best receiving you're going to see on season if you're off but at the same time especially if they get a couple guys back from injury they get some guys can push ball down field guy from Ohio State up day as well yeah they had some transfers they added to this group yeah I mean from an Al standpoint there's no question that you look at it as we started this talking about the defensive player how well the defensive front can get to the quarterback will ultimately determine what this secondary is going to look like nobody's going to cover 5 six seconds you didn't get the quarterback we've seen that all too often you know can you get to the quarterback consistently without having to send six or seven guys that will help out a young secondary now got guys the play um Jen Thompson play wood play Scot got guys that the play least the guy that started some game last year but still just guy that five SL in it's almost all play a little bit tastes SM about the sa position we saw Sylvester Smith Paris mostly last week ter too those guys combin have a handful of stns so we start talking about the secondary group in experience is the work and so those guys are going to have to play and when they do you're going to need some help those the pass rush to the quarterback make some pressure off them it's a talented group I think it's a really talented second group in off the secondary but again this Haven played before and you're going to see questions you don't see a buster team here there how many of those can you eliminate by getting to the quarterback team yeah one group we haven't talked about yet is the match with Al's offensive line I think C's defensive front might be sort of the Highline of this team for them they've got a defensive end uh David Reese who's a four fans for sixth year senior um they've got a couple guys up there who rack up the tackles for loss last season you've got a brand new starting left tackle in in Tyler Johnson a guy who earned that start we expect him to start again person Lewis here in this second game obviously you know as we talk about all the upgrades they made a receiver all the things that p b could do better the season so much of it comes back to the offensive line again this will not think SEC level defensive line for Cal but they do have a couple of dudes there and you got to make sure you get this game because you're facing a lot of yeah no it's uh it'll be a much different challenge you start talking about the step up we siid FL first of all I one big D got much bigger group they've got their own version of got talk trans Utah he a big the other side they got their own verion J on the P start his career so they got s pound inside not a ton of they only played six guys last week ex Davis they will have a ton of I do think this is a gek that will challenge us Sol Trum I think the good news for all the last week was that vill settled in and gone and when he did he became the guy they thought was going to think they have some questions and Camp not just about left T about how well was going to St can he s be the guy he thought was going to be NFL he played really well the other part of two was in preseason 10 I think he play well and I don't think first well they got J ma both those guys stepped it up so maybe a case of the guy couple guys that the game said okay the lights the only problem with Mercy Le most in the game they only had nine stns because they scored so quick and he didn't get a ton of reps I think we'll see him more Saturday I still think be I think we'll see person Le more as they continue to say okay what on best Mo he gives us the best five but I think the positive is that they feel good about left tackle and then later yeah that's that's exactly what Kevin asked right here uh ask about rotating ulous at like tackle maybe maybe less especially if you get the offense rolling with somebody like Tyler this is this is not a game like ATA where you can do those things so freely but at the same time we saw it good at the beginning of the season I mean they're they're very open to rotating this m to finding the best starting I think like said pretty good chance yeah I think so too I think the positive for this situation is they not searching for a f they're searching for the best SP that's a different story each time we've seen we've seen years in the past where they were searching for your fifth guy try to find now I think it's a matter of you're searching for your fifth guy to make your best spot I think they feel like they got seven eight may nine guys they can with on the offensive line about I got like Jan Ste I look at and come the back transfer in offensive tackle that's a guy R the chambers they feel like they can they've added guys that have made this offensive line stronger now it's about to find the best five guys get I think we'll continue to see a little bit of that rotation as they yeah we haven't even we haven't talked much about we talk a little B about C injuries but Jen I mean that is the guy in this game and historically apparently from Talking count people Justin wox the coach is not very open with injury status he K them proper on Tuesday I think that was probably the ready to get to Saturday but if you talking about earli in speak Jason if it truly is an I know we know exactly certainly something nor body you're either going to get no which would obviously be a big boost for the S defense or you're going to get Jen KN running either way I think may have caught a little bit of a bre here in terms of this game but we also don't know he could be he could be healthy already yeah I you think about it had they been up 56 to nothing last week come out of the game then it might be a different story that was a that was a ball game into and he comes out doesn't return that makes me believe that it might be a little bit more serious we never know how I would be surprised if they a little limited on Saturday what you big they got some other guys other guys like J talented um guy that was the and was that Focus for all they did a good job against him a year ago he's going to come in he also a lot last year head that game we haven't heard from him this week of course has something to do that there has been a lot of talk about what he'll do against this off defense so I think uh I think we'll see but how effective he is how health is I think that's still the question Mar get Saturday I think kind talking about it um again that's got to be the C def so we l of deals first thing that happen was you know I wonder J we're getting some comments about a maybe maybe just holding these again y'all very much for F this week we're to kind of figure things out moving forward don't necessarily have a super Advanced Audio setup just um we're excited to kind of move and see what can make the show better for you I mean injes like J don't think until Saturday get to New and we see what he's warming up um on the AL side of things J we done for pretty much every group here and how they match up what are a couple keys in this game that looking at saying Auburn needs to accomplish x y and I think most people are sort of going in the you know two to three touchdowns all the that's just so different from what we saw last year but you get the homefi B get a better off what are a couple keys that exp I big play saw big play game going to be able to connect play can you do those things against a better defense I think the thing that probably decided me most about what we saw was we saw an offensive system and SCH where they were said okay look we're take what you said they we're not going to beat our head running at seven eight in the Box got the numbers then we oneone situations and he talk about oneone that's what they look outside that's what they're going to attack and so I think offensive respect how do look at all and go the guy okay let's roll maybe a second guy top ofre Smith big Le much myself think heavily involved Sam TX is going to have a lot of motivation to come out and make most Saturday against this one team obviously about Thompson get involv there are a lot of weapons that you have to CH how do you approach that defensively but I think it's a I think a starting talking about having new weapons having guys outside and try to take away that that's question for yeah Sam Jackson the C transfer mean I asked you you tap into like him he said he had a couple defensive guys I know players or coaches um you know from the defensive side of this I think he can definitely side on Personnel obviously going against that c defense CU he was a quarterback that c going against that defens today and that group change a new coordinator though takes back to all those and BEC offensive coordinator so new coordinator on that side of the ball but yeah I wonder if maybe you get a play or two drawn up for Sam Jackson in this game and I do think he'll be more in that rotation this week I just think like I said they didn't R many parts they really able to show yeah it's it is it's an opp op for the first time I think that's exciting I think a has to last year was not he mentioning the C game other than the gold gate bridge and seeing a few things a lot fun they was a whole lot but I think look at it opportun the ability to create 101 opportunities outside and R those that's the ultimate answer they have chance windows and put up some against defense really good coordinator can't take away everything got to pick so if gu right make plays they'll have chance to make some on Saturday thanks club for having us out this is awesome has been great proud of here already forward to the the first of many many of these I yeah for sure definitely definitely looking forward to getting the audio a little better I think I think we'll have a speaker system for week te so we get some some folks here he a little bit better be good so our trial will tonight it's got a goodon so far hopefully everybody's enjoy Jas some on the uh on the recruiting train this we've been wondering about a certain decision it could be coming at some point what are you and Christian and we we have Christian forward again the two mic set up right now but what are you guys sort of hearing onight and could tonight big time back no name a nice weekend I think for the first time since really was junior year the first time back in campus all indications everything went really well so well the fact that we expect him to be back Saturday we got a big rivalry game Friday night that play um would not be surprised if we would 20 towards these first couple of weeks of his season and of a season as potential for a a I wouldn't be surprised if that now starts to come good part for me um could it be Saturday I think that's a possibility satday what it means for a class talking about quter back in place what thaty mean for other guys see this guy to get a little Crystal Ball from Tom ly Christian and others me and Chris not quite ready to jump in yet but we felt good for all now about that it's starting to grow but you look at those guys it's it's continuing and and they're starting to be a little buzz about potentially if you get up to three two maybe even one in this class out there five offensive attack there's some buzz and there's some thoughts that this thing can maybe get flose which to be incredible that the to everything that still question about pretty efforts what you have in Al and the potential for the future was being answered by the the B that these kids are coming in and uh it could go I think expl between next yeah you almost want that quarterback leader in your class you yeah that's going to be out there recruiting other people it's like you said with the guys that few decisions here and there make an absolutely top you so for this weekend expect this to be as yeah I think it call be a little bit small let expect um toar and a bunch of kids from L expect to be in Saturday watch those guys Friday so we get thoughts from I think off pretty good spot there go business last weekend did not perform very well which I think probably only cifi things for top offensive guys yeah I don't think it'll be as big with five straight games five straight home games it's going to be up and down a little bit and we'll see another big Sol is a massive I think not only open football we seen open basketball play in pick up everybody centered around pop those those games down toward yeah me it's it's an interesting schedule um who free there are obviously Ben having so many b games in a row but like you said you kind of have to learn up at the end of the year um Jason before we up here um we prediction for kind of what you think see I think all of us I think 347 looking here you have 31 16 I think we're all kind of in that range SC that your prediction what we see on Saturday yeah I think it'll be good I think we start talking about I I it's pass can you create some big plays up to the guys outside next sen later C go look we're going to have to p and take away something and normally everybody starts to take away the that's where you want to be so those oneone opportunities outside can you make those plays can you make consist can turnover they TI and Crea turnover um how did you react all those things work start talk about I think work starts can you make you offensively that's what it's always and create some of those situations so for me it's not a scrimmage game talked about for about 18 we this will be the first time stes coming yeah I mean I think this is we talk about this is a game sort of show that last year was about particular we want to leave last year last year if you get points I also think this is a game too Jason we can't discuss some of the um and like we talked about before the game turnover are s of a great equalizer like has to be well we turnovers from those main some backups there toward the end of the game but that's always when we have oural to make things closer than uh makeer than they should cou think we Z because the 25 class is includible transform so thiss out you don't anybody jump in the competition they going they're going to they're going to continue to quarterbacks each year that's what you had whatever it is it's about creating competition make somebody go win a job you surprised Jason Sim factor from from our cowside today this game we just surprised that they they drew up that first play for a rushman like that I think it just sort of goes much in this four mons he looks like a play but he already looks like somebody I think it's probably to do know ex happen I would be surprised to see kind of play this week not having to so I wouldn't be surprised to see that again early in the game maybe the start the second like get inv it's still a process for those guys want so I think you see them in see them to get get a chance to mix bit I don't think on the train whe I think but I think those guys were guys still kind of SC a little bit because even though they might they might feel good about if you're rep in the offense I think just probably go hey here's 10 to 12 things you focus on this we next week maybe it's not the whole rep of the offense especially when you have so many things like yeah I mean BR St here in the scen I just think that position for him there's a lot of guys you men tra is a little bit I think over the next couple years still have opportunity um to kind of break through them Robert lewi is a guy just really for season one game I think I agree with you I think because those down shots as much as you like to hit those those are not always going to be there I think start to see the [Music] game yeah I think it's I think Sam I think everybody he's be guy out going be I think those over guys against secondary be really important this they're going to see some things they haven't seen before they hav't seen we got so much experience I think they're try toise think they're try to that's what best seen all different things they understand so I I would think that I think a lot of I think when we start talking about coverage that's what start guys again Jason I think I think maybe we've got without Med maybe once or twice we thrown him in there but this was his breaking break last year because you the story how many percep and I I would be shelf if that number doesn't the first drive at least the first drive maybe triple over the course again at least um for this one I think Robalo Fairweather is sort of being forgotten about right now but as we talk to him I think he's okay with it because that's going to that's going to draw more match ups away from him on the defensive side of things talking to said I for the preseason he said this was the game last year where they sort of realized hey we need to get more invol need I don't think have to be I wonder this of remind still you start talking I believe that'sit it's not my game maybe I would imagine you're not going to have 65 35 so you take advantage there's some that's I think we haven't seen they're going to see [Applause] see um things open forward in offense they weren't able to do last how much thought s Saturday zero recep and turned around and played such a massive role so yeah think I think we're eag to standard size this team and Jason and everyone else our kind of on the same page 14ish Victory while at the same time realized this is a cow team that is a big step up in competition but at the same time they didn't impress migc in week one but you take week one to week two as they J in typical Round Table Fashion as we do um kind of want on some this weekend and touch on what we've seen the big one this weekend is Texas at it's it's so interesting to see defending n champions2 in their in a night and everyone's Texas favor that situation of go Mig didn't look very good it's weird the first Texas because I'm like talk about that game because they um if it does takes you back Mig their def is going to be good this they're going to can Michigan get the I don't think so can they Texas 24 to 27 not sure they do that so I think that's key to look at Michigan can they score stay they score stay they score that's um Jason in our in our picks here in our forecast you Arkansas on the road against Oklahoma State Aras sort of started that for team SC Arkansas that is going to be a game that I think all things least keep one eye on and Bobo hasn't forgotten how this is going to be a team that gets close some points they're going to be in a road spot again in two weeks get I'll be see first I'm a big I think when the especially when he has athletic they become a team stop the unknown fact they probably didn't have the other one for me is state every year state has no way they lost they a little bit more moment and set up pretty big pretty big one I think they got Tex next um it's more and how these every year where they just czy I can see a little bit of pressure this game game all those things I think this one set yeah you see that TR remember the gamees uh they lost by 42 to guts in Orlando last year has the number 16 team um they did look really good in their first game against a uming for we were we were flat out F Tennessee open NC State same thing NC state has a few games everybody's waiting for them to the next playoff team look up and they have not like the way they played last week so I think Tennessee to much off yeah and then Mississippi State and Arizona State I that to me is I kind of like the of that game if you're way out of game no idea really what to expect um any still there in Arizon state maybe can continue to get team would be really big um we were we were unanimous as well oron Bo of state but that's one that as compared to this one last week is a little bit more I would have thought he was 24 spread at now think more like seven to 10 did not blow away they don't wins but feels like it's a much different game like I said than it was week yeah Kansas State the two L is another good game this week Georgia they keep thingsbody like to this [Applause] this is get back this is a prity to go out have one of those moment okay I see a little more see you okay that's your CH you do be opportun I think deliv on a good environment too me this is uh you look back in the past few years you football straight losing seasons one thing that has not changed is every time they need to get up for a game like this every time it's an interesting opponent you know but it is an interesting game to be it's funny how though and won that game um it's going to be a white you know it's going to be a good environment on Saturday and I feel like recently maybe other game it felt like whether whe really good inment I think this is It's recruiting weekend but know situation I don't know if's going to wear white maybe the white face get back I can see a little
