welcome to the channel I'm coach and I'm your goto source for anything related to NXT and DNA and tonight we just had emergence and the show was it was very good it was a really good show I was honestly really surprised because going into it I was kind of iffy on at all but what made this show for me was the genuine surprises that came out of it like in wrestling right now in general there's not a lot of genuine surprises Everything feels planned out months in advance and while that's fine it does create a bit of boringness in the product because you know something's going to happen you're just waiting for that buildup there's nothing that just happens that's like wo this is out of nowhere I wasn't expecting this at all and we got a lot of that tonight like I was genuinely surprised I was on the edge of my seat for some of these stuff so let's look at what happened so the first match of the night which was exactly what I was talking about about these surprises is Zachary Wentz winning the exhivision championship what the hell I was not expecting that going into this match my want was for Hammerstone to win my expectation was for Speedball Mike Bailey to retain cuz his Reign has been really short but Zack Wentz won like I don't think anyone expected this I don't think you could have told me going to this pay-per-view when was going to win cuz even if you mentioned that I was just going to assume Wesley was going to come out attack him build up to their match at no mercy no he won this match he climbed up grabbed that title a totally unex expected result for me and I can't believe they went this route but it's very well deserved wz is the person that has probably benefited most from this TNA and NXT relationship yeah you can say Joe Henry but Joe Henry already had that momentum going to NXT when went to NXT he competed there had his Feud with Wesley and he's really elevated himself on the mic in doing everything so this is very welld deserved and as the least interesting member of the Rascal he suddenly has become a very part of both Brands we followed this up with a match I don't really think should have been on the pay-per-view which was Steve Macklin defeating Eric Young sure that rivalry it was a fine match you can always rely on these two to put on a good match but I don't think the build was there to put this on the pay-per-view you could have very easily put it on another episode of impact and it wouldn't have felt out of place it just didn't feel like a pay-per-view match but this does bring up a bigger question that's happening in all of wrestling right now and especially within the WWE is is it okay to have short pay-per-views with a very few matches or would you rather have a lot more matches but not have that build on it I prefer the former because I think if you have five matches on the card that's fine as long as they all feel important this match the pay-per-view didn't need it and if you took it away the show wouldn't have lacked anything and that goes for aw2 puts on way too many matches on their pay-per-view with very little impact to the overall story so it's something that's a problem in wrestling right now then once again we had the soulle Knockouts match on the card which was Jordan Grace and spitfire defeating militia and ashba elegance again a match I wasn't excited for probably the match I was least looking forward to on the card because I don't know they just combined two stories that has been going on for a very long time it's way overdone and put it into this match I think if you just put that hardcore match with Jordan Grayson Ash by Elegance in this place it would have been a lot better and a lot more enjoyable because that match overachieved a lot and was so good this match was just there was just honestly to get Jordan Grace on the card it didn't need to be here regardless once again the right outcome I don't know who's going to challenge Jordan Grace next we're probably going to see Spitfire win those knockout stag Team Championships regardless we definitely need to switch up the knocka division it is dead AF then we had the Tag Team Championships being defended ABC defended their belts against first class with their newest member Casey noo now if you remember when this exib qualifier match happened I really wanted to see more of this guy and again he did very good tonight but where was the bill to him joining like okay first class attacked ABC on this week's episode of impact and then they got the stack team championship match right all makes sense so far I wanted to see this build a bit more because I thought this could be an amazing Feud and really Elevate the stack team division but I'm fine with having it here what I'm not fine with is where does Casey noo mix into all of this like he just came out of nowhere there was no buildup to him joining no mention of him joining he just appeared he has no relation to this field at all he's just here you couldn't have given this to richan instead but okay I didn't like this at all a lot this you could have done a lot more of this is all I'm saying and you wasted it here and our last match before the main event was the entire of the system facing the baby face conglomeration of The Hardy Boys Joe Henry and Mike Santana a really good match I was very satisfied with what happened with this match but now I think it's time all of these guys move into something different like I said before I would have liked to see this match be something like a lethal lockdown match bring something like that back because it felt like there's so many people there's not going to be enough time for everybody to get their spots in and this match was really fun I was really happy seeing all these guys lots of guys I liked a really good match the system won the match which was fine I think they needed this Victory more than the baby faces needed the victory so it was good it builds them up makes them look like a threat once again I'm just wondering where is all these guys going now what's going to happen with them now and especially on the side of the baby faces because the Hardy Boys aren't signed to TNA as far as I'm aware if I'm correct here correct me if I'm wrong the hardies are on a paid for appearance basis and Joe Henry is pretty much NXT guys now if you've seen the news they have this working relationship with NXT Joe Henry's working at the performance center and everything he's pretty much already signed by WWE unofficially and Mike Santana isn't big enough of a star yet to go into a main event Feud so I'm wondering what's happening with them but with the system I'm fine with all of these guys they're all still very good all play their roles well so it's only really the baby faces I'm a bit worried about and then finally we reach the main event which was Josh Alexander going up against Dolph Ziggler Nick neth my bad for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship a 1-hour Iron Man match and it was really good it was as good as you can expect from these two guys Nick neth got the first two Falls and then Josh Alexander around 45 minutes into the match got two Falls quickly into succession but Nick neth ended up winning the match but as good as the match was nobody's going to be talking about the match itself everyone's going to be talking about what happened after the match JBL arriv in TNA what the hell nobody was expecting that I wasn't expecting it again one of those stuff where if you told me this was going to happen I most likely would not have believed you at all but it was a pleasant surprise my only question is what's going to happen is he going to manage someone obviously he's going to bring a lot of eyes to TNA and I think that's what's most important but he's not going to wrestle he's not going to wrestle I know he made an appearance in gcw I believe a while ago but he didn't wrestle and he's definitely not going to wrestle here maybe he's going to join the commentary team or he's going to manage someone that's the most likely thing but I'm curious I want to see what's happening and if you want to see what's happening you should like And subscribe and join this community because I cover TNA every week sorry for the self-promo but I just needed to but as always we've reached the end of this video and at the end of all of my videos I give the show a ranking and tonight's show was a 5 out of 10 on honestly was a bit disappointing for what it could be some of the matches shouldn't have been on the card and some of the matches honestly just didn't live up to the expectation like why was PCO and the surprise guest appearance on the pre-show that was so hyped up to be something special and you put on a pre-show why I was excited for that again I watched the pre-show just to watch that match but it felt like a waste and like Steve Macklin and Eric Young shouldn't have been on the card there tag team match shouldn't have been on the card first class versus ABC shouldn't have been on the card tonight you could have replaced those with other stuff but the surprise is definitely made out for those problems JBL appearing and Zachary WIS winning the championship genuine actual surprises that nobody expected which was very good but I also want to apologize to everybody for this review being a bit late I had a very busy Saturday so I couldn't get the video out as soon as I wanted but do not be afraid the No Mercy review will be out immediately after the show is done so like And subscribe if you'd like to see that and thank you guys for watching I love all of you have a good night day wherever you are I hope you're enjoying yourself and see you soon
