he was making a point and a bulldog for what he believed in his teams took on his Persona showed no mercy on their opponent I wasn't here then but I was one of those opponents all those years at the University of Missouri and I sat right over there behind Norm Stewart and watched the show not just the players on the court but the way those two went at it it was magical and it grew the game of basketball in fact it transformed it consider this a School record 333 wins a 51 one game homec court winning streak a combined a combined seven big eight conference regular season and big eight tournament titles nine NCAA tournament appearances including being named the number one seed in tournaments and recorded 15 NCAA tournament wins for sweet 16s to Elite 8s and unfortunately we didn't win the 1988 National Championship but we'll always remember battery his team's ranked in the top three nationally for three consecutive years and averaged 100 points a game in fact the 1988 team set an NCA record that still stands today you know the players the coaches the staff and of course you fans that help make it happen many we still love and cherish the memories and think about them today good job there those are the things you got to continue to do you cannot let the ball stick and you can't turn it over now one thing that stands out is is the fact that the Sooners have you know lost the lead on the glass which concerns me a little bit Kans it's up 2218 on the boards you have to continue to block these guys out you cannot afford to give up those second and third opportunities to Kansas to get you know a second look or a third look or something like that you got to continue to to rebound the basketball Jaylen Moore's done a good job but here's here's what happens here's what Jaylen Moore needs to do he's lead the team with five when he gets those rebounds he's got to get those elbows out and make sure he stays strong with the basketball no team that the Sooners have
