first told me the best to come you imagine these firsts go oh man I um I'm yeah I'm grateful I'm grateful without a doubt I mean you always want to expect the best right you don't go in there expecting anything else but that right but um uh very grateful uh for how it's you know um how they've been going hedi called a great game today played really great defense you know back there kwani made a great play in left um and it was uh yeah it was it was a good day yeah um definitely it's definitely you know a weapon um one thing you know pride myself on is being a four pitch pitcher right so um you know you kind of you can you can navigate a lineup you can work with whatever you need and whatever like you know whatever the the pitch before dictates so um today happen to be you know more change ups but uh it was uh it was you know props to hedgy just you know going pitch to pitch and and reading the swings and um and working with it that yeah I mean he's a uh he's a great hitter um you know and then I just mean like he's just going so good right now and um he's a tough guy to pitch too you know it's uh in that situation so uh um it's been really fun to to watch him continue to do what he does and um you know uh watch him continue to grow and you know if he does get beat he makes an adjustment and he goes forward so it's uh the way he goes about it as a in his first year in the league right it's his first year in the league yeah it's it's it's really really impressive he's got a really professional approach you been through the long rehab process that you went first win feel like your other first win yeah yeah no it it definitely is it definitely is I kind of skip my mind that uh um that it was a win uh my dad texted me afterward you know he's like hey make sure you get a ball so I gotta gotta grab one for him but no it's uh it's special um but um you know each outing each outing is uh just you know it's it's no it's just as special as the last two starts before this so um you know it was a great Series win today and uh you know we're playing playing good baseball right now and it's a lot of fun be a part of that pitch yeah yeah I bet uh I'm always gonna wait for that ball to be caught but uh but um man these guys back here they they play such great defense um our whole Dugout is full of you know um like you know both sides of the ball we we play really well so any nine guys that are out there um it's it's you know you have full confidence in them you know so it's uh it's a lot of fun you know you make every pitch knowing that man regardless of what happens a play is going to be made and it's um it's it's it's a special feeling as a pitcher I uh I should have I had a few texts from some some people back in Coralis real excited about it so yeah man Steve's been playing you know he's he's he's he never takes a playoff and it's really special you know he's what he does out there is um is you know on both sides of the ball is really impressive on thank you guys
