12th week right something like that maybe 14th week who's counting uh apparently I am apparently soly I think I think we need to address the the elephant in the room sir sure do you're your real uh with your jamat Jamar Chase take how' it do how'd it do buddy R did all right Define all right please people had some mixed opinions about a very edited take but we'll take the 220,000 plus views going into today I it blows my mind I thought if you when you asked me you like I want to post this Jam Chase thing I was like dude if we get 5,000 I'll be impressed my that was kind of my ceiling you know not the uh not the floor for any of this but yeah I think our floor was three views cuz we knew that we'd have a friend or two that would take a look at it sorry I'm developing a little bit of a cold my nose is running so my voice sounds funny tonight I know and um you may see me sniffle a little bit and touch my nose that'd be that'd be why but I mean I think it know I think we're just doing the right thing honestly I think we're up to something over here and the more people that tap in we know what we're up to so and and I hope that they actually stay for the full show and they get the full takes and not just the one to two minute tick tick tocks um Instagram reels or YouTube shorts because obviously we post the same thing across all three um no we put the full shows on YouTube next day or as close the next day as we can remember to yeah because let's be real we uh we don't remember all too well but that's what makes us human and makes us liked at least I think The Branding also we're two dudes doing this on the side while working through working in the sports industry and I think we need to remember that for ourselves more than anything because let's be real our industry is tough it kicks your ass it kicks your ass all the time but if we um if we accept where we are in life and what we're doing and um I think we [ __ ] kill it buddy yeah you know one step at a time then I got some motion in the uh Resurgence to a front office Chase so to speak and I got some other motion just for uh some more content work so and that's I like where my trajectory is I was gonna say and I know this goes back to week one but like part of the reason we started this is you were like hey I want to do a podcast and you know that I'm pretty okay Storyteller so I think that's why you why you uh pitched me as your other person plus you knew I had a slight following on Twitch and we could have something instead of nothing to start with in fact we're building the brand everywhere else pretty organically I think I can't be oh dude I'm with the fact we're at we had one viral bomb three months into this I I can't wait to see what else we're up to dude I hope I hope we have way more where we come can look back at this in x amount of time whatever x amount of time May wind up being and we can say 220,000 that's like an hour you know like that'd be cool that'd be would cool I can't wait to explain this in interviews now that uh you know I I just wanted an outlet to put my takes and uh it's kind of led to some odds and ends so yeah that this is what this is for both of us it's just us unleashing takes that our group chat would uh not very much tolerate I want to say this is very much just us in our group chats um and just in general the conversations we have playing Call of Duty or whatever whatever you may have and we yeah and that's part of the reason we like let's take this concept and move it to a podcast and I if you I want you to know if when you make this is short if you don't take the SpongeBob thing let's take mikini bom and move it somewhere else uh I'll be very disappointed in you yeah speaking of group chats we're going to go back for a minute right all right do you ever see what I put in the uh one of our fantasy group chats the the main fantasy group chat the main one the one that we actually pay money to play in not the other one yep so uh did you see what I replied to what somebody said in there um I've seen all your guys so it was the picture of Marvin Harrison being left wide open with nobody within 15 yards of him yeah the the double XP joke yeah that was that was a great joke no that was that was a good one um that was a great uh he was probably the ironically he was the low light of my team and that says a lot because again I have tesm Hill and I start tesm Hill every week more importantly some dude lost to me and I had Marv Marvin Harrison Jr and tasm Hill who combined for 5.8 points this week they TM had 4.4 and Marvin Harrison at 1.4 they combined for 5.8 points and I won by more than 5.8 points which means I could have I could have left those slots empty and I won by enough um I was checking the I was checking YouTube earlier today just to update our uh numbers and all that uh-huh so somebody's not not as big on TM hell as we are around here and the slander of which I'm not not tolerating at this time wait wait someone is not high on clearly the biggest meme in all of our group chats ever that Tamm Hill is the goat because he once a year has a 30-point game and I just hope that I remembered to start him that one game and it's usually week three which stinks cuz I'm playing you week two so taes if you're going to watch this somehow just don't do anything this week Tes if this is if you ever had a week to score three touchdowns throw for two and you know what just get an interception because apparently you play defense now too um this would be the week he also plays Left bench a whole lot so I mean he'll probably be sitting there a little bit I mean he doesn't get to play the Panthers every week and that's that's disappointing I trying to find the comment but it's like somebody's just like how didn't oh here we go you can Le taste and literally undrafted in any League that intelligent fantasy players are in claim him off waivers if he's going in the first 13 Rounds your leak is your league is cheeks and uh well so first of all the leagues I'm playing in in the three leagues that that I'm in Tason got drafted in all of them yeah uh well because he's actually good first all he's he's not a traditional tight end he's not a traditional quarterback especially now that he's able to be slotted in that tight end slot dude the fact he plays some snaps at quarterback some snaps at running back some snaps at tight end he's remember when tight ends used to get four points and you'd be like dude that was a good week for my tight end tasm Hill did it this this past week and he didn't even play that much also I'm pretty sure everyone drafts T him as a second tight end so he's usually getting drafted in around 14 or 15 because fantasy drafts are 15 rounds typically so I mean we we're gonna defend that man with our lives I think that's what I'm learning from us today I'm I'm just saying also intelligent fantasy player doesn't exist because you are hoping that a guy doesn't get hurt you it's fantasy football is all about hope there is no like you can have strategy you can be like I'm taking actually good players but people like TM still will have a 33o week out of nowhere which brings his average total points up and then he looks good to your your intelligent fantasy football players I'm I'm one that drafts my fantasy football team off like the knowledge I have I have very limited time to to do any studying or anything especially now that I'm older so a lot of the guys I wind up picking are either they were either good five years ago or they they happen to have a couple big weeks a year and I'm like I just need to hope that their big weeks line up when I need it to be and they don't all have their big week at the same time I feel like if anything you take a fringe guy and then you just go off of that like I think that's when you call yourself a savant not so much not so much just like the guy who commented that seemed like he has like six spreadsheets for every League that he's in well so going through slot so and I get that people take fantasy football incredibly ser seriously I take it seriously like I'm not going to slack on my team I say that we'll to check again in 5 weeks and I'll be like oh I haven't set a lineup in 2 weeks um and I'll still be winning by the way CU I just picked a good team but like you took mcaffrey 1-1 be pretty much consensus 1-1 did did he play this week no he didn't also like when have you ever seen a player get announced out an hour before the game starts very very infrequently especially for the Monday night game Thursday night Thursday night that happens all the time I I will say Thursday night if it was a Thursday night game I would like oh that makes sense whatever you would have had time though to find someone find someone I think he probably tweaked it warming up if you want me to be honest yeah no that's he definitely was going to um it felt like he was going to see he felt in warm-ups and then they made a decision but just like but you see that case all the time but it's not like it doesn't get reported that late yeah yeah I think I think most people have a good sense for like what a guy C is capable of um and where he's going to be on that given night or day right again Thursday Thursday an before the game you're like oh that sucks but I can I can slot someone in right now so that he doesn't play and then I can I can play the waiver wire game I mean you know about a Thursday night injury probably by like right now or like 10: a.m. tomorrow morning like you have that time window as you were saying no that's that's completely fair I'm just saying in in general um I forgot to turn my air conditioner off like I said I was going to before we started this oh well um but all right that's like Tamm Hill also if you're in a bigger I'm going to go back to this if you're in a bigger league right like if you're in an eight-man League yeah of course Tas Hill is probably not getting drafted dude if you're in like a 14 plus Team league tasm Hill is actually a viable tight end can you think of 13 tight ends that are going to be consistently better than him honestly if you're not like the second or third tight end on the death sh then you're not getting any you're not getting much cuz like yeah there's 30 NFL teams but I really can say I can think of like four tight ends in the NFL like honestly I can think of like four of them and I'm like ah well he's good at football or he's in a system where he's involved correct so I think I think that there's there's obviously good tight ends in in the NFL but and I'm not saying takes him to one of the top 10 ends but I think the fact he's such a versatile Talent taking a position like tight end in fantasy football that just doesn't historically score a ton of points and I could be completely wrong um but I feel like until really gronowski came around were there any tight ends that in your fantasy football drafts prior to gr Kowski being in the NFL they you were like oh I need a tight end pretty early and it's not kind of a weird throwaway position that I just hope gets two points a week I'm trying to think of like pre grank but that'd be like Tony Gonzalez and Antonio Gates like that crop like that yeah end of that era and then the start of the gronowski and the George KD and and Kelsey and Ern exactly so when that when Kelsey and gr came in they they Dynamic of the position I I agree and I think I think but I still think your tight end is one of the historically most under under drafted positions like yeah Kelsey's going to go high KD's usually going to go High Mark Andrews is going to go pretty high but that's because they're the guys right now yeah like they're the top four off the board in that group and will be for but then when you're drafting your tight end if you're down the 10th round or later and you still need a tight end you be like I have no [ __ ] clue who I'm gonna get I would honestly that's why I took ta I took tesm the first year because he had switched tight end the first year I had him he was the QB tight end so he was able to slot tight end but he was still taking reps at QB because they kind of did quarterback by committee which was super weird at the saints that that year we were both at the arena team and it worked out beautifully he would get five 10 points every week and I was like great that's that's tight end level points yeah he's not the most player but he's he's doing the job so that's that's why I took him but uh do you want to stay on the football train while we're on it yeah might as well might as well and do you want me to continue having just heated takes that that you've heard forever and the world is realizing aren't actually that bad of takes I mean I was I wanted to run through the uh I just wanted to run through the week two slate little uh hot gut I can't speak now little hot let's see let's see what hook you come up with for this all right so here here's what I'm thinking Alex right picture this it's week two you got to gut check yourself I'm telling you right now just go off the rip who who you want on Thursday night Buffalo or Miami I actually know that that's the game so and and why like not too much thought just off the rip why would you take who taking Buffalo cuz Josh Allen is a monster against the Dolphins that's fair but isn't the game in Miami doesn't matter Jos hen so I'm I'm actually on the other side of this I really am I'm thinking uh the Dolphins I think they are especially the last couple years have been very good at home and as long as Tua doesn't get a concussion what he's prone to do between him Wadd and Tyreek and then if Mozart decides to show up that'd be [ __ ] cool I think the Dolphins have that I think Dolphins win by three I'm gonna I'm gonna put that out right here Dolphins by three I think it would be a ones score game but in favor of Buffalo Okay so we're within we're within 14 points of each other realistically swing wise yeah all right I'm going to go down sorry we're GNA go down the one o'clock we're GNA go down the Sunday slate and then work our way to Monday night call a rra all right sounds like a plan all right so you got San Francisco going to Minnesota oh 100% give me the 49ers I think they looked really good uh Monday night and I think if you do have as we mentioned CMC didn't play last week and they still looked really good last week two days ago um and they still looked really good yeah they played the Jets but they still looked really good and I uh I would be confident that they're probably gonna probably G to do something special yeah I'm I'm with you on that one I think just the way that they everybody was saying taking mcaffrey out of there might have shifted the game plan it seems like it really didn't and if it did the Jet's throat I'm just saying if it did shift the game plan you know what it showed me that they're not they may be monetarily all in on maccaffrey but talent wise they're not all in on mcaffry they're trying to diversify so that if he gets hurt if he has to be out for an extended period of time they can still be competitive and that's what makes a Super Bowl team a Super Bowl team if you want me to be honest yeah so that's why I'm taking the ners is that if mcaffry is out again they prove they can play without him they can play a sound offensive game without him there because you know the defense will show up oh yeah and that's the other thing they just have a fantastic defense moving down the Slate the Seattle Seahawks travel to the New England Patriots you know what I think all our all our Boston friends will be really proud of me because For the first time in my life I'm going to say give me the Patriots um I think jacobe brette looked fantastic in Cincinnati last weekend um I think if if they can recreate that with Seattle that they'll give him a good game if nothing else hopefully I think it'll be a good game I I do think Seattle is GNA take it because they got a lot more they got a lot of lot more Firepower on that offense but also yeah you don't know what what the Patriots are going to do week and weit week out at this point they're they're just so much of a raw team that you just don't know I I do agree but remember the cawks are playing at essentially 10:00 in the morning they won't have been here very long and that's that's a three-hour time zone difference how you're feeling at 10 a.m. is very different than how you're feeling at 1 p.m. if it was an evening game I would give the Seahawks the advantage but I think being in that earliest slot actually plays to the Patriots strength I think just you know my pick with Seattle I think I just like what they have offensively over that past defense so that's fair that's what it comes down to me is just you know Gino's got a better offense you know brette made it work but will it bounce back I have no idea but I'm gonna go with my gut on that no that's fair I I respect going with the gut I think you have to next got the New York Giants visiting the Washington commanders um can I just say I'm pretty sure the Biggest Loser is the fans but it the commanders will win I am taking the commanders on this one you thought I was gonna pick the Giants I saw you typing there sir come on yeah I'm with I'm with you uh Washington should take that I think the way that jayen Daniels played I'm gonna get into that later so but jayen Daniels looked incredible this is I'm actually tying into one of the takes I've had for a while I think Daniel Jones is garbage I've said that I thought he was garbage for a long time uh 20 I I can tell you actually I told an ex-girlfriend's cousin at um her grandmother's house while we were in New York City one time that I thought the worst decision the Giants have made drafting in the last 10 years was drafting Daniel Jones because they went from Eli Manning to Daniel Jones essentially and and that was the biggest downgrade at a position ever and then this is morphed into my my Baker take that the Browns are the next biggest downgrade in position taking desun Watson from Baker going from Baker to Deshawn Watson huge downgrade huge huge downgrade so we are in agreement uh Commander taking that one oh yeah 100% I I again I don't trust Daniel Jones's skill and he doesn't have seon Barkley anymore to pretend that he's good at football all righty we got the Chargers going down to Carolina playing the Panthers all right who do you have we'll have you make your pick first here I took the Chargers not a whole lot to say there um so I don't look good so I was going to say I think the Panthers look so bad that they might be just so bad the Chargers don't know how to play against them and they get lulled into a comfort too early in the game so actually give me the Panthers I know these guys are professional athletes but it's week two it's a again it's a long travel game it's kind of the same uh thought I have for the Patriots it's not necessarily the better team's going to win I think it's actually probably the opposite it's one team is significantly better than the other team to a point where you it's like when your power five schools play an F FCS School Appalachian State uh Michigan 2005 at the big house for example um or 2006 I don't remember the year exactly regardless Appalachian State beats Michigan right that big big stunner in college football still talk about it to this day and it's been almost 20 years so that's that's why I I think that's why the Patriots and the Panthers actually are going to get wins this week which by the way that means the Patriots will be 2-0 and that's just sickening to me it's sickening to me too man because the fans are gonna think they're backing it's just going to be unbearable to live around here so I think that'll make week three so much better when they finally lose I'm starting the video with the Panthers and Patriots are winning one that's going to that's fine that's fine I'll take I'll take that smoke I cuz I Al also said I think they're so bad that they're going to get lucky again and win hey hey man we got we got to start the line we got to start with some kind of hook right exactly exactly all right next up the Saints are playing Dallas oh give me the Saints 100% my boy T's gonna go off Dallas looked great against Cleveland and I'm very upset that Cleveland got killed by them that see the way that the Browns played on defense surprised me they usually have a very Stout defense but the way that Dak played against them you know that offense is couldn't be stopped I really don't think Cleveland like showed up like they needed to um and the few minutes of the game I watched I was like oh this sucked I was glad that I don't have cable and anyway to actually watch the game because the few minutes I watched were so painful they they were so painful then for that reason just give me a Dakota Prescott and a Dallas cboys again I'm I'm gonna say I think the Saints play very well at home I think it's in Dallas so I I will tell you that ta's 33 Fantasy Point game last year did come against Dallas at yeah it did come against Dallas so at Dallas too it was at Dallas I couldn't remember if it was at Dallas I was going to say in a dome but I mean both of them are in a dome so all righty moving down we got the Indianapolis Colts going up to Lambo on the Green Bay Packers the Packers looked shitty on Friday didn't they but they play all right but then Jordan loves me just blew up on him look you don't I'll tell you the same thing my high school football coach told me you don't need knees to play football which was a lie I think he just thought I was faking because I had bad knee issues um and by the way I was a corner I wasn't a good corner but I was a corner um Believe It or Not 4 foot1 white kids not great cornerbacks because that's what I was freshman year of high school I'm not responding to that one that's what I was for freshman year of high school I've grown a foot since then I'm still not a great quarterback I have okay hands but I'm just short and slow and weigh 260 lbs so yeah uh give me give me Indie I think the Colts are going to be really all righty all right you might have I think I know your answer to this but you're Cleveland Browns okay I'm going down to Jacksonville play the Jaguars if if Cleveland loses in Jacksonville can Deshawn Watson just like retire please like I know Jacksonville isn't the same team they were before Trevor Lawrence came I'm well aware of that but I'm still a Browns fan and I'm still going to hold out hope that they win because I don't think they should have lost last week and I'm just I like Trevor lawren as a quarterback so I'm going ride with Jacksonville and that offense so no I think he's great this game will be closer than last week I think I do think it would be closer I'm hoping Cleveland just does their stuff and and they show that they're a much better team than they were it's really disappointing to say the Steelers are the only team that won last week and as a result they're winning the division the team I think is arguably the worst in the division and it's nothing against you I know you're a Steelers fan but I really think the steart are the worst team in that division this year controversial I think I think we're mid again I agree I don't think you're bad I just think the AFC North is that good the Bengals looked like crap I thought they were going to be the best team in the division I hate saying that I may live in Cincinnati but I'm a Browns fan and it hurts me to say the Bengals are good um it really does I really thought it was going to be Bengals Ravens Browns Steelers that was going to be the finishing order of the AFC North and I mean it still could be right it's been one week but yeah if last week's anything to go by o all of the AFC North looks bad except for the Steelers and the Steelers don't look great we can't score touchdowns but I'll I'll vent about that after this week but um yeah that wraps it on that game Jacksonville for me Cleveland for you and then we're on to the Jets playing the Titans uh is it in New York or is it in um Tennessee believe it's in Nashville all right with it being in Nashville give me the Titans I realized the Jets didn't win this week when they were on the road so let's just say they're not going to be good on the road this year this year that's that's like I said it's gut check it's it's going with the gut so all right I'm gonna totally disagree with you and take the Jets here because I think Aaron Rogers is gonna play pissed off football and he's gonna try to Scorch every inch of that defense in Tennessee that's that's fine but how old is he how hurt is he like we he'll be fine is Bree Hall gonna fumble on the fourth offensive play again this this week like those are questions no I realized that was like his second career NFL fumble and it's really kind of hilarious that it came on the fourth play when Rogers season ended last year on the fourth play I just no I just think the Jets are going to turn it around because their offense need figured out but I think the defense will have fun against the Titans offense and trying to they'll shut that down so no that's fine I I I respect that I just the Jets need to prove something to me because they proved absolutely nothing to me against the 49ers on Monday night I mean they were playing a buzz saw so it was kind I kind of expected the game to be like that fair but I still I'm still going to hold out not hope but but hold out skepticism that they're good or bad until I get a couple weeks in and I mean realistically that's with everyone okay your favorite quarterback in the league Baker Mayfield all right Tampa Bay is winning I don't care who the [ __ ] they're playing playing the Detroit Lions oh again I realized Detroit's actually good and they want to know why they're really good on defense but dude Baker is playing like the guy the Browns drafted bis Baker Mayfield is the this is the quarterback he was meant to be this is the quarterback I always thought he was going to be and God damn it am I angry that he is so good because Cleveland let him walk for nothing for absolutely nothing I'm with you like you the Lions did have a very strong opponent in the Rams took him to overtime to get the game done but I I caught the end of it that Bucks game and B when Baker Cooks he's he's cooking and I think they'll carry it on until this week there's no reason you can't convince me otherwise of that unless I'll tell you happens obviously will get into my whole take on Baker but had he the Browns quarterback last year in the playoffs and not Watson or whoever the hell played at that point yeah it was Flaco actually I love Joe Flaco too don't get me wrong um I think Baker would have won that game and it sucks to say it sucks to say because I like Joe Flaco but yeah I think the I think the Buccaneers can actually upset the Lions this week so I'm very comfortable with that pick all right all right you ready so next week is Vegas is going to Baltimore he it hurts me to say it but I think the Ravens are going to win they're just too good at football and it sucks to say like you probably feel the same way right I saw you type Baltimore already for you it sucks to say we don't I mean realistically the only team in the AFC North I don't like is Baltimore I don't love when the Steelers win but I can respect them because they have a history of being good and the Bengals it's it's cool to see like obviously they're PA Brown's other team and they're a tiger themed team in my high school was the Tigers so I did always kind of have a soft spot for The Bangles despite being a Browns fan yeah I'm going take the ridens bouncing back um I do think they should have woned Kansas City but you know having big toe out of out of bounds is kind of a out of bounds kind of play again if his feet were one half shoe size smaller he would have been fine or if we wore white shoes but no exactly yeah but I think the Ravens write the write the ship and they'll they'll get cooking with a with this one I think they got too much uh Firepower and their defense is still one of the best units in the league whereas Vegas is kind of in this weird limbo of rebuilding and trying to figure out what their situation is MH no I I agree a thousand per. all right we're going to shift to the Rams playing Arizona it's a tough one because the Rams are really good and Arizona is really mid so here's the thing is that pukan Thea is on IR that doesn't seem to fix anything I did see that actually this afternoon does that just mean Cooper Cup's a bigger piece I think Cup's gonna get a lot more Target share but and he's been fantastic the last few years so is that actually a downside to be Rams I don't I really don't know but I guess we're going to stick with my theme of picking the do and I'll take the Cardinals sparingly or beg begrudgingly back there and I I like if I'm wrong great if I'm not wrong great I have um Marvin Harrison Jr on my team maybe he'll get more than two passes maybe he'll get two or more receptions rather that'd be kind of cool yeah I'm going r with the Rams despite nkua being the guy that he is I think Stafford's going to rely on the connection with the cup and then just kind of spread the ball outside of that but I think there'll still be too much for Arizona to really kind of to contend with because KY ky's kind of shown like if he's not kind of has moments where he doesn't want to throw the ball and I think Harrison fell victim to that uh no I I get that and I think because I think honestly the matchup Harrison had having um what's his name he died on the field I can't think hlin Tomar Hamlin um as his match up and again significantly better football player than I've ever been or I would could ever dream of being uh but I I still think Harrison should have gotten more share and if if Murray if Murray's not going to look his way that's a big big big bad T sign big bad sign so that's a problem but I'm still G to say maybe Kyler Murray there's no double XP weekend this weekend maybe he he pays attention to football this week we a c more weeks till the new Call of Duty comes out so that's my hope at least I could damn wrong and I'd be pissed but if I'm wrong I'm wrong if I'm right I'm right right that's why we do uh we're doing gut checks exactly I I trust Stafford over Kyler Murray just the fact Stafford's done the damn thing and no I agree one big piece of that offense he'll he'll put somebody in a position to Mir puk's production so I don't see it as that big of an issue I think just maybe it's because he was the Detroit quarterback for so long and Detroit was so bad for so long that I I always have that hesitation dudes want to Super born I'm still like is he that good is he the guy so that's kind of the other thing and there's no like reasonable basis to it it's just my gut all right moving on um all right so we're going to stick with your second favor Ohio football team okay Cincinnati Bengals are going CH win Arrowhead the Chiefs are going to win I hate to say it I really do I like the Chiefs winning is the most boring storyline in sports like I'm a Yankees fan and it's like if the Yankees just T kept winning world series after 200 two and like if they had just won out through the 2000s I would have like gotten bored of it like I feel like that's where Kansas City is right now and that's kind of how I felt about the Patriots oh wow cool the Patriots want another Super Bowl like so unfortunately I think I think especially how burrow and and the whole crew looked um I think the bankel are just gonna have a tough one and I hate to say it I really do I would love to be wrong about this one I would I'd be happier than hell to be wrong about this one yeah I mean the the Chiefs proved that they didn't step off the gas at all and the Bengals just look like they are so confused on offense with who's healthy I was gonna say I the point I will give in the Bengals favor is a lot of my friends and co-workers that are Bengals fans have mentioned the Bengals have had a slow start the last few years so their week one two don't usually look too good um so that's the other reason I'm kind of picking against the Bengals I mean this match up is maybe in a month or so from now it' be I'd probably but oh if this was a week eight match up I'd be all in on the Bengals if this was a week eight match up I'd be like oh dude give me the Bengals like they'll have figured their [ __ ] out by then and it's again for the Browns and the Steelers you got to win in those early weeks because the Bengals will figure this [ __ ] out by week eight yeah that's like you T Higgins in practice today they're talking about Burrow's risk not being 100% yeah I think is kind of what you need I think it's gonna be week I think Jamar is gonna get clamped again this week but that's just my take on that but I think um Kansas City is just proving that they can bring in anybody they want and they're still going to be on their own level and I think that's why they're just going to take this one and it's not going to be very close again I would love to be wrong I would absolutely love to be wrong and see the Bengals come out this week and with fire but if they do great if they don't great like I'm not going to hold my breath let's let's leave it at that stay in division with the one and0 my favorite NFL team the Pittsburgh Steelers going to Denver to play the Broncos um in the famous words of uh Russell Wilson Broncos Country let's [Music] ride also I think it'd be great for Russell Wilson to finally start delivering more wins to the Broncos uh like he promised them when he signed there so this could be him making good on his promise so I year and a half late I'm more on the tangent of this offense need to figure out how to score a touchdown because the defense will will handle itself no your defense is awesome the the Pittsburgh defense is fantastic and I I'm impressed with them I really am but I think I do think they'll pull this out still they'll find a way to pull it out like they always do I think I think the advantage of being at a mile high though that's huge for Denver that's like all they got the balls the ball's going to float a little more that's the thing you have to realize the ball's going to float a little more I think it'll hurt Pittsburgh on offense more then it'll hurt Denver on offense and I think that be Steelers I think the Steelers are gonna slam the ball on the ground that's all they're really going to do so so it's going to come down I don't know have you ever been out out to Denver I flew there once but I didn't stay so I uh I when I was in high school uh going to my senior year yeah it was 2013 I went hiking in New Mexico and we stayed in Denver and we went up to the top of Pikes Peak and [ __ ] let me tell you I was in decent shape these guys are in Elite shape that I could and my friends that were in better shape than me had a harder time because the air was that much more thin your lungs worked that much harder the guys in Denver have been in Denver all summer they they're way more used to it I think especially early season with there's less injuries I think I think the thin air advantage is really there the advantage quite literally for Denver is coming out of thin air all right Sunday night Sunday night is going to be Chicago going down to Houston give me the Texans they're too good they can't lose to the Bears I say that watch we're gonna come back next week did you see that Chicago absolutely waxed Houston I don't think so the bears got their own issues to figure out so that's why I'm taking Houston too but um I I'll get into this when I talk about Caleb Williams and jayen Daniels but I think um I do think the Bears have come out a bit stronger but CJ strad and that offense D they're gonna be they're gonna just do what they're going to do all year and just be unreal to watch and I can't wait to watch that so no that's that's perfectly fair and to wrap up Monday night Battle of the birds Philadelphia and Atlanta just eels the Falcons aren't good I'll I'll say it with a straight face the Falcons just so I think that's the other reason maybe I rate um the Saints so much higher because like their division is the Panthers the Buccaneers who are actually good now and the Falin and it's like you maybe have one of those teams that's good a year you maybe have one of those teams that's good a year so it's pretty easy to be that second team and sneak into the into a wild card conversation you [Music] know so again this is this is just going right off the gut not thinking into it too too deep wraps up week two in the NFL yeah you want to talk your uh Jayden Daniels Caleb Williams Point sir no I'll let you cook on Baker first and then we'll cook there so I've uh I've alluded to it quite a bit um and you've heard it since you met me in 2021 and I can tell you people heard it before before that I said it cuz what we were probably at work when desan Watson officially signed with the Browns right when he got traded yeah or yeah traded rather [Music] like I was pissed and everyone was like oh but you're getting a better quarterback I'm sorry if you're a dude and you haven't played in two years it will have been over two years since you touched a football at that level and you're going to try to step into a starting role in the NFL I don't care if you're Tom frak and Brady it's not going to be good for you you've you've downgraded automatically just just automatically you've downgraded I don't care who you are I think if it's been that long since you've touched the football played a competitive down like that you've downgraded and I think Baker wasn't the greatest but you know what he won a playoff game who's the last Browns quarterback to do it whoever the hell the quarterback was in 2002 that's the problem the Browns let Baker walk essentially because they wanted toan and Deshawn was not the answer I thought Baker was going to do the things Baker is doing currently and I said if Cleveland just gives him the last year of the contract and he chooses to walk that would suck but I I'd understand and I'd respect Cleveland's front office so much more but they obviously didn't and sure Cleveland made the playoffs last year but uh their quarterback was Joe flacko it was not deshun Watson and then they go out and they get James Winston nothing against jamus Winston but same thing they're going from a dude to a dude that hasn't played in a little while so now the top two quarterbacks of Cleveland haven't played in a little while dude that's not a recipe for success and I really wish they had St kept Baker around also side note I think Baker flaca would have been one of the most deadly QB rooms you could have in the NFL last year that's just a complete side note but I firmly believe that so that's that's kind of my Baker um take that he is way better than Cleveland let him be should we move on Sir yeah so I I'll cook here we're on football talk so I was we were alluding to it as we were going through the games and I'm G to go in a little more details here that I think in terms of overall NFL storyline my favorite one that I'll probably be paying more attention to is how jayen Daniels and Caleb Williams play comparatively great both guys are Heisman winners right and they're the top two picks in the draft but their situations the situations they got into are very different but I think that's what makes it almost a perfect match for both of them right no that's fair so prior to drafting Caleb Williams Chicago brought in Keenan Allen DeAndre Swift and Romo dunai in the same draft Caleb but that's already they had DJ Moore and Cole K already there so you have three receivers that can go out get the ball and just let him do his thing and then you got a solid running back in addition to guys that were already there and if you're looking at the Bears highlights from week one I'm leaving that game to be pretty void I don't think that's a true representation of who he is as a quarterback and I'm not gonna let that win my decision but also you got to realize like the Bears they want to win they're kind of entering this win now kind of mindset so they're kind of relying on that that they're kind of relying on Caleb Williams's shoulder that as the quarterback and I think that's kind of where the the Bear Ship is going to go south should it get to that point whereas jayen Daniels is brought into a an offense that's very young with a very high upset thing is the commanders are rebuilding we all know that they're always rebuilding unfortunately but the offensive unit there isn't terrible I think that's what people are kind of looking at is like they don't have a true one receiver in my mind ER McLaren's very solid but you don't have like like a a Jamar Chase type you don't have a CD lamb you don't have like a guy like that uhhuh but he kind of compensates for that with the fact that he can just tuck and run whenever he he has the has a play call or he just goes out and does it doesn't really matter dude he he went punch for punch with Baker for the most part until the Buccaneers pull away no I agree with you but I think the biggest thing here is that you're going to forget that both quarterbacks are rookies I can't really emphasize that enough is that they are going to make the rookie mistakes as they still adjust to the NFL as these guys played in the biggest conferences in college football you're still going to learn things as you adjust the NFL game doesn't matter where you went to school there's always going to be this adjustment period no matter what position you are what team you're on and really kind of what how you're adjusting to the game on your own personal level no I agree with you 100% I mean these guys are the in the front running for the offensive rookie I think they will they'll kind of stick there for most of the season but we're only in week two we're going into week two as of recording and there's a lot of football to be played I can't pick right now but if you want to let us know if you're on on Caleb's side Jaden's side or you're going to wait and see like I am love to let hear your take on it and we'll probably revisit this halfway through the season no I like I like that plan we definitely should be revisiting there the storyline of the Season as a result of um what they're doing because excuse me I uh obviously just sneezed really big there um so now I have all the FL in my throat so that's why my voice has changed again but I I think we definitely should revisit it as the season goes on like we looking at them going into week two let's let's look at them again in like two three weeks right so they'll have a few more weeks and we'll be able to kind of see what sort of story they're building in the NFL um at least as rookies and then yeah just that's the thing is like you guys are rookies they're going to have that curve it's just a matter of how they handle it if they just kind of take it and stride I think they they'll be fine go game in game out but if they it just depends on how they adjust to things not going their way either so no I I get that and I think that's not a that's not a bad take um I'm very interested to see how their careers pan out um because I mean how many Heisman obviously pretty much every Heisman Trophy winner ever has made it to the NFL and I realize that's a pretty big swooping statement and someone's going to call me out and be no you know ex player from 19 53 never made it to the NFL but the vast majority of your Heisman Trophy winners make it to the NFL and I'll use two Cleveland Browns quarterbacks who to this day they've both been the quarterbacks in the last 10 years for the Browns both have won their Heisman in the last 10 years couldn't have had more different um final career paths uh Johnny Manel who I also wasn't hyped about I I really kind of [ __ ] hated Johnny Menzel and I was really mad the Browns took him and Baker one of them is a starting quarterback in the NFL today one of them is pretty damn successful and I'm I'm said he's not a brown anymore the other one the last I knew he was playing in the CFL and I don't even know if he was starting and again significantly better football player than I will ever be ever could be I will not I cannot emphasize that enough but I liked Baker I liked his personality and and who he is as a guy and I was super happy when the Browns got him I can't tell you I felt the same about Johnny Football as they called him yeah I mean what was I gonna say I don't know I can't reach your mind I mean I think when you look at all the award winning guys from college football and how they carry over like they look like as sure deals as you can get then put them in the league for a bit and then you just see how they don't they do or don't adjust and it's just all a matter of time with all that I think I think every sport is that way I think um I think because we only really have the NFL with football guys go straight from college to the NFL They Don't Really wind up in a minor league ever because like yeah obviously guys end up in the the CFL in the in the USL I think is what they call it now that spring league and then in the arena leagues obviously that's that's a location these guys wind up in playing but it's different like I feel like baseball guys will go from being the I don't even know what baseballs award is I think it's the golden spikes for college or that's one of the awards at least for college baseball guys go from winning the golden spikes to go and play doublea baseball hockey's kind of the same right you go if you're the HBY Baker winner you're probably going straight to the NHL but if you're a HBY Baker finalist you could be a minor leager like you could be a career minor Leaguer and be a HBY Baker finalist which means you were V voted what one of the top four or five guys in the in college hockey and dude if you're you might just be a minor leager so I think that's one thing football doesn't really have I think you have such a divide between the cream of the crop and the average dude with football and I think part of it is because it's so positional but let's let's definitely move on from this because someone's going to be like oh that's a hot take well it is but that's my personal opinion and that's that's what we're here to do spew our personal opinions and if you like them great if you don't like them great uh you're entitled to your own opinion but let's shift gear um to something that got announced what at 850 two days ago in the morning so like just a little over 48 hours ago um yeah the pwhl they announced there's six teams uh you have the boston Fleet the Minnesota Frost the Montreal Victory the New York Sirens the Ottawa charge and the Toronto scepter uh honestly I can tell you with all honesty this is the only Boston team I'm a fan of was super disappointed they W up falling to Minnesota in the final uh this past year for the inaug season but uh I want to go through the logos with you Alex I have them up so that you can see them um I'll tell you straight up my least favorite logo is the Ottawa charge and it's it's nothing against them I think it's a good logo overall it's just I feel like it kind of looks like one of the players I forget who it was they had the players like they the rookies in the NHL draw the logo and that's kind of looked like his Flames logo so that was kind of and like maybe it's because the g-league has has a team the can't in charge um they're a Cavaliers affiliate I just it's not it's not the logo for me um and it's not a bad logo by any means I think it's kind of cool um the wheels kind of the O is kind of like a wheel charging and it's kind of like a half o c and but I think it's kind of hard to because of the slit and I'm like is it an O is it a C Is it supposed to be something that's both um my second least favorite one is the Toronto scepter which I'm pretty sure I said their name before um I think it's cool because it looks kind of like a scepter and with the T and then the S but as something I was watching on YouTube this morning mentioned um it very much looks like the uh cheerleader outfit from a Taylor Swift music video and so I just think it's kind of like Hey man can I copy copy your homework sure thing just make it look different like that meme and then it's like almost the exact same thing that's um not loving that so that's probably my second least favorite logo uh the the one rounding out the bottom half is the New York Sirens by the way they have the best color scheme of any any team in the league the kind of like mint green with the orange and white it's very clean and I absolutely [ __ ] love it but um is mirr it kind of reminds you like the New York Liberty colorway almost I was going to say I like kind of has like that copper green color that the New York Liberty use for the um I think it's just like one of their away uniforms yeah they but I really like that kind of copper color the the um the weathered copper color um yeah so I just think it looks nice I also am I'm a big fan of the mint green colors like soft teals and mint greens some of my favorite colors to exist um like legitimately drawing up my bedroom was like a mint green color um so I really like the color way I just think the name's not the best and I don't love that their logo is just a block NY with the word and then they just kind of like did the thing that Windows 95 would do or a lot of the windows would do when it would freak out and if you dragged the window you saw like the ghosted windows behind it that's what that looks like to me me and um it just makes me think back to being a kid and accidentally crashing my computer so for that reason I don't love it um getting my bronze metal for my favorite logo personally is the Minnesota Frost I again colors fantastic I think I think you could have come up with a better name than Frost um it's like it's almost there I'd have like to see like maybe a two-word name because there's no two-word names in the um in the the inaugural six I can't say the original six because the original six is the NHL but no two- word names in the inaugural six and it's a great it's a good logo and it's it's themed nice I like the the font and everything although it's the same font that the Boston Fleet us use um for some of that lettering I noticed with the w Mark um but otherwise not terrible my top two share one thing my top two share one thing in common because it's obviously Montreal and Boston and it's not that they're also an original 6 uh NHL city um it's they both utilize negative space in the logo and I I'm a huge fan of that so the Montreal Victory or Victory de Montreal uh Montreal sorry I cannot speak French and I will admit that right now um so before you flame me for not being able to speak French I'm an American I grew up outside of Boston the fact that I can speak English is impressive enough to me um but I I know you're looking at the logo proper English yeah if you notice they have like this kind of their Crest is kind of like a diamond where the top part is cut out it has in blue lettering the word Victory uh spelled the French way um they have a little flirt which is the the French the very French thing you seen on the French flags and everything obviously Quebec also uses it and then they have the red but if you notice there's those three blue lines they make a blue m in the logo and I like that CU it kind of it's using the logo to make other things it's why I love the Minnesota Wilds logo I know we touched on that um a couple weeks ago and as a result the Boston Fleet is my favorite logo it yes it's the team I root for there is bias here it's my rankings I'm allowed to be biased um but I really like the Boston fleet's logo again it kind of like the Hartford wers logo which I love the logo I'm glad Hartford doesn't have an NHL team anymore harford's just not the city for an NHL team I think it's too close to New York City I think it's too close to Boston uh so like for the NHL it's not the right move the AHL is the right place for it but those types of logos with is the negative space I think it's going to look really nice on like especially the away sweaters or the home sweaters if they're black that green logo with the that looks like the sideways anchor to make the letter B uh on a black or or white uh sweater is going to look awesome it's going to just look fantastic and I'm actually going to buy one and I'm going to be amped about it and then obviously has the little waves to show like the nautical nods to Boston um obviously with the harbor being a pretty important port for for a few things there's this like small historic event the Boston Tea Party you may have heard of it you may not I don't know did you pay attention in school um so I kind of like the the fleet for that reason as well I it's an 02 to uh like part of Boston's historical significance in United States history and I guess North American history as a whole slightly figure thatat but um kind of goes on this point that I I kind of like about it is that I'm use the fleet as an example is that now you I talked about the idea of when you are an owner of a entity of professional sports you try to tap into the local I don't say like I want to say culture almost but you want to tap into like some of the history of the region want to tap into like something unique about the region you're in you want to tap into something that people that live there can relate to and kind of say hey this should be my team no I I agree and it's also like that or you're like you're tapping into your own business like that's made you that money because I'm pretty sure I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure like the Bruins for example they like the guy owned like a grocery store chain and that's where that's it was like it was something bare themed which is why the Bruins are the Bruins um I could be completely wrong but um I remember reading something similar to that um cuz obviously that was going to be the one example someone would throw at you like immediately well what do bears have to do with New England well first of all we do have black bears um in New England and the Boston area obviously you don't have bears in the city of Boston at least anymore um the Industrial Revolution definitely took them out but I agree I think you kind of try to try to get something from your region or again like your business um to to get people to get behind it like let's use my favorite baseball team the New York Yankees obviously people from the north are Yankees if you live in New York you're from the north it's pretty easy to be a New York Yankee right like Columbus Blue Jackets obviously Blue Jackets going to be Union [Music] Soldiers what are other ones that are like pretty Minnesota Wild the the natural beauty of Minnesota um Colorado Rockies the Rocky mountains are in Colorado like that's a really sad one but there's a few that I can pick off like without thinking you know [Music] yeah and then you have like your WNBA teams like the um we talked about this like the Phoenix Mercury they um obviously they're owned by the Suns so you wanted to have something that was similar in branding uh the Minnesota links is a very good uh partner to the Timberwolves Dallas Wings have a similar enough logo to the the Mavs which I love I think that's fantastic I also like uh like with professional women the top tier professional women sports and and men's minor leagues I feel like you get definitely more creative names in general and I think that's part of where I'm not super happy with the p whl's current names like Montreal Victory is pretty cool like especially spelling it the French way I like that Toronto scepter that's kind of cool like kind of weird for a sports team but but cool I think the only names that fell short were like sirens and frost for me like and obviously charge there multiple teams called the charge but like look at certain leagues uh ECHL you have two thunders in the same league so I'll tell tell you I always R if it's not the team I'm working for to make the cup I want the thunder thunder so we can have the Thunder cup because I think that'd be marketings I think every marketing team ever involved in it both the league or allinclusive so League level um both teams would love to have the Thunder cup I also suggested that thunderbug the Tampa Bay Lightnings mascot has to present the cop if that happens because I think it'd be hilarious and it' bring a third like thunder Storm's team into the m fold yeah and even then it's like I feel like as they add more teams they'll kind of have a little more diversity and kind of where how these teams will associate themselves with where they're going to be located yeah and don't get me wrong I think I think they did an awesome job with names and and logos everything and I think it's really hard to name a team hell I have to come up with one to play MLB the show and like Hut every I struggle with that and dude the fact that I just grabbed a turkey suit for a Turkey Trot a couple years ago is where I got the name turkeys for all my teams from I was like oh we'll be the turkeys like whatever done it's City I'm living in turkeys great I have have a team name now yeah so like I'm not going to I'm not saying they did a bad job because I think they did a great job I think it's hard to come with a team name that because you also need to pick a name that like you know your fan base is going to get behind to be happy and I think when they doing a whole year nameless makes it even tougher because like I feel like the scrutiny is higher I think if they had come out with these names right off the rip i' been like oh that's actually prettyy good I like that but um I think having that year where they like could think T names I put them in a higher pedestal like to to make the names and maybe that's where my criticisms comes from um but again Boston fleet's definitely my favorite name uh super funny because obviously Fleet Bank used to be the rights for the the Garden in Boston so like there was a time where the Fleet Center the fleet could have played at the Fleet Center obviously it's not anymore because it's TD it's the TD Garden now I almost called it the TD Bank North Garden that's how old I am that's how it used to be to be fair I went to my first hockey game at the Fleet Center I went to the last NHL team pre current set of expansions so the 2000 expansion being the last one I saw my last NHL team that I needed to at the TD Bank North Garden and then I still haven't seen uh Vegas or Seattle but I will see Seattle this year in Columbus I am not going to Vegas um because I really don't want to so they they'll be the last team I see in the NHL um because I'm not counting Utah I saw the coyotes already I also don't count wiip pay cuz I saw the Thrashers yep I'm old enough I got to see the Atlanta Thrashers play hockey live which isn't that impressive because they were around till 2010 so it's only been 14 years but like think about it there are high schoolers that didn't get to see the Atlanta Thrashers be a team does that make you feel old buddy unfortunately actually that's that's such a sad fact I'm so mad that I just said that there are kids high school there are kids in high school that weren't alive when the Atlanta Thrashers played hockey so I'm trying to pull Boll for the PX video as we're doing this and uh apparently the NFLs en codings from the videos yeah they don't fun fact the NFL doesn't like you stealing their [ __ ] well we're using vertical stuff now so it's fine not all of it just some of the longer stuff is encoded differently no that's fine I understand I can tell you the number of people the number of people that use their stuff for Content including us is so much of a high number that I don't think they can do really anything to enforce it also I think we're small enough uh wear a small enough piece of lice in their hair that they're just not gonna care I just was really trying to rhyme there I'm not going to lie I was I was forcing it I just think that uh with them it's there's so many people that are making content and that pull the highlights from from YouTube like it's just a common practice now that's how a lot of people like who don't have the act like people want the access to highlights and do their own thing with them uhuh but I see where they have the issue with it but also it's like these are people that are trying to work for some people are trying to use NFL High to work for the NFL no that's fair and I I might be guilty of that but you know we can discuss that later on no I understand that I also think like as long as you're crediting like oh pictures and video are from the NFL I think we're good I think I think claiming it I think as long as we're crediting them I don't oh you're breaking up because you're probably trying to download [ __ ] and your computer's being angry about it but I they don't like it I think as long as we're just like giving them properly crediting them that's that's all we can do and be happy with it oh no I'm with you there you know that's obviously what I'm trying to do here I think the last thing I want to talk about Alex is uh so obviously we didn't go last week um obviously we haven't said anything about the gados um and honestly the biggest reason is like I got to see both gadr brothers play Boston College um I saw them when they'd go to UMass though uh L not Amherst um CU I would go to that's where I went to college hockey games I go to the riverhawks at the songus center but I got to see both of them play at that level I got to see Johnny play as both a flame and a h jacket and I got to say Matt play as a Wester [ __ ] um in worcester's inaugural season and like yeah I didn't know them I I was just some kid in the stands or some guy in the stands by the the time that I got older um and closer to the end of the career including last year because I was at a couple Blue Jackets games last year um but that's that's one thing that like yeah I've made some jokes like my sister my brother about it but like at the end of the day I feel so bad for the family the friends the teammates because like yeah I haven't lost a sibling I haven't lost a child um I've only lost grandparents but I lost them to old age and it been the most recent ones probably six seven years ago at this point um and it still feels like it was yesterday and and that hurt is still there so I have nothing but respect for the family I feel terrible for the children um both Johnny's born children Matthew's unborn child and and Johnny's unborn child because apparently both wives are pregnant as well and I just I really I I have nothing but hope that they can move on is not the right word um but they can they can embrace it I never think you can like truly move on obviously because you know that's a presence that you can't replace at all and I think and especially because oh sorry for cutting you off I think that um you know how much they mean to just a hockey Community you can't discredit that you know despite how I I just hope the the NHL can do something to where they can honor the brothers with something in their name that a player can attest to like their work ethics or something yeah I think even if it's I think they both were they seem to do a lot of community stuff both of them they both seemed to actually give a [ __ ] about doing it too like cuz I mean you'll see players that do a lot of community stuff especially I'm going to use m few more because I've been around minor Leaguers uh a lot more and I've been around minor league hockey players there are some guys that they do [ __ ] because it's in their contract they have to go do [ __ ] they have to do [ __ ] in the community fun fact it's in their contracts and there are other guys that go to these events and may genuinely seem at least on the outside again I don't I'm not a psychologist I'm not in their heads but they go to this [ __ ] and they they're genuinely super happy to be there talking to people being around people doing things doing things in the community and I think I think the cad Brothers definitely fell into that second category a lot more than the first category because I mean obviously everyone has their days where they they can give two shits about being where they are right I have days I go to work I love my job I wouldn't trade my current job for the world but there are days where I'm driving into work and I'm like dude I really don't [ __ ] want to go to work today like I'm okay my job I love my job I love the people I work with I love the people I work for but I love the city I work in but there are days where I get out of bed in the morning I'm like dude can it just be Saturday so I don't have to go to work like so that's kind of where I sit on that I think they were really really great for the hockey community and their presence will be missed uh both by fans and their local markets and uh fans as a whole and I do feel awful for the families and I hope that the the grieving process doesn't take them too far away from their like ability to function in their day-to-day lives because it sucks that that [ __ ] sucks losing a family member to a drunk driver losing two on the same day is even worse when they were by every account I've heard they were doing the right thing and that drunk driver was the dude doing the wrong thing he also apparently seemed to not give two shits like not realiz maybe it's because he doesn't realize the gravity of what he's done but every little thing I've seen the only thing I saw from him was like his um arment via like zoom and with it being Labor Day weekend then being like Oh your actual hearing will be um Thursday um cuz that'll have been when you're like 72 hours the tment is because of the weekend on the holiday and like he seemed more disappointed that he wasn't going to be home over the weekend than anything else at least that was how I perceived that video so I did want to put something in there like we didn't neglect it we literally just didn't know what to say so that's why nothing at the time correct me if I'm wrong Johnny played in the game we went to right is the Bruins yes yes Johnny played the game we went to with the Bruins that was actually the first time I saw him as a Calgary uh sorry Columbus Blue Jacket I had seen him as a Calgary flame in Boston because saw the flames in Boston a couple years ago so that was cool seeing the kid that played at BC obviously for me it's like I don't want to like so no I feel I'm incredibly lucky that I got to see uh Kobe Bryant's last game at Madison Square Garden gr that was the only time I got to see Kobe I I was gonna I was just gonna say I feel like this is like I feel like I can take that so what I was going to say is I feel like this is um I feel like how basketball rallied around Kobe is I'm hoping how the NHL and hockey is going to Rally around the Gill Brothers which I think it's a little different because obviously Kobe played his whole career he had finished on his terms and then it was a few years later that he uh uh passed away in the helicopter accident um whereas Matthew Gad had ended his career he was going to be their like his high school's hockey coach um again caring about his community and what he does to spread hockey to his where he's from like respect your roots and then Johnny obviously was still very much playing in the NHL I'm pretty sure he was an Allstar this past year like he was he was at the top of his game and that's the other thing like I'm not saying other other deaths in hockey aren't worse during active playing careers I'm not saying they're better because I don't think any death is good uh again spoiler alert but I I'm just it it's still like very sombering and it it kind of I remember I call my mom every Sunday and I remember talking to my mom um the Saturday of Labor Day weekend Labor Day weekend actually cuz I had something I had to do on Sunday so I wasn't going to get to talk to her and like bat phone call meeting so much more to me because it kind of unfortunately reminded me how fragile life is um so I hate to end it on a somber mood like that but I think that's kind of the best place to end this for the night yeah so I think quick content schedule for the week yeah love it um obviously I'm gonna get the picks out I sent you a spreadsheet with our week two picks on it if I can get a cut out of that yeah at some point I will um I'll probably we can tweet that later yeah I canot and then we'll update with with our records throughout the rest of the season so we'll have some can you make a thir can you do me a favor make a third column that puts the actual winner and then yeah or yeah I'll add that and then we can um we can have our records I think we just cut it so if you cut this for me if you cut out the columns we just post that with the real that'll probably go out tomorrow oh yeah I'll cut
