well all right ktk cousins playing in his first game for the Atlanta Falcons it hadn't gone well up until this point but you know what uh it's you're playing to Steelers they kind of do this to everybody if you can get a nice drive here get into the end zone no one will remember the kind of rough first 57 minutes or so unfortunately for him this instead happened it's a Zone coverage concept and the route on the screen certainly can work it these are good routes against a type of coverage get kind of underneath the corner but get past the linebacker there's a little window there you usually so it makes sense however when cousins takes the snap pressure is going to come which I mean that's just part of playing the Steelers is you kind of have to throw off balance sometimes and I have to say I did think about this you know he is coming off of Vil's injury and Everyone likes to say well he's not really a mobile quarterback anyway sure but you still have to make these awkward off-balance throws from time to time and I do wonder if this affects him could be making an excuse he could be fine who knows but it it's something that crossed my mind however even with all that being said this a bad decision you see when he gets rid of the football I mean if he was not under pressure at all this would be a bad call I mean you need to basically get that one in a there in a hurry you need to Bullet that one through and it's still basically a mailbox throw this is not open at all really a poor decision by cousins this one gets intercepted and the only thing watching live you're wondering is going to happen is is it going to get intercepted or are the two guys trying to intercept it going to run into each other and will neither of them intercept it no it gets intercepted that basically IES the game just a bad call by Kurt Cousins on that one and a bad start to his Atlanta Falcons career but it's just one week and as I said you know Steelers have made a history of making quarterbacks look foolish so uh you know tough start but still a long way to go
