Justin Verlander Miguel Cabrera and Joe Mau those are three of the best baseball players of their era and all of them played in the Futures game before they made their mark on Major League Baseball next week trash Panda Ace Kaden Dana will look to carve up the national league prospects when he gets his shot at Globe Life Field Dana becomes the fifth trash Panda selected for the Futures game and the third pitcher at just 20 years old the New York native is the Angels top prospect and the number 91 Prospect in all of baseball this year he's dominated doublea batters leading the southern league in quality starts and innings pitched he's also top 10 in strikeouts ra Whip and batting average against and the big righty is looking forward to putting his talents on display on July 13th in Arlington it's absolute blessing um kind of just treating it like almost like the prospect games like back in spring training it's just you know it's a great opportunity for all those mod leakers to show their talents and their name out there like like we did early in spring training and uh but I'm you know I'm blessed to receive that invitation and can't wait for me it's just it's like kind of like another stepping stone and um you know I'm still taking it one at a time um but it's uh it's definitely you know a step in the right direction trash Panda manager Andy shley has been around baseball for a long time and says what Dana has been able to do this year is impressive for anyone especially a 20-year-old the maturity is off the charts for anybody at any age uh for the process that he puts together day in day out from a 20-year-old is incredibly impressive um it's a great honor for him uh super excited for him but just a a small step and uh a well earned honor um but just a small step and drop in the bucket compared to what he's got ahead of
