THE CREATOR CLASSIC - Everything you missed

good morning good afternoon good evening ladies and gentlemen we are here to talk about one thing and one thing only and that is the creator Classic held at East Lake Georgia yesterday at the Tour Championship put on by the PGA Tour this is an event where 16 golf content creators were put to the test in an e- hole stroke play followed by a four-man one hole playoff now yeah you're thinking that's a little crazy but pretty simple and listen if you haven't watched it yet you don't want to spoiler go to PGA tour's YouTube channel and check it out before continue on with this video first off I'd like to say congratulations to luk Juan on winning this event after your double bogey start I was like oh he's done because he doesn't you know he's not all in on these events you know he's he's in on growing his channel and being a part of this and growing the community but he's not you know he's played professional golf he's won professional golf event so this is a grow the community you know feel-good event for some of these Pro guys who are now in this they know it's not like a real competition but I mean he mentally you know coming off a double bogey I think I think really it kind of just released the pressure and then he started firing some good shots and dropping some putts which is exactly what he did on that playoff hole on the 18th where he had a 15t uphill putt that he sunk in uh to win the tournament it was a star studded roster we got the Brian Bros we got one half of bust the Jack and Mason nut we had a bunch of good good guys we had Garrett Clark Brad doy Shawn Walsh exg good good player luk Quan we had fat Perez from Bobo Sports Roger steel host of rang talk the head Callaway podcast michah Morris Peter Finch made the trip from the UK cross the pond to playing this event we had some big female content creators in the golf space the biggest one the biggest content creator of all Pace branic we had Gabby golf girl 16-year-old competitive golfer now making content blowing up Amy Cho X LPGA player most of her content is on the instruction side of golf but she played in us to Tyler Tony part of dude perfect one of the biggest YouTube groups in all of YouTube the production put on by PGA Tour and the golf that followed was Second To None a lot of the PGA tour players have been seen commenting saying these content creators don't have a shot but seven out of 16 golfers were even or better and look they're playing at the newly neverbe Seen On TV renovated Eastlake this course is tough the greens are brand new so they're super fast the rough is super thick so if you miss the Fairway Shane Lowry was saying if you miss the Fairway it's impossible to stick the green and you're talking about yeah your everyday above average scratch golfers going out there and playing in PGA Tour conditions bunch of them scored under par bunch of them were even some guys had bad days some guys had good days a couple things surprised me about the event number one Roger steel stole the show in my opinion stole the show he sees the opportunity to show his personality in a before round interview on the course and with his play yes I've been seen in the latest Fringe crew podcast which I'll drop the link below I've been seen saying that Roger steel had no chance in this in this event and he finished in that top four group that moved on to the playoff he started out off the first t with a 365 yard bomb 195 mph ball speed that's above tour average and an absolute nuclear way to start big confidence Builder I'm sure the guy could play had a couple tough up and downs couple good putts and he hung around and he made that playoff another surprise Mr Garrett Clark let off his tournament with a birdie on number 10 or one followed up two holes later with a kuple bogey a nine after blowing Two t- Shots Out of Bounds back to back but it's golf that happens we had MC buer the Canadian Slinger te up a right-handed driver from the left-handed side and he had a 285 yard drive down the left side to start off his event M said n took a seven iron jabbed it into the first T box gave him a little Turf te driver off the deck off the first that's the kind of stuff I want to see from these events we all know that these guys can play good golf to some extent right we know there's going to be good golf shots hit but they're content creators they're entertainers at the end of the day so seeing them entertain is what we're here for right we expected Wesley Bryan to shoot two under he was the odds favorite if Vegas put odds on this no doubt because he's an ex-tour player but what makes Wesley Bryan successful in the content creation space is his personality he can Trash Talk he's so full of himself he's like he's so arrogant but it's in the best way somehow it works for me I'd give the event like a 9 out of 10 it was great content and I can't wait to see what these creators do with their onc course film Crews who are allowed to be there I can't wait to see some of the content that comes out some of behind the scenes some of the banter some of the stuff that I think live would have made this a little better that's the only thing I think it's missing was that I'd like to see in these Live Events somehow the players really get to shine through with their personalities I want to see the guys entertain with their with their personalities and I want to see their editors entertain with how they can tell a story through their editing and some of the banter trash talk that kind of stuff like I mean in that regard the best moment for me was when fat Perez had that interview with Joel Damon saying how you know he was going to go drink later that night that jness like I need to see more that because ultimately that's what connects these people to your everyday golfers but I I want to know what you guys think genuinely what did you think about this event did you think it was good give me a rating out of 10 the golf was incredible they exceeded everyone's expectations I think and the production the quality of it topnotch I mean how could it not be PGA tour right but I want to know what you guys think drop your
