fader is a psychiatric disorder in which two people share a delusion to use its clinical term it's called shared psychotic disorder and the way it works is that one person who has delusion is able to unwillingly or not purposely influence another person into sharing that delusion with them it's a very rare disorder and I've never encountered this in my private practice as dogs barking please ignore that although it is resp responsible for between 1 2% of admissions to psychiatric care facilities so it's not ridiculously uncommon but it is relatively uncommon it usually happens with two people although it can happen with more particularly in close family relationships and this almost always happens in close families or people who are very close perhaps in a romantic relationship
