but once you put on that helmet and so it's a whole different story but it's just super exciting to be out there I think it's like like you said a kid in the kid story so there's really nothing that can replicate is that where you're getting at yeah nothing at all no matter what you do no matter how hard you work in the offseason no matter how much you run football shape is a totally different can you remind us of how the hip injury happened so it was um right before it we had like little workouts before everyone came back and I just try to make a cut try to make a cut and I just it was my hip flexor just just trying to make a cut and I just strain my Hip Flex a little bit but it's all it's all good so that that was during when the rookies the rookies came yeah when the rookies were yes talking about getting in football shape you have two people to look up to pretty easily with Josh and AJ what have they given you advice for oh yeah definitely um they just told me just take it day by day they said I'm going to feel a lot better tomorrow um they know uh they knew that this was they said it was a tough day for them and they've been doing it for two weeks so for it to be my first day um I'm definitely just going to get better and better you know as it come does it start feeling real like you're in the NFL it does it does it's pretty cool but now it's just football I mean um I've been playing it my whole life you know I played in the SEC I played in the Pack 12 I played against all these type of guys all the time so it was just pretty cool to actually you know be here you know how much catching up how far behind do you feel for plays um I'm I'm all good with the plays I've been still studying know still been in the plays uh still you know watching the walkthroughs and everything but now I'm actually just physically being inside of it so you know all the plays and everything I got to done pack did you have to restructure your goals I know we talked day one about goals going in but did you have to kind of reconsider what you you know because you are a little bit behind I guess the eight balls oh no definitely not no it's um it's on a go it's all all gas no breaks um all my goals you know is all for the team right now you know I don't have anything individual I feel like what we do as a team you know those things will come um I just want to be you know be able to be utilized and always help the team as much as possible family what have you heard what do you expect I I'm excited to see how it is um so they told me it's probably going to be pretty much packed so I'm like that's pretty cool you know not too many places like that you know my whole family is coming down um they're driving 17 hours from Delaware so it's going to be pretty cool to you know see you know see them but also just see the atmosphere do you think you'll be good for like to ramp it up I know today just the Indies by Saturday you so day by day I'm just adding more and more things so just adding this stuff so today I did um Indie and then uh some other stuff and tomorrow add some more and then by Saturday I should be able to do pretty much a lot of stuff so I'm just going day by day adding more and more stuff just slowly getting back into it where's the first place you're gonna take your family here in what there's a lot of places I love there's um this place called Sushi lover it's so so good I Love Sushi lover um there's this one uh I just heard about it's called like Legend Larry's or something I want I've never had it but I want to try that out and there's like a actually went to like this cheese steak place I don't know what it's called it's like Rebellion that's what it is actually it's pretty good like Star Wars and inside that was pretty cool so I like those type of um smaller like um restaurants that are pretty good you got it all figured out oh yeah I love them I've been when I got here I first I went around different places me and my girlfriend went to different places just you know checked them out and I Sushi lover has been at the top so far when you come in are they like oh he's back he's going to do the all you can eat oh yeah well I came one time I came in like 3 days in a row and the guy recognized like wa you were you last night and my girlfriend was like dang that's kind of for him to call us out like that but it was it was pretty cool
