Intro hey everybody Dave Archer here from The Ticket Master Studios the Falcons over a 24-hour period acquired two players that potentially could be two of the biggest player Acquisitions in Falcon history yes I said Falcon history we're going to take a look at these two players right here on our video board let's take a Justin Simmons look at All Pro safety Justin Simmons four-time All Pro Simmons has great range he's lined up here in the half safety position now you got to have some range you got to get the football remember this is a guy that has 30 career interceptions in his in his in his career here he is ranging from that half safety position goes and gets the football now when you begin to think about safety play as we take a look at our next play he's got to be able to come down in the Box here's Simmons right here he's going to come down in the box now he's going to have to come down and cover picking up the tight end coming off the ball Simmons rotates down in that in that from that safety position Dives in front makes the play in manto man here he is watch the feet outstanding athleticism he's not just a middle safety with range he's a guy that can go cover one of his 30 career interceptions you also want a safety that can come down in the Box as you see him finish this Play here's Simmons here's Simmons right here if I can get my get my board set up here there's Simmons in the box right there now Simmons is going to come on the blitz burrow does not pick him up and does not see him in the protection bootleg play and Simmons comes down in the Box three things just three things that this guy brings to the table great range from the safety spot his ability to rock down and cover and then oh by the way he can come down in the box and create Havoc down there with a sack or making a play behind the line of scrimmage Justin Simmons the All Pro huge acquisition for the Falcons let's take a look at Matthew Matthew Judon judeah on the outstanding Edge resser the Falcons acquired last week from New England but played in Baltimore as well here's some tape from him at Baltimore now what we could have shown you is he's he's gone against the number of players 66 career sacks in his in his career and he's gone against tight ends backs but I want to show you against tackles cuz I think that's the most impactful here he is at the top of your screen right here going to come off the edge against the Raiders now working against the offensive tackle see the power the rip through and then he gets to the quarterback balls out now you've got something going on you got to make a play on the defensive side of the football you get the ball out let's take a look at another piece of what judon brings to the table now judah's right here right there at the top of the screen again coming off the edge judah's going to come off with his speed he's going to rip through and then here he closes the quarterback escapes out he closes to get the football out that's another piece of what he is not only does he have the power he has the speed to close and get to the quarterback now our xpiece is this is where he shows his versatility okay judon now with the red sleeves you can see him right here at the top of the screen he's going to come off the edge again working against that left tackle now his power Rush gets cut off off he spins back to the inside and gets the quarterback that alternative move he's not a one-trick pony not just power not just speed but he has the ability to change Theon here you see the spin move gets the quarterback on the ground and creates a sack Matthew judon 66 career sacks in he in his career 32 in his last 38 games you talk about an impactful player this is one of them
