damn it's cold out here I think it's supposed to go down in the 40s tonight how the heck was it just like a week ago I was burning my ass off working outside and now it's lit it literally feels like football weather man how you feeling right now how are you feeling right now have you now moved past the Green Bay Packers game have you moved on he he feels good I'm going to say uh the Rams game has still got a quarter left to go but I'm going to probably watch that in bed or it's going to be watching me because I I I'm tired I I literally woke up at 3:30 this morning and could not go back to sleep I just could I I couldn't I tried I kept laying there I kept tossing and turning and turning and tossing and trying to just get my [ __ ] together I just couldn't it just would not happen for me and so I got up at 6 and uh started making some chicken pasta I'm actually having a little uh get together at the red brick house with some family and stuff on Tuesday so it was good that I was able to get uh that squared away and I decided uh Mike had this roast he's like Dad I don't know how to cook the roast and so I was like okay let me go ahead and cook the roast and then I started thinking hm let me try something different I said let me try and take this roast slow cook it in the crock pot and make it into a chili oh man that was it was like a beef stew but a chili oh man it was good I was using NGO Peppers uh chili powder in it man it was nice it was nice the people killed it and then we did of course the big sub we did a Ruben sub and I'm glad I did a Ruben sub because that's an easy one um unfortunately uh prayers for my buddy David Wy uh he bumped his head and uh was not feeling well so he could make it over today I hope he's okay and I'll check with him after I do this and so live stream today of course the Giants game and and the early games and stuff like that it was great having everybody in here and the excitement of getting ready for the Cowboys game and it was nice to have the usual you know friends and stuff over uh DM uh Dem boy kicks and um DMV and E2 blue and of course Michael wasn't actually a Genus for once he he's actually here because he's got so much work to do and West and stuff so we had a good time we had a really good time having everybody here to watch the game but you know if you've listened to the hype and everything else and I can't wait to hear what they have to say tomorrow tomorrow will be well you know because at first they were talking about about how good the rounds were and literally I've got Eagle fans that came in after their quarterback had three turnovers that should have been at least five that they literally came in and said oh well you playing the the Cleveland Browns they're trash they're garbage DeShaun Watson he's nothing you know and and not not not that we weren't playing against the defensive MVP and what was thought to be one of the better defenses in football and a great running attack but be that as a it's okay it's okay we got our game balls and there's a lot that need to go around I I I need a bag full of game balls here and I'm going to say the first game ball needs to go to Jerry Jones because it is my contention that Jerry Jones has finally said put me in coach no wait a minute I'm the owner damn it and I'm gonna act like it now and that Jerry Jones is getting back to some of the things that he used to do that it's not you know Stephen Jones is going to be a penny pitcher when he takes over but I think Jerry Jones said I'm not dead yet he got CD lamb done he got Dak Prescott done and in doing so I think you killed the whole idea and the concept of we're going to blow it up I've had more conversations with Walker way talking about they're just blowing it up next year they're blowing it up next year you know you don't understand they're not signing a Dack they're not signning a CD they're still mad about Green Bay Packers and so on well they got those two done and what that says is you're not blowing it up what are you blowing up then what are you blowing up you're not getting rid of your young offensive linemen that aren't paid right now that are studs just not you may end up getting rid of Mike McCarthy and maybe you say we're going to bring in bill pelich I guess maybe that's blowing it up but Jerry you finally got some [ __ ] done I haven't even seen the press conference from you yet and I'll look at that tomorrow I I I'll look at that tomorrow but I'm glad that you finally got these two things done so people are saying oh I'm not impressed by this game well the Browns were favor the Browns were at home the Browns were a playoff team just like the Cowboys just like the Packers and just like the eagles now the the Packers beat us but the other three teams we all lost to the first round of the playoffs so I'd say we were about equal we we went in there on the road and we dominated completely on defense they played so well with what Mike Zimmer wanted to do that you said Dan Quinn who Dan Quinn who I don't know that I've seen a cowboy defense like that in a long time now I will preface that this is one game one game that might have been motivated because they say that got paid we're not blowing this [ __ ] up There's Hope for this staying together that it might be that emotional lift it may also be that because it is the first month of the Season where it's still really pre-season that the Cowboys H have had just got their [ __ ] together better than the CLE I don't know they just saying Tamp your expectations down but we're just dealing about this one game mik Parsons He looked like an MVP today him getting after the quarterback the amount of pressures five quarterback hits uh a sack a tip pass that led to the interception to Eric Kendricks um I think nine pressures one man wrecking crew and you see the difference of saying michah we're just going to put you on defensive end you're going to be in that spot every single play that you can scheme against him but because he was moving all over the place you're confusing people and because other people were able to take up the slack seeing DW in there getting a sack DW sighting DW has always been a great run stopper but hasn't been a real big sack guy for years D getting the sack getting the tackle for loss and stuff getting pressure on them D Micah Parsons they both get him I'm going to say the whole defensive line which literally was our Achilles heel last year not being able to stop the run Cleveland is a run heavy team and they didn't do dick they didn't do [ __ ] they could not run the football shout out to the whole front seven the linebackers we didn't talk about linebackers much last year because we didn't have any freaking linebackers Eric Kendricks played like a guy who was 10 years younger as far as physicality he was all over the field he reminded me of somebody we got to play next week Demario Davis because the way he was reconizing and going to the point of attack and when he was going there he was going with force and the running back would go backwards this wasn't Jaylen Smith when he go through there and get drugged for five yards this guy was knocking people down and overshown ages zero oh my God that boy that boy's fast he's fast we have a good crew of linebackers young and old mixed with Eric Kendrick's understanding exactly what Mike Zimmer wants to do they were good no they were great Diggs oh my God Diggs bro it's so good to have you back oh my God for Diggs to get an interception the first game back when we were saying we hope that the Cowboys aren't rushing that maybe he might need a game or two more to be ready Diggs taking up right where he left off definitely oh my God you know there was a lot being made about Cen Carson and I know mispronounce his name but I'm a name butcher is what I do but Carson getting Dion's number Carson oh my God I'm going to say I it's just one game sample Don bland is a playmaker okay he's a playmaker Carson is a dback that can cover for a guy who was a freaking rookie I don't think you guys understand we're starting rookies he was amazing amazing that whole Dallas Cowboys defense they were swarming it wasn't one guy tackling and everybody sitting around they were going after and they were laying the wood they punished they punished the Cleveland Browns that defense was lights out I mean look everybody deserves one and I'm going to say Jordan Phillips who I'm sure the Giants right now they're looking for anybody that they'd probably be happy to have Jordan Phillips back in New York haven't play quarterback since Daniel Jones stunk up the place hell they might call me up and say Mark well we'll play you quarterback at least not paying you $40 million but Jordan Phillips came in it ended up hitting Deshawn Watson right there and just laid the wood to him and I don't know howari Cooper dropped that thing but he should have had a touchdown there be that as it may he's a guy that you look at and say wow that might be a decent move and so as we've killed the Joneses for saying you know they didn't get get bigname free agents well I got to tell you Eric Kendrick's playing dividends um without a doubt I'd say uh Jordan Phillips look pretty good right now and we have some guys that are kind of waiting on the practice squad that as we end up getting hurt or losing players of things or getting tired we can rotate out off the practice squad some players to be fresher at the end of the season which has been one of our kees heels now to the offense man early on that first drive had me worried because we got a penalty to start and then Zach Martin Zack Martin gave up a sack and it was just like oh my God we started off looking bad that first drive but we picked it up in the second drive and you started seeing Tyler G he did get a penalty in there well we got a lot of penalties both sides did but you could see the power that he had he gave up a sack to um you know um I'm tired I'm real tired been up since 3:30 miles Garrett he did give up one sack to Miles Garrett but guy was Defensive MVP you expect to give up some sacks to Miles Garrett if it had been like the Chaz green green I'd be worried but he played really really well and let me also say Cooper freaking BB you didn't see him get lifted up and dropped off the quarterback's lap how crazy is it that the Cowboys took one first round pick as much [ __ ] as we give them took one first round pick and found two starting offensive linemen that both started week one in the rookie year and played outstanding bro bro for those out there will say well I'm not impressed you had two freaking rookies starting on the offensive line two so I don't want to hear nothing about it you two rookies started but the offensive line going against the Cleveland Browns they did a good job Zeke freaking Elliott early run it was called back with a penalty you saw Zeke hurdling a guy he had to get he was about this hard it's like Zeke what the hell you doing you old dude don't do that [ __ ] but Zeke had some um and some pop and the short yardage you saw him pick it up we got over 100 yards rushing against the Cleveland Browns one of the better defenses of football and we hit him in a multitude of ways I'm not going to say that that was the greatest performance in running the football ever but if you can rush for 100 yards plus with this offense every week you got a real good chance of winning no joke so shout out to the running game now this game again tough sleding you saw cidd lamb getting the ball running the football catching he did have some drops times that were knocked out and stuff the Cowboys came out you know you could see the adrenaline how they're pumped up they got to a lead the second half they kind of cooled off but you know by that time the damage was done the game was pretty much won and they were probably also tired because this is the first game of the season and CD just got there two weeks ago so I'm not going to go ahead and say oh my God because you can look at the Browns and say they were tired too so it's just one of those things right now um my concern of course which hopefully isn't that bad is okay I have no idea what that sound was um I know we have some foxes that are around cuz I know there was one that was hitting the street there um I saw this morning um Jake Ferguson the good news with Jake Ferguson it's it's warm now is uh Dak Prescott said he talked to him and that he's in good spirits um he left the facilities oh excuse me got on the uh the bus not using crutches not using the cane um not uh having a brace or or a boot or anything had ace bandage and a bag of ice and said he felt pretty good he'll get an MRI tomorrow and hopefully hopefully everything will be okay so as we come down the home stretch here you have to also give it too and I know people say he's a freaking idiot but you know for a guy who's supposedly on the hot seat to me he's looked more relaxed than ever and I've gotten to the point where I'd actually rather listen to the Mike McCarthy press conferences that the Jerry and Stephen Jones one Mike McCarthy I don't care what you say about him but for him to have done what he's done here in the five years I don't know how this one's going to end but he gives you a chance and the things he's done with Dak Prescott um it's been great so I hope that they get this thing together and that this team goes long way but every week is an opportunity to prove that you belong as one of those playoff teams which gives you the chance to be a Super Bowl and this test week one they passed it so that's all I got for you good people um I'm probably getting fading right now here cuz I am tired um but my heart soul feels good it was so great doing the live stream on both channels and seeing a lot of people haven't seen in a long time um all that was incredible and it was great and exhausting but remember good people remember to tell the people you love how much you love them because one of these times I'm going to tell you this and it'll be the last time I'm ever
