IONOS Email Tutorial - How to add Domain email address into GMAIL and send through it (20210219)

okay so in this video i'm going to show you how to add another email address to send emails through gmail the server has to be on ionos so first you want to log into your main email address then click setting icon and then click show all settings now you're going to be on general so you want to go to accounts and import now you want to click on send email as and add another email address so now you're going to put in what name you want to display as you're going to be sending it and we're going to be putting in say this one but this comes right from the domain name itself now what is this alias thing here okay so we want to uncheck this as an alias i guess i closed the box so let's do that again so we want to uncheck it because we're going to be sending it as this not as the other one okay next step is we're going to be putting in the smtp server so these are the ports for the ionos server okay so this is your outgoing server is right here smtp.ios.com report for ssl we do have ssl encryption it's 587 or 465 we're going to try 465 because it's a secured collection and then we put in the username so that would be media at put the whole email address and then finally the password that we're using out of the count and now it's going to check its credentials okay so that worked congratulations an email with confirmation has been sent to so now we have to log in as that email account and we should get an email okay so there it is so now we have this confirmation code and we enter in here verify and that's it so at this point we should switch back to [Music] here and we should have both of them in here so now when we go and create a new message you have a new drop down where you can send from one or the other so let's do a test if i send a message from media to say the main one and this is a test let's see if that came through okay so there it is here's our test now if you want to respond for example reply now we can respond to this and it's going to arrive from media inventive kids should at least so this is a email sent from gmail under alias of media at inventivekids.com i'm actually going to send this to [Music] merson and you can see here i can just select from media at send so now it's sending from media and inventive kids now i'm going to check the email to see if it went through and it should come out from media at media at inventive kits that's correct it works perfect
