out hello everybody I'm G 64 and thank you for joining me today on the PS4 did not turn off properly screen which I see pretty often because when I'm done with this thing I unplug it and throw it in the corner of my room cuz it doesn't have any games now you might be wondering why we're here on this depreciated Dusty old console well this is one of the only places where you can still play Dreams PS4 which I I guess makes sense because it's in the name and to be fair I also just really wanted to show you my background because I I just really like the funny skeletons dancing I think I paid like 86 cents for this theme and I've never changed my PlayStation 4 wallpaper off of it since I bought it today we're back in dreams PS4 to check out oh look at me go it's Sonic Bree I've been watching this game's development on Twitter and I'm really hoping that my Dusty old PS4 which honestly has seen better days uh can actually run this this game dreams is actually probably the only reason I would ever have a PS5 and I wouldn't even have to if Sony hadn't canell the PC version of the game so uh I'm never going to let that go I guess Sony just hates money you know Sony hating money actually makes a lot of sense they made morbius they're making Craven the hunter uh there's a friend here I'm seeing delicious gosh I have no idea how people work dreams like this like being able to make a game on the PlayStation 5 or 4 it's completely alien to me I have no idea how the heck they managed to do [Music] this well since Sonic's too lazy to do this then I guess I'll have to give the introductions hello there my name's Knuckles Knuckles the akinaa knuckles sounds very intelligent in this game this is where Sonic Tails and I hang out it's a pretty comfy place if you ask me sure be watching The Master Emerald all the time this is the warp rig tails made this reusable somehow I don't know don't ask me how I'm no nerd point is you can go anywhere using this ring as many times as you want and this is where Sonic keeps his precious little emeralds H he should really do a better job of watching them so they don't get stolen all the time and uh that's basically the whole place I don't know what else to say it's just a comfy little lap to hang out when you're tired look just see that warp ring just hop in it and see what happens maybe you'll go somewhere nice or or maybe you won't maybe you'll just jump in and oh God KN sends me directly to Detroit I don't know just just hop in the you not survive hopefully see you around thanks phone guy I love Five Nights at Freddy's should fix this up when I get time can I use this to like power up and become God oh I love how he looks I love how he animates oh he's so pretty looking oh I guess I homing attacked into the ring I I was still kind of looking around sorry I didn't mean to leave so fast all right let's go that certainly is a frame rate yep the PS4 is not having it but we're going to keep going cuz I'm excited all right so you can roll by holding the R button you have a homing attack by pressing the a button and good sense of speed so far oh gosh they weren't kidding the PS4 is not ready to handle this see must be all that new blast processing they added to the PS5 that explains it did better or what it's not like you can't play a game if it's at a lower frame rate you know 30 FPS completely fine as long as it's stable uh-oh oh I'm oh wow look at this this is so pretty though oh God I want to see this at a higher frame rate though I'm going to I'm going to go back on that statement I I I'm not buying a PS5 just for this though I'm going to be real especially not not with all the no money I have oh hell yeah all right so those must be the impact frames they were talking about uh uh Sonic's being was he electrocuted was he having the air sucked out of his lungs I don't [Music] know all right so we also have a bounce move and I think I was supposed to yeah okay I'm supposed to Raw One raw one I'm supposed to roll one over here guys I have such a good command of the English language don't I got to be that English degree I swear talking about that a lot today but you know sometimes it just needs to be said I have the piece of paper to prove it I wasted 5 years of my life and everything not because I failed or anything I I got sick and I had to drop out one year so like I was it was a big deal I had a lot of surgeries that you not an idiot most likely honestly no you know what okay I'm not going to talk about college for too much more cuz I've already mentioned it in the previous video I recorded today but like genuinely as long as I was in my field in college I did well in school but then when I had to do like other things like here take a science class because we want more of your money uh that's the kind of stuff I didn't really do too well in though I did feel like it was interesting excuse me did I just see another Sonic just now what oh no okay that's a bad Nick dude that's so funny that happens to me in a lot of Sonic fan games I'll see something out of the corner of my eye and I'll be like is this game secretly multiplayer uh-oh oh don't worry multiple paths I'm going to carve my own path my own destiny fate is not on the table today I like that you give me the option to survive though that's pretty cool like if you fall you don't immediately die Bottomless Pits aren't really super prevalent unless you fall in the water and we've got the drop Dash what more could you really want I guess a a better frame rate for the PS4 but that's really my fault that's not the game's fault that probably just goes to show the quality of the overall project cuz if it runs terribly on my machine that either means there's like a a colony of ants living in there that are being incinerated as we speak or it just needs to be on PS5 hell you might need a ps6 for this one man oh I got some wall running into some spikes but that's okay cuz momentum still carries and roll down the hill Oh so beautiful now I also don't know if the music cutting out constantly is because of the PS4 as well but I'm inclined to believe it's something that is wrong with me and not the game because uh genuinely I have pretty high thoughts of like the people who are able to put out games like this and actually get them into a playable State it's usually me who just ends up messing things up and misrepresenting them so I apologize for that but what am I supposed to do I've been following this for so long and I didn't know it wasn't going to work on my PS4 until yesterday so we just have to show it man [Music] oh the flow is so nice dude oh my God dare I say this game plays like a nice spring Breeze I like that this area actually plays pretty nicely I got a good frame right here at least I was going to say before I got evicted from this reality earlier this actually reminds me a lot of the HB World from the Minecraft Sonic pack CU they have like all these shelves with these nice little Easter eggs and just familiar Sonic things Feels Like A place you'd like to hang out you know you got Sonic doll Tails Doll some Springs no longer working I assume these are here for repair kind of like when the Grinch had to take the Christmas tree to fix that one light instead of just taking the light he took the whole tree honestly kind of selfless of I'm to do that not many people are going to do that for just one light oh here we go yeah all right area two playground a massive playground with dozens of Contraptions and items to mess with all right so this must be the last thing in the demo so far but that first level was really really cool oh and I got a frame rate here that I can work with it's got to be the tutorial level where the frame rate's good God I wish okay I wish I had a PS5 I really do oh this is nice I like all these crash bandic crates as well also to go along with what I was saying earlier if anyone understands how dreams PS4 works I would love to hear how any of this stuff is even possible cuz I know like you need to model stuff on the PlayStation with the controller and I'm going to be real with you I like the PS4 controller a lot but playing games with it is hard enough I don't think I'd be able to stick to creating a game oh spam spin dash baby let's go oh ooh the speed the bounce oh yeah dude oh this is a good move set man and if you charge the spin dash in midair it gets stronger when you hit the ground damn it's a big bow yes now I can live out my lifelong dream of being serial I know running around a giant tutorial level is probably not going to do it for most of you guys so I hope that you got your F from that one level earlier and that nice little intro cut scene think huge props on all that stuff like like very cool that you have a cut scene playing Knuckles sounds like a very intelligent man that I respect a great deal oh and there's a goalpost yeah let's do it let's get there okay and I can grab that I assume swing up and be on my Merry way ooh the nice break dance to end things off you got to love it so that again was Sonic breeze on dreams PS4 or PS5 not PC cuz Sony is ridiculous and I guess
