Powering Greatness with Jed Altschwager and Nikki Ayers

I'd say the the biggest things we've achieved together in the last 12 months would be uh obviously winning gold at world champions and becoming world champions in in the double um securing a spot for Paris that qualified the boat uh and then earlier in the year we also uh set a new world's best time in the double uh twice in that Rado um I think definitely the core reason why we are successful is the friendship that we have off the water we're able to bring that trust and that friendship into our Dynamics in the boat but when we're in the boat we're both working together like striving to be the best that we can gold medal is our goal really yeah our goal is definitely gold medal I don't think there's any dting around that question delicately yeah we want to see how well we go with Paris and I think we can achieve the big one if if it all goes well but knowing that we did everything we can if that's not the result we can be happy with that but we know with the support we have here at sassy what we've been doing the combination we have that when we cross that 2K we're hopefully going to have that gold medal the way sassy is um powering greatness is they're making us feel valued as athletes and that's one thing that I've really noticed down here is being feeling valued by giving us a great level of um strength and conditioning Sports Performance biomechanics like all that support and they come to us and say what can we give you to support you and that's really nice as an athlete feeling like that you have the voice here
