[Music] he's a rogue all right notorious for his flamboyant lifestyle flashy clothes fancy parties fine women are you daughter wow San Francisco in the mid 1990s it's got it all going on Willie Brown's in charge hanging out with his uh posi including his main squeeze kamla Harris huh look we all know that they were boyfriend girl friend you may not know that Willie was married at the time things happen in life that's not the that's not the sore Point really I mean maybe with Mrs Brown but um this was KLA Harris's big debut seriously that moment that you just saw on ABC in 1995 that was kamla Harris's first appearance on National Television she was uh 29 years old or so and isn't that something I think that's something and you compare it to Donald Trump Trump his debut I'll get to that in a moment or two this is the first time she was ever on national TV and what was the first the first words that she said did you catch it happens pretty quick take a look are you I'm not did you hear excuse me are you his daughter no I'm not I'm just one of the fine women hanging around them unofficial main squeeze part-time squeeze whatever the arrangement was she had it all going on with the mayor now who was the mayor Willie Brown uh yeah they were couple about town Willie Brown was a very talented politician started in the uh California Assembly in the 60s and worked his way up to be the speaker of the assembly which is a guy he's even more important than the governor at times and later kind of a step down but a bit of an ego trip he became the mayor of San Francisco good for him but Mrs Brown who is a live and well to this day is uh still married to Mr Brown they were all fine with it I think take a look there was these Infamous uh Sunday meals that he would make that we always make jokes about and had to be like the perfect you know Willy Brown meal and he made a rack a lamb with what was glaze carrots that was his dinner meal that none of us liked but Wily Brown gives blanch the credit for raising the kids especially during his Sacramento years I was frankly not a great family man um but I love my family blanch was a incredible as a uh a a wife I did my best to always be there uh for every child on every significant occasion look things do happen in life right not every family is perfect we all know that and I'm not saying this is a reason to vote for somebody or not vote for somebody but it is interesting again that her first appearance on National Television was as the semi- girlfriend whatever they had going on with the mayor of San Francisco when she was a junior attorney in the county office take a look are you and F cars you should from now on address me as the May if ever a man and a municipality were made for each other it is this man this place and who's that clapping right next to him that's kamla Harris I mean talking about working your way into a position of power she's not married to him she doesn't have a important job I she's um well she's the mistress and then this was her first time on National Television what were those words again he's 61 years old by the way she's 29 excuse me are you his daughter no I'm not it's a remarkable contrast to Donald Trump's first appearance on national TV he was 34 years old a bit older and um well here's a the introduction to his TV appearance good evening I'm Rona Barrett tonight I'm going to give you a close intimate look at the hopes fears dreams successes and even the failures of America's new super rich some of the people you'll be meeting aren't exactly household names Donald Trump's most famous accomplishment to date is the Grand Hyatt Hotel on 42nd Street some say the age of trump has just begun he was a new face on the Block we placed a call to his office and he then called back and said I would love to be on your show sounds like the Donald Trump we know he's always game for an interview one of the things we love about the guy but it's fascinating to me his first appearance on National Television is based on achievement and success he's noteworthy he's Fascinating People want to get to know him compared to the camela Harris situation right portion of that interview for some people the ultimate goal in life uh has been becoming the president of the United States would you like to be the president of the United States I really don't believe I would R but I would like to see somebody as the president who could do the job and they were very capable people in this country before he was even old enough to be president they were asking him do you want to be president someday how about that um and he had a pretty sober appraisal of the whole situation I would dedicate my life to this country but I see it as being a mean life and I also o see it that somebody with strong views and somebody with the kind of views that are maybe a little bit unpopular which may be right but maybe unpopular wouldn't necessarily have a chance of getting elected against somebody with no Great Brain but a big smile no Great Brain but a big smile sounds familiar doesn't it right these two that's what it's all about politics no great the guy is amazing right he could so I want to show you again Donald Trump first time on National Television NBC News and then you got uh kamla Harris ABC News uh one talking about well explain yourself and your boyfriend and she can't right and the other one's talking about possibly being the president of United States and all the success he has achieved so far and philosophy and his views on business and life and family it's fascinating you can find the whole interview on the internet today these are the opponents for the presidency right these are the two now a little bit more on kamla what has she achieved what has she created like all politicians not much right all that stuff the signage kamla Harris Fearless for the people take a look at that stuff there's balloons there's all this she had to ask people for money so she could buy all that stuff give me money so I can make a big poster of myself and get my name out there you compare that with what Donald Trump has been big about his name right but he puts it on things that he finishes that was a lot right there 57th Street and fth Avenue nothing there and he built a building one of the most incredible buildings in all of New York to this day it's about 40 years old 40 plus years old to turn that lot into this that takes skill that takes hard work that takes Talent how about to turn a dilapidated old hotel on 42nd Street and turn it into what you see on the right oh that's not a big deal are you kidding me that's huge it's bigger than any Senator raising money smiling making promises failing to deliver on those promises back to back to camela there he is making things happen for people for the city and Kamala making things happen for herself networking first with Willie and then probably a bunch of other guys and Barack Obama I mean was was it all about her Talent as attorney general is that what got barack's attention I don't think so and she's still at it right first she was Charming uh back in the old days when they pretended to like each other they can't even do that now last uh Tuesday night Monday night I saw her I don't know was she kind of making eyes at Trump at one point I don't know I don't know but this is how she got by this is how she made her name right political and a little bit flirtation nothing nothing in the way of achievement nothing concrete nothing to point to and not much as far as what I'll leave it at that okay next please in this election I actually have the endorsement of 200 Republicans who have formally worked with President Bush Mitt Romney and John McCain including the endorsement of former Vice President Dick Cheney and Congress member Liz Cheney that's your problem can you imagine how backwards and upside down everything is a Democrat bragging about Dick Cheney and Liz Cheney Dick Cheney Darth Vader Iraq war architect it is insane also this his former Chief of Staff a fourstar general has said he has contempt for the Constitution of the United States his former National Security adviser has said he is dangerous and unfit his former Secretary of Defense has said the nation the Republic would never survive another Trump term the um those kinds of comments tell you how frightened they are not of what they say he could do they're frightened of him and what it means for their careers their ability to make money stuff like that I am totally and completely convinced how dirty this swamp is I mean and Trump was right he fired people and you're supposed to that's actually a good thing see I'm a different kind of a person I fired most of those people not so graciously they did bad things or a bad job I fired them they never fired one person they didn't fire anybody having to do with Afghanistan and the Taliban and the 13 people who's who were just killed viciously and violently killed and I got to know the parents and the family they didn't fire they should have fired all those generals all those top people because that was one of the most incompetently handled situations in anybody has ever seen so when somebody does a bad job I fire him well um I don't know if you noticed but kamla at points was stifling a smile really very strange reaction when he's talking about the 13 dead that she's responsible for in part and yeah they didn't fire anybody when we lost so badly these guys still have jobs they're still there Millie retirement but he wasn't fired he wasn't fired remember they always were upset that Donald Trump he was firing people who fires people like Donald Trump we can add the name of the Secretary of State to the list of Departures of senior officials from the Trump white house uh and the senior ranks of the Trump Administration my only issue is some people should have been fired earlier and never should have been hired General Millie traitorous guy the worst guy in the world really really bad and possibly could face charges in the future esper another my God Donald Trump he is so ready he has learned so much he knows who to trust and who not to trust he thought these people would act out of the goodness of their heart for the country wrong John Bolton you know he says Donald Trump is a a threat to uh National Security you know why he was upset that Donald Trump did not bomb Iran Donald Trump is concerned about civilian casualties that's why Bolton says Donald Trump is a threat Donald Trump when he's not in the swamp people love him when he was was at the Trump organization people stayed with him for decades decades Alan weiselberg right 35 years he's paid a big price for it by the
