Taylor Swift's VMAs Shoutout to Boyfriend Travis Kelce

[Music] Taylor Swift has publicly celebrated her relationship with Travis Kelce in a heartfelt moment at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards this occasion marked the first time Swift 34 mentioned her NFL star Boyfriend by name during a public event while accepting the award for video of the Year Swift reflected on the filming of her video sharing a memorable detail with the audience this video might seem sad when you watch it but making it was incredibly fun she revealed I'll always remember that after each take when I'd call cut I hear someone cheering from across the studio that someone was my boyfriend Travis her mention of Kelsey 34 sparked an enthusiastic response from the audience at UBS Arena the crowd including host Megan n stallion erupted in Applause prompting Swift to pause until the cheers subsided everything this man touches turns to happiness fun and magic and I'm grateful for that during our shoot she added her gratitude evident Kelsey showed his support by liking an MTV post of Swift speech on his podcast New Heights which he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelsey he frequently refers to Swift is Tay he expressed his hopes for her success at the VMAs saying I hope Taylor walks away with a few mooners trophies she's nominated for about 10 tonight in a recent appearance on the Rich Eisen show Kelsey affectionately called her Tay Tay while reminiscing about joining her on stage at the era tour in London there was a moment of hesitation but she was so much fun about it I'm always up for some stage fun with Tay Tay he noted Swift in turn has consistently supported Kelsey by attending his games including the Super Bowl she mentioned him in a December Time Magazine cover story noting her Newfound appreciation for football I'm just there to support Travis she said I've been missing out on football my whole life she also acknowledged their public relationship stating we're proud of each other and don't go to Great Lengths to keep it private
