Intro So... everybody's dead. How about we start at the beginning? Okay, here we go. Frida, this my childhood buddy Cody. My left and right hand man. Perfect. Tom. ¡Hi! All right, who did this? This is Frida, Sarah... Sarah, Frida... What attracted you to this project What attracted you to this project? So many elements... I think the
arc of my character Sarah is one that I haven't necessarily played before, I think. There were so many challenges when reading the
script... and they scared me, the movie scared me. And I think you should do things that
scare you a little bit sometimes. It was out of my comfort zone. We're going on my island for a few
days, do you guys want to come? This is crazy. Everybody say "making memories". ¡Making memories! You having a good time? We're having a great time,
we're drinking champagne and we're eating amazing food so... Do you think
the human sacrifices before or after dinner? What was the biggest challenge
to your character Sarah? Biggest challenge There's a lot of them. You know, I think it's like... I don't
know how much I can say but I think where she sort of goes and the revelation of
what really is happening in the island, and orchestrating that was
was a big challenge, I think. There's a lot of really challenging scenes and a lot of kind of dark places that
my character has to go through... And that was pretty challenging. And, you know, we all lived together
for two months in the same house, in the same resort and that
has its challenges as well... You're like you almost felt like you were in this
island, you know, and there was no escapism... Thank, God, everybody was so
lovely and beautiful and we all got along so that kind of saved the whole process. Working with Naomi Watts I think there was a lot of heat and
rain on set... How was work with Naomi, with Channing in these conditions? Yeah, it was hot! You just kind of go through it it's what
the characters are going through and we would kind of just all laugh about it and,
you know, we all were in the same position... You know, we were all dying of heat
but then we would jump in the pool. And it wasn't I don't think
that part was challenging... I mean I could work with Naomi every day of
my life and I'll be the happiest actress. Where's Jess? Who is Jess My friend that was in the room next to mine. Wake up, wake up, wake up... I feel like we're forgetting
like a lot of stuff... Okay, but like how something's making us forget. This is the first film of Zoë Kravitz. First film as a director How was Zoë as a director? Oh, she's incredible. She's really smart and she's very visually
inclined but also very actor focused. And I think the culmination of
those two doesn't happen as often... And just watching her do what she does...
I mean, she's a brilliant director. It was really cool. I can't believe it's her first movie. It feels like this is her 10th; it's so good. Message And finally, what would you say
is the message of the movie? I think the movie has various messages. I think it's about taking power
back and the message of power. And I think this movie is a conversational
piece, I think everyone is going to leave with a very different message so I
don't want to put my fingerprint on it. I think, you know, when you watch it you're
going to leave the theater and you're going to have so many questions you're going to
feel confused, to feel all these emotions and then you're going to want to go home
and talk about it with your friends. And I think that's what real good art should do. It should evoke, it should
evoke these conversations. So congratulations for the
movie and thank you very much. Thank you so much, thank you. You know what's really going. Blink twice if I'm in danger. Well maybe not answer that one right.
