he drops it just took his eye off of it at the last minute that play had six written all over over it but he drops it in the end zone bad break for the offense 299 the receivers often will run their route based on a side adjustment throws to the wide out if he runs this back this game's over he didn't give him much of a chance to make that play even bigger but the turnover has him set up at the 16 that's a throw the quarterback would love to have back you're obviously down here in the Red Zone it's overtime the windows are going to be small he just got a bit too aggressive with his decision making the defense makes some pay and now they're giving it back to their offense with a chance to kick a field goal here and win on the option now the pitch and that might have been a bad read as the defense just swarms all over the pitch man the loss yardage leaves him with second and 11 to the air it's backck and that pass will be Jarred loose on second down that brings up third down well that's just a great play by the defender and great timing it was the hit that forced that [Applause] incompletion third and long and they want to be careful here not to go backwards and make a potential game-winning kick tough on third down he'll try to pick it up through the air unloads to the wide out and the incomplete pass will bring up fourth down tell you what I don't know if the offense was expecting man coverage that time third and long in field goal range you're expecting it to be Zone instead they lock him up manto man everybody on an island and everybody won to get the incompletion Now setting up for now on fourth down they'll try to come away with three [Applause] the fake they flip it to the [Applause] kicker he does not get there fourth down gamble comes up short and will go to another overtime well you're going fake field goal the old no look flip to the kicker it looks amazing when it works but not so good when it doesn't the defense was ready for it you saw they were able to track that kicker easily down to make the tackle LS to throw on first down that's caught it's PA and the completion gives him a fresh set of downs and keeps this drive moving well it's a nice play design there you're getting the running back involved in the pass game quarterback gives it to him early so he can go to work up field and get the first [Applause] down first down 10 yds to go now from inside the Red Zone pocket starts to collapse incomplete thanks to the great defensive pressure there that sort of threw them out of rhythm there's an example of what happens when the quarterback doesn't have a chance to set his feet the pressure just forced him to have to work off schedule a little bit and I think because of that wasn't able to be as accurate as he wanted to be wants to throw it's back fires to the to the wide out missed his receiver there it's [Applause] [Applause] incomplete they line up and it is a long way to the sticks from here on Third and long trying to have a big completion here and the throw down the gut falls to the grass really nice third down sub defense there that time it's third and long they're expecting pass and they're mixing up their looks they're trying to change the picture pre- snap to post Snap to confuse the quarterback now forcing the incompletion setting up for the tension the intensity the drama the offense steps to the line on Fourth snagged In The End Zone Velcro on the hands and it's a touchdown number 19 you know what methus lived 969 years he was born and died in the amount of time it took them to walk it down the field and score that touchdown and that's just so frustrating play after play after play you line up you try to do your assignment and you fail and they cap it off with a touchdown oh Methuselah and the buffalos with the first and 10 325 he's looking to throw it unloads to the wide out got it works his way to the four yd line and they'll have it first and goal so Jesse they're able to connect on the crossing rounde against the zone you run that pattern against that coverage what do you have to keep in mind well the receiver needs to know where the soft spot is in the defense so he can gear himself down and the quarterback ree has to play with great timing because if he's too early touchdown bucks got it in the end zone for the tie and they can win it with the extra point man what a great response by this offense going down the field scoring the touchdown now I got to go for two I know the new overtime rules that change this years ago Jesse you should work on this in practice what's your go-to two-point play right here I'll tell you after running the ball as well as they did on that last touchdown I could see them doing it again I think they've got confidence in the Big Fellas up front to get get done find a way into the end zone and be more physical looking to throw it's Rogers they are in ball game and that doesn't in with a two-point conversion for welcome to first here in overtime and where did I start for this offense the throw game getting working getting the touchdown pass this quarterback getting a little bit of confidence this passing game getting in a rhythm nice start for this offense [Music] why not double the try total and go for two lasso lasso off the play fake they're bringing heat and he was hit just as he was releasing the pass and it falls to the ground incomplete no good that keeps the score Colorado six Alabama zero Alabama with a first and 10 here to the air it's Sullivan getting some heat pass rush coming after the quarterback and they get him at the 32 and I love playing man coverage on the back end getting those receivers faces don't let them feel comfortable and run Zone where they can find all these holes in the zone and my Rush can't get home pressure them pressure them press he wants to pass it on second down nowhere close on that one as he got thrilled trying to deliver the football and now they face third down yeah it fell incomplete because he did a great job of getting to the quarterback he's in the pocket yeah he's he's comfortable but you get in there and you get a hit on him now he feels it can't throw the football can't follow through with his arm motion nice job by the defense that's why it's so important for this defense to win first and second down you set up third and Longs like that you can show your exotic looks you can get the pass rush going everybody in the back end expecting throw that's how you force incompletions and fource fourth Downs [Music] does the drama get any thicker the offense comes to the line on fourth down here in overtime he'll try to throw and pick up the first down H is he throws and the ball goes right to the ground incomplete well how about this one a fun one these guys came in as underdogs and they walk out as the winner they didn't care they were unranked that's not what they were worried about oh this team's rank rank they wer looking at them any different they were looking to come in and get the W and execute great job believing they could come Jesse and knock them off yeah you're right David this team came in with something to prove and they knew they had a national audience that was going to be paying attention to this game what a great job going out under the lights Big Time stage against a ranked opponent and really putting their aame
