Francine's Eye we know passed right over T Bone Parish with some of the most intense winds. Today, residents are getting a better idea of the damage there as officials set up sites to give away critical supplies in the fishing community of Dulac, many boats broke free and were tossed around by the storm. Neighbors tell us the storm was more intense than what they were expecting. Three boats was tied off right here and secured during the eye wall. When the eye wall came through, they broke loose. They had one bow line, one bow line that was holding it together and then all three of them took off across the bayou and whenever they hit across the bayou on that wharf, then one of them went on, laid on his side and the other two just tangled around the pylon starting today. Terrebonne Parish has set up points of distribution or pods to give away ice water and Mres, the sites will be open from 8 to 6 every day until further notice. You can find out more on our website.
