ex talk a little bit about the connection you're clearly developing with Cam uh you you had one with Tyler last year there does not appear to be any drop off in that regard I mean Cam's a special player you know we all have built a really good relationship with Cam since the day he's come in here you know and we're still building we're not perfect yet um or else I would to cut that ball but uh again a lot of room for improvement but I mean since the day he's come in here every single last one of us receivers tight ends running backs anybody who catches the ball um has gotten you know closer and Tighter with them X to be able to see lot of the young guys specifically nikar you'll be able to get playing time just what was it like from your advantage point seeing them and just the value that will bring for them for as the season goes on I was super stoked to see those guys in live action plays um I was actually one of the guys jumping down up on the sideline whenever they got the ball so uh I mean to get our young guys in there that put the hard work in the same as us you know that's always a wonderful feeling as an older guy and uh hopefully we could do that a lot more this season next you passed Andre Johnson and alen Hearns on like the um alltime receiving yarts list uh tonight uh which I you know with that saying something something just what does that that mean to you no it means a lot you know but uh honestly the only thing that matters right now is that we were one and0 this week um and again I'm just super excited to take the field with my guys every single week uh we put in the hard work Monday through Friday again and to have an opportunity like this you know it's all got how hard is it to be critical when you guys are yourselves by 24 in a big game last week by 49 47 there have been teams here in the past that would look at that and say we're good we got it how hard is it to to correct to make Corrections when you're coming off sure I mean we're not perfect you know so it's kind of easy to make Corrections you know uh whether it's one play or you know 30 plays however we could ourselves and even if we don't have no mistakes which is nearly impossible how can we be better you know so again it's always um we're trying to do the best that we can do whether it's a minute detail or a big picture hey I hate to use the word Elder Statesman but when you talk about you being one of the more experienced players on the team how much do you relish the idea of having a leadership role to try to bring these guys along and get them used to Miami Hur football for sure I mean I think with culture you know um I want to pave the road for the young guys so that when I leave there is no drop off you know so it's the same culture and they're expected to do the same thing that I did you know so um again Ray R is doing a great job cuz that's the guy I'm with every single day R's jumped you know tremendously and whenever he will get his shot I mean he's going to take off thank you anything else for X yeah how nice was it to see you know cam sprad well his first six passes six big receivers how special is that oh I mean that just shows you again how dangerous our team is you know what what our team is capable of again we just need to you know get to get back to the work and we have a very very dangerous team in offense next when you guys started drive at the one is it only natural to thing an opportunity for the 9 yard there I mean cam you know just says there's more yards to be on the stat line you know so when we start from the one there just more opportuni so uh again every Drive is going to be different every Drive is going to go you're going to have some adversity that's just how you deal with it and you speaking of like the offense being very dangerous um tonight seemed very balance I think cam had like 20 for 26 and um you know Fletcher and um and Martina a like nine yards a Carri just what to say about the team that you guys are able to kind of pick your poison got uh you know assert your will against other teams right for sure I mean it's exciting you know to know that we have a dangerous you know Personnel whoever is in the game you know so again a big thing for the receivers is we take pride and blocking and we want to free those running backs up because at the end of the day we're running all over you get St blocks and that just creates better match ups in the back end so again um again we have a really really dangerous team especially our defense our defense got after them you know so again we're just excited I know the answer to this already but couple of top 10 teams lost today you have a chance to move into the top 10 for the first time since 2020 tomorrow will that matter if that happens to you doesn't matter I mean we're just thinking about going one and0 we got Ball State next week and uh yeah that's all we're focus on awesome X thank you than
