hello welcome to my YouTube channel Mahi News Chattanooga State announced just after 12:30 p.m. that the campus is safe and later said the lockdown is lifted Chattanooga State sent another alert at about 1: p.m. saying that classes are canceled for the day and that counseling is available for any student who needs it earlier law enforcement is responding to a credible threat on the campus of Chattanooga State Community College Thursday morning according to school officials at a news conference late Thursday morning Chattanooga State official and law enforcement say they have heard no gunfire nor encountered any suspect or victims nor have they heard any reports of injuries at the news conference they would not elaborate on the nature of the threat they earlier called credible as of 11:30 a.m. law enforcement continues to clear the campus the campus is on lockdown until further notice according to Chattanooga State spokeswoman Nancy Patterson
