hi it's Mitch from picd do.com here with your free pick in the Texas vs Colorado State College football matchup on Saturday August 31st 2024 of course it's my favorite day of the week during my favorite time of the year it's College Football Saturday if you like all the free picks we do at piic dogs you'll love our premium picks our Best Bets just go to piic dogs.com click on the premium picks tab I've also got a link directly below in the description if you make bigger bets $1,000 or more have bankroll like 10,000 plus we have VIP packages for you but these are only long-term packages so if you want just daily packages or short-term or even up to long-term packages we have those on the website in our regular premium picks Tab and at the link but if you want long-term VIP packages text the number but let's get to it Texas taking on Colorado State of course a big matchup for the Longhorns as every game will be this season and it's an interesting matchup for a lot of reasons Colorado State returns a quarterback but you know certainly a team that you know needs some work last year I believe you know that game against Colorado that we saw and they stood up to it and really almost won that game as a gigantic dog on the road kamaro was the key player on defense but of course he's gone to the NFL at this point of course you know he he had his share of troubles while he was at Colorado State but the thing is that the buff you know the uh the Rams have certainly uh you know the no strangers to these big games on the road into open college football seasons they've had mixed success you know in these games as well not always really holding up but you know definitely a team that I believe in a coaching staff that is somewhat on the rise in the grand scheme of things a lot of players want to play for this coach and I think that is always a good sign even if they're not quite at the talent level they need to be to compete against the big boys like the texases of the world and Texas in an interesting spot here of course realizing just how important every game is in college football especially when you've reached this level that they're at they made the playoff last year was their first time making the college football playoff since the revised BCS and really the first time you know being Rel in the National scene since the year Vince Young right fourth in touchdown against USC so it was really you know a a big comeback season for Texas and despite the loss to Oklahoma still going to the big game now Texas they don't have uh opportunity really to avoid a hiccup or to um you know survive too many hiccups because now they've moved to the SEC and with that comes that SEC schedule and a lot tougher games than they were probably used to seeing in the Big 12 they do have a quarterback issue here and I think it's a good issue normally when you see a CO quarterback it's not really even a controversy when you see a team that has two good quarterbacks like yours and Manning um you know generally there's a little bit of a controversy and usually if it usually means you don't have any good quarterbacks but in this case I do believe it is the opposite I think they have two very very good quarterbacks and I think Texas has more than enough speed power strength size and everything to blow Colorado State out of the building but I think what's going to happen in this game is Texas is going to get up in this game and I think they're going to take their foot off the gas and I think they're susceptible to the back door with Michigan waiting next week I think that Texas um you know really can't leave their starters out there all that long I think Colorado State's going to have a chance to back door them or just cover out right I'll just take Colorado State and the points and that's going to be my free pick of course while you're doing your picks putting your bets in use our free betting tools at sportschatplace.com 100% free and they'll help put you on the most favorable bets on the board today
